I wanted 5 radiators replaced and a thermomostat added to 2 other radiators. I had a lot of difficulty even getting someone to quote for the work so I was pleasantly surprised how quickly Liam got back to me and then booked me in for the work. He arrived on time and completed the work within his estimate. He was very thorough and insisted on tidying up afterwards. Overall a pleasure to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Just grateful that I had stocked up on teabags and Caramel wafers beforehand.

After 3 price quotes across three different boiler installers, these guys were the best price by a few hundred quid despite being 30 miles away from my house. We arranged comparison quotes for an Air Source Heat Pump installation from other local companies. Ryan Newman and Ryan Moulton at Holt Plumbing and Heating gave us a very detailed and competitive quote and they provide a comprehensive service. The installation team were highly professional. Removal of the oil fired boiler and installation of a Nibe Air Source Heat Pump is now complete together with replacement radiators, plumbing and electrics. We have a comfortably warm house throughout the day, and in the evening reduce the heat from bedroom radiators. The hot water provided is more than adequate! We are incredibly impressed with the service that this company provides, and also the technology provided by Nibe, the heat pump is quieter than the old oil fired boiler, and appears to be very energy efficient! We thoroughly recommend this company.

After dithering about whether we should get solar for over a year Holt gave us detailed projections and a very competitive quote and in under a month from saying yes the panels were up and generating next day! Great communication, from Mark, Ryan and the team and the works carried out neatly and without any disruption. Highly recommended for both the panels and any boiler work required. 5 stars all round.

Central heating not working - Pete came out quickly and soon diagnosed the problem. Fitting a new pump to get the heating running again and then returning to fit a hew hot water tank as the old one was leaking. Great and timely service. Would definitely recommend.

Used this company on Saturday 4th January 2025. Had a major problem with our sinks and toilet not draining away. Needed some urgent help but was sceptical who to ring. After a few searches on Google I found Canford Drains who had overall amazing internet reviews. Called the owner who sent one of his operatives within 1 hour , I was kept informed of the arrival time constantly. The operative was professional , experienced and sorted the problem within less than an hour. Bearing in mind this was an emergency call out on a Saturday morning and all was sorted within 2 hours of me ringing the cost was very fair. No payment demanded , sent an invoice a few days later. I would recommend Canford Drains to anyone with a drainage issue. Thank you Canford Drains.

I'm currently renovating a property that has been empty for more than 2 years so felt it appropriate to have the drainage system checked & cleaned in preparation for my eventual occupation. To be honest, I didn't ring around for this service - based on previous reviews I only contacted Canford Drains. I haven't been disappointed. True to his word Mark fitted me in at the earliest opportunity. Darren & George did a great job making sense of my system, thoroughly & methodically cleaning everything out & allowing me the opportunity to view the images from the camera. I can't recommend SCD Plumbing enough! I have used them before for general servicing and repairs and always found them to be super professional, very prompt and always kept well informed. We recently moved into a house and had to move our gas meter, SCD Plumbing was very fast at coming out to connect the meter back up to the boiler and install the gas pipe in the kitchen to how we would like them so we can renovate our kitchen, they listened to how we wanted things done and they done this that way, they were very helpful and also helped us to take out old gas pipes. I can thoroughly recommend SCD plumbing. They have helped me out several times. The latest was for a leak from the waste pipes of my bathroom sink. Huw managed to squeeze me in short notice at the end of the day to fix some leaky radiator valves. He turned up on time and cracked on straight away. He did a brilliant job at fixing the radiator valves and even went one step further and fixed some pipes that were installed badly by the previous owner. All in all a very reliable tradesman and charges a reasonable price. Highly recommended
