I picked Steve because he was top of checkatrade. He is very quick at diagnosing and correcting problems. His charges are fair, transparent and combined with speed, excellent value for money. He is very straight talking and professional. Probably the best plumber I have come across in 25 years. The only problem- he is busy and you have to be prepared to wait for a slot.

Steve came out within a few hours of me calling and fixed my leak, he was on time and did a brilliant job.. I would highly recommend Steve.

I wanted 5 radiators replaced and a thermomostat added to 2 other radiators. I had a lot of difficulty even getting someone to quote for the work so I was pleasantly surprised how quickly Liam got back to me and then booked me in for the work. He arrived on time and completed the work within his estimate. He was very thorough and insisted on tidying up afterwards. Overall a pleasure to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Just grateful that I had stocked up on teabags and Caramel wafers beforehand.

Needed washing machine cold water feed repaired and waste pipe moved to accommodate new deeper machine. The engineers, Ben and Connor were very courteous and the workmanship of the highest standard: neatest hole through wall I have ever seen. All tested thoroughly before leaving. As an OAP choosing specific trades can be daunting, but this firm has been amazing, treating me with kindness, courtesy and efficiency going above and beyond to ensure all is satisfactory at fair prices too. Vince Max Jake Ben have been fantastic,even juggling rota in a very hectic time to ensure I wasn't without heating or hot water. Above and beyond communication at all stages from initial call to repair and invoicing. Adrian and the team were great. We had a leak which they correctly discovered and efficiently dealt with. Also a big plus is that they are local to us (in Wimborne) and part of a well established local firm (Canford Drains which is well known in the area). I was also recommended by my insurance broker to try another national firm (Polygon) which was approximately twice as expensive. Would totally recommend Wessex.

After months of frustration and many plumbers I was advised by my insurance company to contact a leak detection specialist. I have nothing but praise for Adrian and his professional approach to our very frustrating situation. He found two leaks and recommended an excellent plumber. From my initial phone call and conversation with Mark I knew that I was dealing with a professional business. Adrian rang me straight back, discussed the problem and confirmed that he could attend the following morning. He arrived punctually and fully equipped with all the leak finding tools you could think of! It took a while due to other problems, but the leak was detected and suggestions given in respect of the new supply pipe I would need. I have to say that the service wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. In summary, this company delivers what it says it will - punctual, polite, professional. I would have no hesitation recommending them if you need to find an underground leak without digging up your property.

Heating stopped working in depths of January with 3 small children. Simon arrived within the hour, out of hours on a Saturday evening and fixed the issue quickly. Friendly and professional, would absolutely recommend.

We had a leak on our cylinder that was very dated and Simon was able to come at short notice to check it out and gave us several options for the repair, we decided to upgrade the system which required working in the loft for quite some time. Simon refitted a new cylinder on his time off within a few days, he kept us updated on the progress, he was really helpful and honest about the results we would get in various places in the house. We are very happy with all that has been fitted, there is a huge difference in pressure with our hot water within the whole house and no more noisy pumping system on the first floor, it is above expectations! We hardly knew he was there whilst doing the work. We strongly recommend his services and will definitely contact him again for any future work
