Excellent service today with a composite door locking mechanism that wouldn’t engage. Andrew quickly diagnosed the fault , requiring a new central component which unfortunately wasn’t in stock. So he detached the required part from a full assembly that was in stock and fitted it to our mechanism. Whole process less than 20 minutes and a bill for 40 odd quid rather than £110 plus for the full item. Outstanding !

John's very quick to respond and extremely punctual. Not just providing good pricing, but also extremely informative so I as a consumer, know what I'm paying for. Hence, for me to fork out more monies than originally planned came naturally on-the-spot as John was walking me through some options available for locks and handles in-person. He provides 12 months warranty in event of any installation giving issues down the road. I had reached out to him for this gig out of some reviews I read here, and he truly lives up to his track record. I wouldn't go to anyone else after this for similar gigs.

Called them for emergency access to a Rock security door with high security lock fitted. Arrived promptly, gained entry and replaced the lock which included a set of five keys which was very handy, and also cleaned up afterwards. Very professional and price very reasonable. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

What a great guy Remi is. Needed a new ignition barrel, and this was all done and sorted within 1 day. The price was almost half what I had been quoted from other places. Had to call out an emergency locksmith during a weekend evening due to the operating mechanism in my upvc door failing which prevented it from locking. After attempting to contact a number of local 24 hr locksmiths who would not answer their phones I decided to try Lowton Locks. I must say that I was not disappointed when the owner Kelvin answered the phone immediately and said he would attend within the hour. Very friendly chap who quickly made a temporary repair to the mechanism which allowed the door to be locked The gearbox in the mechanism had failed which required a new one and he promised to return Monday morning to fit a new part. Again not disappointed as he returned punctually as stated , replaced the gearbox and carried out adjustments to the hinges. The door now works better than it did when new and overall I was very pleased with the level of service.

The ignition on my 40 year old classic car had locked, being unable to turn the key. Ian came out and in no time managed to get the old barrel out and fit a new one. He did a brilliant job and I cannot recommend him enough. I will have no hesitation in recommending him.

John rescued me! I'd lost my keys on a morning run, rang JM Locksmiths and explained the situation, asking him to "pencil" me in for 5pm in case i found the keys or located a spare. He quoted a reasonable price. When I couldn't find a spare, John arrived and although it took him longer to pick the lock than expected (apparently it was a really good dead lock) he honoured the quote. Delighted, and thoroughly recommend.
