I just bought a replacement window handle from this local shop. It was a little more expensive than the options I’d seen on Amazon, but I had a nice chat with the owners, who also showed me a cheaper Amazon-priced alternative in case I wanted it (I didn’t). Back home & after 60mins of failed DIY, frustration and self-flagellation, I called the shop & spent 10mins on the phone with Paul and he patiently tried to trouble-shoot my problem. No joy there, so he sent his colleague Martin over to my house to install the window handle… & realign the problematic mechanism in my window frame.. Long story short, there are many reasons to shop local, and my experience today at P J Harvey & Co. Ltd. in Morden embodies all of them. I look forward to shopping there again, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for their product expertise, service, community spirit & support.

Highly recommend, we booked a locksmith to gain entry & change locks, they were on time, professional and friendly. Also very reasonably priced! Will use them again when needed!
