We’ve been with this vet for over two years now, and it’s hands down the best veterinary practice we’ve ever visited. Before finding them, we tried a few other clinics, but none compared to the level of care and professionalism here. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the vet is amazing—always happy to help and genuinely caring about the animals. We’re so grateful to have found them!

Chose this vet after seeing the Google reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Alan was lovely with our puppy for her first vet visit and spent double the appointment slot to provide information and answer our questions. Puppy left more relaxed than when we arrived. Really happy I chose this vet, even though it isn’t the closest one to me.

After my dog pinched and swallowed the plastic netting from a joint of beef my regular vet couldn’t fit him in. Blackheath vets came to the rescue and saw him immediately. The kind staff helped him to be sick and he soon brought it back much to my relief. I really recommend this vet practice. Lovely friendly can-do staff and vets

Brilliant vets! Have been with them for many years and they are highly skilled. I always recommend them. Dom, Alan and Gav ( as well as Ash in the past) are such good and caring Vets. You cannot get any more kind and knowledgeable Vets. The surgery works so well as the nurses there are so fab too, Kim and Mia are just a few of the lovely ones working there always trying to find appointments for you, keeping you calm and so supportive . I had all my dogs spayed there and some other procedures done at this great Vet.( Toggles just a few days ago) not only I know the OP is done by the best (Dom) but also the aftercare is amazing, fast callback after the OP, clear instructions. You always get written advice and a call back if all is ok. You will always be reminded via text when the next appointment is. Just a very perfect setting with amazing Vets. Most of all I love that all my dogs love the Vets. I love seeing how they give them not only the utmost medical care but also the cuddles and love .Thank you to all of you, Dom for being such a great Vet, and also Alan for helping us by going the extra mile when we were in desperate need for help with travel. I have visited twice recently with my cat Geir. Both times we got an appointment at short notice and the reception team was very friendly and professional. We've seen Carla and she's a lovely vet - takes time to listen and discuss options and is very kind and caring when handling Geir.

I would not take my animals anywhere else. They are so caring loving and kind. I get honest opinions with them. They cared for my last dog until the very end of his nearly 15 years on this planet. He loved visiting the staff and they supported me so much when it was time to make that very hard decision and made a difficult time much easier. Unfortunately they now have to deal with my new fur monster 😄

I have been there since from june coupl of time with my Princess (cat). The very first time Dani who treat my Princess he is kind, he is look after my Princess very carefully, and explaning every treatment for me easy way, all for this I am very greatful. Rebecca She is also kind, she is alway smilling whe I arrive, make me very comfortabel and easy for chating, and She is very helpfull. I will definitely recommend it to everyone. you can tell the staff really care about each pet that they take on, absolutely amazing service and great staff :) accidentally arrived two hours earlier than my appointment but it was no problem for them, managed to fit me in and send me off within that hour itself

Everyone here is amazing! 10/10, Rebekah and Imogen are THE loveliest nurses that we’ve ever met - actually all of the staff at Goddards have been wonderful. I’m happy that the Barking Branch always look after my 3 pets (Bella, Jeff and Cinnamon) Rebekah is always such a happy and lovely lady to welcome us. Bella absolutely loves Danny! We were very sad when Jose left but Danny has been very kind and helpful, always giving us the best advice and making sure we get the right treatment for our pets! I would 100% recommend coming to this vets!

First visit to get my cat neutered after some good recommendations, and everything was brilliant. The reception staff were absolutely lovely, and so was the nurse who called to update me after it was done. It's by far the cheapest place I had found, but the service did not at all reflect that. I also got lucky enough to meet the resident cat, Potato, and, well, as a cat lover, that just made it even better! Thank you!

Yesterday I popped into thamesmead practice for advise and I must say how helpful and professional the lady was. I purchased what I thought was a 8 week old jack Russell I didn't believe it was that old.The receptionist booked me a app for today so a vet could check him over I went to my app it was on time not like the PDSA .The vet checked my Boris over and confirmed he was only 6 weeks but then he advised me to book his injections for -3 weeks time .When I left I was told because it was a puppy check my visit was free today very impressed is a under statement thanks again

not a bad word to say about this vets! my cat has been registered here for about 7 months now - she has had her vaccinations here, monthly check ups, an ear infection treated and recently neutered. they‘ve been nothing but informative, present and also very reasonably priced! i pay £17.50 a month for my cat’s flea and worming treatment as well as discounts on anything else we may need (such as her recent surgery)! me and serafina really appreciate everyone here at goddard vet’s! thank you for everything you do! 10/10!

Amazing vet practice. Elena and the team at Goddard Ilford are genuinely angels and I cannot thank them enough. Elena is an expert on all things small pets, my regular vet in Loughton referred me to her when our hybrid dwarf hamster, Ponyo, needed surgery for a lump on his belly. Ponyo is an older boy (at nearly 3 years old) so surgery was obviously a bit of a risk, but I had no worries knowing that he was in the safest hands possible with the team here. Elena talked us through the technique she would use for the anaesthetic, how the day of surgery would go and presented us the available options in a clear way. She obviously really loves animals, and she was so kind with us and our hamster. The surgery was a total success and Ponyo is a new man, he has a completely new lease on life and is dashing around his cage like a hamster half his age. I would recommend anyone with a small pet to go here and I know they're also especially good with cats; in our visits to the practice we saw all manner of different animals: dogs, cats, birds, bearded dragons and even a pygmy hedgehog! It's a busy practice, but the staff are still very compassionate and friendly. Thank you again 💓

After discovering this vets after weeks searching for a tortoise vet I came across these people I took my tortoise for a beak and nail cut and the vet, Helena, made such a lovely fuss of her and didn't rush me so I was able to get a better knowledge of the breed. Claire the receptionist also was very lovely and polite which is a rare thing these days. Thoroughly wonderful service guys and quite reasonable charges I will come back again x

Our cat Vienna was lost for a few days, we found him with a kind lovely neighbor Linda, Unfortunately he was dehydrated which we immediately took him to Goddard’s without appointment. All though the Dr was preparing to go to the theatre for surgery but she attended to us. We are so grateful and a big thank you to all the staff. They were very kind helpful and Polite. After being let down by one or two other places I came across k9 fertility clinic online and I’m glad I did. The staff are very knowledgeable and very helpful and able to answer all my questions. They had a really good demeanour with my dogs highly recommended…. Hopefully things go well and we will be back in a few weeks fingers crossed

Had a good experience with K9 Fertility Clinic, very professional and experienced I had Stud my Jet Black German Shepherd and I would definitely recommend Insemination as it is safe and the healthiest way to breed your dog especially my GSD as we all know this breed could have hip problems so I have to be careful and make sure no stress is put on the hips, which is why I prefer Insemination. I have had good results with Insemination and had results of 8 - 10 healthy puppies every litter my most recent litter was 10 pups. Done By K9 Fertility Clinic I also do recommended to hold the female dog bottom elevated for at least 10 minutes for the best results.

This isn’t our usual vet - which is 150 miles away - but am now registered for when we are in London with our Tibetan, Ted. I am extremely glad we found such an excellent practice. *** One of the best veterinary practices I have ever been to *** Today I had the pleasure of speaking with one of the registered veterinary nurses at the Goddard Dagenham branch as I needed an urgent appointment for my cocker spaniel. I was speaking to a lovely lady called Dianne. My cocker spaniel was in an argument with one of my other dogs and was injured Superficially, I’m just not acting herself. Even though they were very busy, Dianne went out of her way to make space in the diary to accommodate my Jessie . Dianne was so professional during the conversation she put my mind that is straight away reassuring me that I have a consultation with an excellent vet Lawrence. When I attended the practice, I was greeted with warm faces and very reassuring knowledgeable comments that really put my mind at is. Dianne, you are amazing. I had to consultation with veterinary surgeon Lawrence, who gave my animal a full check over from nose to tail. Every step of the way he explained why he was doing and gave me great advice on how to prevent this happening again. From someone that suffers with partial blindness, Lawrence read through all the information packs just so I would understand fully the steps I need to take to prevent this situation happen again. He was excellent and gave my animal, some pain, relief and prescribed pain relief for the next couple of days so Jessie would not be in pain. He even went as far as to give me a contact number for a dog trainer that specializes in reactive dogs, which I thought was so kind and professional. I honestly would recommend this veterinary practice to everybody I meet. I wish there was more people in the world like Dianne and Lawrence. Thank you both so much. From me and Jessie

We have been with Goddard Barkingside for over a year now since we got our first cat, and I couldn’t be happier with their service. The prices are reasonable, and they’re always willing to offer alternatives that fit our budget, which is such a relief. The whole team has a positive attitude, friendly and welcoming. Doctors are gentle and highly-qualified. Most recent experience was with Dr Poppy, who is amazing!! Alexandra, the receptionist, is especially polite and incredibly informative—she always takes the time to answer our questions in detail, and we never feel rushed during our visits. Our second cat is now under their care too, and I trust them completely with both of our pets. We use them frequently, and I hope their prices and high standard of care stay the same for years to come. Highly recommended!
