I've had Canford Drains over twice now - most recently to replace a section of subsided pipework. Fantastic service, brick driveway was put back like nothing has happened. One to keep in the contact list for whenever they are needed and shows why they are so highly rated locally.

I'm currently renovating a property that has been empty for more than 2 years so felt it appropriate to have the drainage system checked & cleaned in preparation for my eventual occupation. To be honest, I didn't ring around for this service - based on previous reviews I only contacted Canford Drains. I haven't been disappointed. True to his word Mark fitted me in at the earliest opportunity. Darren & George did a great job making sense of my system, thoroughly & methodically cleaning everything out & allowing me the opportunity to view the images from the camera. Darren explained everything and put my mind at ease. All very professional. No hesitation in recommending the company.

Mark has been extremely helpful and understanding on a number of occasions over the phone. We had previously been told by a cowboy company (unbeknownst to us at the time!) that we had thousands of pounds worth of damage and it was urgent we have it done as soon as possible. Phoned Canford Drains (a local company), who reassured us, that with the symptoms we were describing it doesn’t sound as bad as we first thought. Scott has come out to carry out a CCTV survey of our drains today. He has been excellent with showing us the footage, explaining thoroughly what issues there are, how severe / minor they are, and what can be done . This will then all be written up in a report for us along with the footage. (I think this is quite important - the other company didn’t offer us this). Honest and reliable company - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will definitely be our first port of call with any further issues with ours or our families drains.

I picked Steve because he was top of checkatrade. He is very quick at diagnosing and correcting problems. His charges are fair, transparent and combined with speed, excellent value for money. He is very straight talking and professional. Probably the best plumber I have come across in 25 years. The only problem- he is busy and you have to be prepared to wait for a slot.

We arranged comparison quotes for an Air Source Heat Pump installation from other local companies. Ryan Newman and Ryan Moulton at Holt Plumbing and Heating gave us a very detailed and competitive quote and they provide a comprehensive service. The installation team were highly professional. Removal of the oil fired boiler and installation of a Nibe Air Source Heat Pump is now complete together with replacement radiators, plumbing and electrics. We have a comfortably warm house throughout the day, and in the evening reduce the heat from bedroom radiators. The hot water provided is more than adequate! We are incredibly impressed with the service that this company provides, and also the technology provided by Nibe, the heat pump is quieter than the old oil fired boiler, and appears to be very energy efficient! We thoroughly recommend this company.

After dithering about whether we should get solar for over a year Holt gave us detailed projections and a very competitive quote and in under a month from saying yes the panels were up and generating next day! Great communication, from Mark, Ryan and the team and the works carried out neatly and without any disruption. Highly recommended for both the panels and any boiler work required. 5 stars all round.

Just need to tell everyone what a brilliant job Duncan Sharples has done in completely refurbishing our bathroom. We knew he was good - we just didn't know that he was this good! We have always used Duncan for our emergency plumbing, but this was a really big job, involving completely "gutting" the family bathroom and totally re-fitting it - and this included tiling all the walls. We could not be more pleased with the standard of his work, which is absolutely excellent. The bathroom is now quite beautiful. Duncan is a very highly skilled plumber, with a totally professional approach. We trust him 100% and would highly recommend him to others.

Huw managed to squeeze me in short notice at the end of the day to fix some leaky radiator valves. He turned up on time and cracked on straight away. He did a brilliant job at fixing the radiator valves and even went one step further and fixed some pipes that were installed badly by the previous owner. All in all a very reliable tradesman and charges a reasonable price. Highly recommended

Adrian and the team were great. We had a leak which they correctly discovered and efficiently dealt with. Also a big plus is that they are local to us (in Wimborne) and part of a well established local firm (Canford Drains which is well known in the area). I was also recommended by my insurance broker to try another national firm (Polygon) which was approximately twice as expensive. Would totally recommend Wessex.

After months of frustration and many plumbers I was advised by my insurance company to contact a leak detection specialist. I contacted Lewis to arrange an appointment with him due to a leak in my bathroom. Lewis explained all the stages he would go through to locate the leak. I was very impressed. Lewis arrived on time, was professional and friendly. He located the leak within 2 hours and dealt with it. I was shocked to see the amount of water that was leaking on to the floor under the bath. Lewis was very supportive in what was a very stressful situation for me. I highly recommend this company. Thank you Lewis for doing a great job.
