We used TH&TH for some decorative elements at our wedding in Sussex in August and could not be happier with the service. We chose to hire some floral/decorative elements as well as a lounge set for the barn style venue and the pieces worked so well with our theme - the photo spot which was decorated by the team was particularly popular with our guests and we've got some amazing photos and memories. Thank you to all the team for helping to add those special finishing touches to our day.

To Have & To Hire did our decoration for our 2 day wedding at Buxted Park Hotel and East Sussex National. They did such an amazing job on both days to help our vision come to life, but what impressed us the most, was our multicultural wedding for the second day. We were wanting a traditional Asian set-up and specifically after a “Mandap” which they had never done before. The Mandap looked incredible and was exactly what we wanted. It wowed all the guests and the centrepieces looked incredible too with some people thinking that the flowers were real! A massive thank you to Sara, Michelle and the team for being the best, super helpful and very communicative throughout the whole process. It helped to make planning a 2-day wedding seamless.

To Have and To Hire Events were fantastic decorating Upwaltham Barns for our November wedding. The team were amazing putting up all of the draping and fairy lights around the venue which made it look so magical. All of our guests commented on the aesthetic and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The team were also so friendly on the lead up to the day and were helpful with any queries we had. They even custom made our table plan with antlers we provided! Highly recommend this company for all types of events including weddings.

To have & to hire were recommended suppliers via our wedding venue, I cannot express how happy I am we used them! They took my vision and made it come to life, I can’t even put in to words how stunning the barn looked. It actually took my breath away when I got to the aisle at how amazing it all looked. I have had so many comments from guests about how stunning the barn looked and whether the flowers were real or not! They took so much stress away from someone who likes to be in control 😆 I got to the venue at 9am and they were already up on ladders installing the foliage! Full dance floor all night!! Guests ranging from 24 years old to 78 years old and everyone was dancing all night! Steve did a fab job to keep the party flowing from the first dance to the last. We gave him a huge task with such a variety of music, including songs that aren’t everyone’s taste and he made everything flow perfectly building up to certain genres. I want another wedding just for the dancing!! Would highly recommend! X

Steve was a joy to deal with from start to finish. We first met at a wedding fayre at Horsley Towers and that’s a great way to both meet your DJ and see what is on offer. He is so easy to talk to and good fun to boot. Our discussions helped us to focus on what music we wanted and even included various versions of the same song we loved and reprised throughout the day. Steve even coped with last minute changes including a sparkling dance floor and extra time to make our day special. On the day the music got everyone up dancing and even included a guess the tune section. Fantastic evening and a great company to deal with. Would definitely recommend.

Steve provided the music, lights and a photo mirror for a large black tie family event for us recently. He was 100% professional, delivered everything we ordered, on time to a fantastic standard. We had an age range 15-65 to celebrate an 18th birthday... the music was spot on - dancing all night with out cheesy call outs or encouragement. He seems to be able to read the room and just know what's right. As well this Steve helped out when there was an unexpected hiccup for another supplier - he mucked in, no fuss, no drama. we will definitely use Steve again and can't recommend highly enough. Thank you for making an important family occasion so memorable.

We used Surrey events hire for our wedding, Steve was the DJ along with his colleague and also provided the photo booth. The team was fabulous throughout, Steve played our pre arranged song requests as well as songs that he thought would be most appropriate and we were not disappointed! Our guests are still commenting on how good the DJ was and the songs that were played, they loved it! We hired Surrey Hills Venues & Events to organise our engagement party. This was the first time we had ever used an event planner and we found the whole experience relaxing and fun. Sacha was so friendly and welcoming and understood exactly what we wanted, giving us some amazing ideas that we hadn't even thought of. We first met with Jenna in 2019, we were due our first baby and knew we needed a wedding planner to support us and help give us our dream wedding. One global pandemic, two babies and three wedding dates later, we finally had our dream wedding in May 2022. It was the best day of our lives and a lot of that lies with Jenna. Jenna not only exceeded expectations in her role as our wedding planner but has also, become our friend, hopefully for life. I have to call out the hair and make up team I had who made all of us feel so calm despite the task ahead of them. I can’t emphasise enough how reassuring it is to be supported by Jenna’s trusted suppliers - I know this personally having gone against jenna with my own make up artist…swiftly realising two weeks before the wedding that Jenna’s choice was better and on so many levels. There were a lot of ‘hiccups’ along our journey. The pandemic is undoubtedly one to call out and due to this we probably ended up being one of Jenna’s longest standing clients. It was an emotional time for all of us, jenna helped us navigate our way through the stress of this period and we never felt on our own with our thoughts. This is despite challenges Jenna must have been feeling given the enormous impact covid had on the wedding industry. The wedding day itself is when Jenna’s role really came into her own. The whole day was seamless from start to finish, we never once worried about timings or whether our guests were being looked after. Our only job that day was to enjoy ourselves which we did in style! I cannot recommend Jenna enough. My husband are I were living in the US whilst planning our wedding but we knew we wanted our wedding in the UK. I found Jenna through her instagram and after speaking with her, we knew she was the person we wanted to plan our wedding for us. Jenna is incredibly professional and takes out all the stress from planning. Every supplier she recommended to us were amazing and fit exactly with the original picture of what we wanted for the wedding. I enjoyed our monthly catch ups and she gave us great advice whenever we needed it. Her recommendations and insight on all aspects of the wedding were invaluable. She supported us through changing our wedding due to Covid and we had no issues moving our date and suppliers. On the day, she made everything run so smoothly and her assistant Frances was equally lovely and great at what she does. We could not have had the wedding we had if it were not for Jenna. If you want someone who is knowledgeable, supportive, a great person and gets the job done with no fuss, I'd advise you to work with Jenna.

From Four Gables perspective, it's definitely beneficial to have Kim to call upon for advice. Having worked with Kim over a number of years we know that her attention to detail delivers amazing events. Kim is creative and innovative but most of all she is great at “getting the job done” with no hassle and total ease. She is a pleasure to work with.

Kim was fantastic, I really wanted to celebrate my 40th in style but didn’t want the stress and pressure of organising a party. Kim was highly recommended by a friend and she didn’t disappoint. Kim arranged to come to my house a few days after first contact. She came up with some fantastic ideas and had some great suppliers to hand. Kim was very efficient and always contacted me to give updates on all the arrangements and so I felt relaxed and just excited to have a 40th celebration with my friends and family, as I knew that everything was in place and being looked after. I would say that I had one of the best nights of my life and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The drink and food was flowing and we all had an absolute blast dancing the night away. The next big party will be my husbands 50th and I will certainly be contacting Kim for another stress free experience.

As someone who works in events, I thought I’d be able to handle the wedding planning all on my own, but with 7 weeks to go, I panicked and reached out to Lauren at Bluebird Creative. After one conversation with her, we knew Bluebird would be fabulous and asked them to help us with on the day event coordination (and gosh we are sooo glad we did so!). Everything in those final 6 weeks was so smoothly run by Bluebird and then on the day, we didn’t have to think of a thing, they had it handled and fully understood our vision to make it a reality! Where do I start! Lauren & her team were amazing from start to finish and our Wedding wouldn't have been the same without her! I used Bluebird Creative for the 'month of' wedding co-ordination and Lauren met us at the venue to run through every bit of detail we wanted on the day. She then took over all the suppliers we'd booked and created an amazing timeline. She was there all day on the Wedding day and was always checking in on me and my husband and her attention to detail was amazing. We had so many comments from family and friends to say how great she was too! Precious and Sean brought my 30th Birthday dreams to life! I am not the easiest person to plan a party for as I am very paticular and am a HUGE perfectionist but Precious understood the assignment. We had meetings to discuss my vision and a whatsapp chat to keep an open channel of communication which was perfect. We worked within my budget and Precious helped me make every penny count, It can be so easy to overlook details in planning but everything was thought of. On the week of the party I felt like I had my own PA's I was able to relax and enjoy while all the set up, vendors etc was handled - even last minute runs to the shop. On the night it was INCREDIBLE, the team were so attentive to me and my guests ensuring everything was perfect at all times. I have never attended such a well organised event. Will 10000000% use them again in the future.

We initially reached out to Green Lily to discuss styling and décor for our wedding, but after meeting Precious, we quickly realised we needed more! After talking through the services, we decided to go for two-week-before coordination, on-the-day coordination, and full styling—and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we met Precious, she just got me. She understood exactly what I wanted and also completely understood my now-husband (who only cared about beer pong and making sure everyone behaved). I felt so listened to—no idea was too small or silly, and Precious always provided thoughtful advice on what would or wouldn’t work. On the day (and during setup the day before), the professionalism of Precious and Sean was truly unmatched. The little touches they added made it so much more special. They handled all the suppliers so seamlessly that I didn’t even notice anything happening behind the scenes. It felt like all I had to do was enjoy the moment, and they took care of everything else. Honestly, they weren’t just our coordinators and stylists—they were our brains that day, and thanks to them, I was able to switch off completely and soak in every single second. The support they’ve given us before, during, and even after the wedding has been incredible—10/10 doesn’t even begin to describe it. We genuinely feel like we’ve gained a friend. I would recommend Green Lily to anyone getting married—it’s worth every single penny and more. They go above and beyond, and I can’t thank them enough for making our day absolutely perfect!

When arranging our wedding ourselves (a garden party on our friends farm) I really needed someone the take charge of the day and Helen did not disappoint. Helen and her team are amazing and I thoroughly recommend them. We've used Events by Helen for 5 events now - wedding, anniversary, 50th & 80th bday parties and a London office party.
