I took my Yorkshire Terrier for castration and teeth extractions this morning to All Creatures in Wandsworth. I was expecting a very frail little darling after his treatments, but to my surprise, he looked cheerful and playful like nothing had happened to him. He had 22 teeth taken out. Staff were amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. Even though this practice was very far from where I live, but I am glad I chose this practice. Their fees were very reasonable too unlike some other veterinaries. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you for an stirling work

All Creatures is a fantastic local vet, and I feel I need to leave a review after my cat, Blue, was poorly around a month ago. Blue had very non specific symptoms, I phoned first thing on a Tuesday. I was initially asked to come in at midday but I explained I was very anxious and the receptionist promptly called me back with an earlier appointment. Blue was seen and they ran quite a few tests but weren’t sure what was troubling her. Anyway, they kept her in overnight and I collected her the next day. I still wasn’t happy with her behaviour and spoke to Nicola, the vet, who asked me to bring her in Thursday morning. She took one look at Blue and said she wasn’t right, and promptly referred us to The Ralph clinic in Marlow. She asked for her to come in the same day so we would avoid out of hours boarding costs, and quickly performed a thoracocentesis prior to me driving her to The Ralph. The Ralph even noted this was very appropriate for them to do prior to transfer, in order to stabilise her for the journey. Throughout the entirety of this scenario, the team were very kind and empathetic. They kept me updated and were happy to update me over the phone whenever I rang. They even phoned to check how Blue was doing after I collected her from The Ralph. They ordered my repeat prescription for medication quickly and was ready for collection the next day. They also assisted with the insurance claim. Honestly, without seeing Blue so quickly I’m not sure she would still be with us today and I’m very grateful to the team who cared for her. Yes, vets are expensive but this is why people should get pet insurance and also why we should be so grateful we have the NHS in the UK. It’s also important to note that this is the equivalent of a GP for humans, they cannot provide every service in this small clinic and sometimes it is appropriate for them to refer to specialists and Vet hospitals. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you, All Creatures.

Vets that genuinely care. We took one of our cats to the hospital one evening when they were unwell, where they had some treatment and came home with some advice to keep an eye on things. We received a call from Mandy at All Creatures the next morning just to check on how Jiji was doing, which was so thoughtful and is a testament to how much they care

Great place and really polite staff the last time I went. They attended to my dog really quickly and were very kind. Location a bit odd as you can't really drive there as it's on a high street and the parking is limited so I just park in Asda and do the 8 minute walk. Every 6 months and every year they send reminders of vaccinations and check ups. In short, they're a good vet

Mina and her team are excellent, they have always responded to emergencies with quick, helpful and practical treatment & advice swell as being caring & kind. Feel like the animals welfare is the priority rather than profit or upselling which is a rare thing these days. I always leave feeling reassured that my cat is in safe hands. Thank you.

Mina is the best vet in London! She doesn’t do this for money but really helping the animals! 😍 For the rest of the local vets our friends are simply a business but not for her! We visited her with my Spooky for his vaccinations, neutering and other issues and she was always ready to book and seen us soon even though she is extremely busy! Thank you!

Arc Veterinary Centre

Arch 3, The Viaduct, St James's Ln, Muswell Hill, London N10 3QX, UK | Veterinary Care

Rating: 4.6 (166) Price Level:

Amazing vets! Incredibly fair value for London. We took our blind resuce cat to a few different vets in north London, unfortunately he needed up to 4 teeth removing. The quotes we had from other vets were astronomical and they seemed more interested in upselling non-essential checks and procedures than resolving the immediate issue. I was recommended Arc by a friend who had a similar experience with his dog. Again other nearby vets quotes were as much as triple what Arc quoted. Arc staff were all excellent, from reception to the vets all really kind and showed genuine love and affection for our cat. Appointment availability was great, the whole process was quick and easy. Going back to the price we were quoted a range from X to Y and the final price was roughly in the middle. The top end of the quote was less than half what I'd been quoted by some vets! We will only be returning to Arc Veterinary Centre in the future, there is no need to consider anywhere else. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Excellent work, thank you all!

Top quality cat care as my cat has or had bladder problems as she gets very sensitive. And the vet knew exactly what was going on. Great customer service and calming place for all animals. As me and my family have had bad experience in other veterinary clinics. A little bit pricey but worth the treatment. Didn’t take a photo of my cat as I didn’t want to startle her.

We came to Dr. Richard’s surgery for the first time in 2021, when my Tobbi (Bichon Frise) was 12 years of age. He was suffering from adenoma growing and bleeding near his rear end. We visited a few vets before we found Dr. Richard and they all were giving us different reasons not to do the operation, like age thing, difficult area, for some of them it was a challenge. But when we came to Dr. Richard, he had a look and without any hesitation and with an absolute confidence he said “Yes, I can do that” And he did a perfect job. It was such a happiness to see our little cutie pie playing and running again. Unfortunately Tobbi's condition is a recurring benign adenomas issue and we have to come to Dr. Richard to remove new adenomas when they appear. The danger of the operation on this area that the dog can become faecally incontinent, but thanks to Dr. Richard’s skills, our Tobbi is still ok after having several operations on this area. Dr. Richard is a very skilled surgeon, he always gives us the right advice and he does perfect internal stitches, which are not visible, no need to look after, the wound is clean and not bleeding compared to external stitches. All the stuff we met at Arc Vet - receptionist Jasmine, nurse, they are always very helpful, friendly and caring. We live far away, in West London, but we are willing to come to Arc Vet because of the professionals who work here.

The team at Arc clearly love animals and have been great looking after ours cats 🐈‍⬛ over the last few years and are always happy to provide advice and suggestions if we ever have any questions. They were also really helpful when one of our cats had kittens and we needed all the support around that (see pic). Overall super happy with them and would happily recommend. They also provide cat and dog sitting services if needed 👍

I would like to thank my vet Dr Alison from the Palmers Green branch of the Village vet. She has supported my Duchess for many years. She would contact me even in the evenings to check up on Duchess. I would love to thank the amazing staff at Streatham Hill Vets after the wonderful and most thoughtful gift they sent my mum today, after losing her very old cat Tinkerbell a couple of months ago, today she received the most sweetest remembrance of her beloved Cat. Beautiful footprints and a snipping of her beautiful black coat. It made my mum very emotional but with happy memories of her 17 year old cat. The timing was perfect, you really did a great job of caring for her baby when she was poorly and making the heartbreaking process easier to manage. Well done guys, a massive Pat on the back to you guys for being so so thoughtful. Can’t thank you enough for making my mums day. I really do appreciate everything you’ve done then and today. Can’t recommend you guys enough. Rachel

We recently had to take our dog Micky to here as an emergency and I can't express enough how grateful we are for the exceptional care and treatment he received. From the moment we walked in, the Nurse genuinely concerned about Micky’s health. The Doctor Leonal took the time to listen to our concerns and thoroughly examined Micky, explaining each step of the process in a way that made us feel comfortable and informed. Their compassion for animals is evident, and it was clear that they truly care about their patients. Micky's treatment plan was tailored to his specific needs, and the staff provided us with clear instructions on how to care for him at home. Thanks and grateful for your team.

Medivet in Crouch End took care of our cat Nacho the whole time we had him. We’re eternally grateful to Lionel especially who was so patient and knowledgeable, and really helped us look after Nacho. Lionel was also the one who was here for us and Nacho at the end and we wouldn’t have wanted any other vet to handle this difficult moment. Thanks Lionel for everything.

Excellent, caring service with a very sensitive approach toward budget. Our beloved, and uninsured, cat Albert had persistent, mysterious health issues throughout the last few months of 2018. Sheldon provided incredibly thorough care, whilst always being mindful to do diagnostic examinations in stages to be respectful of our budget - never doing unnecessary examinations until all other options had been eliminated. Albert received top notch medical care the whole way and is now in full health again. Many thanks to the team at Village Vet Highgate for constantly going above and beyond to deliver the best care. My original review in early 2018: Had to take our cat Albert in for a haircut and some dental work. The vets were lovely and did a fantastic job - he's a new man since having 3 rotten teeth removed, a much happier chap. The whole process was handled fantastically at Village Vet Highgate, with us being kept constantly updated by phone on Albert's progress. He's had a few complimentary check-ups since the procedure to ensure all is healing well, and because he had dental work he now receives complimentary 6 month dental checks for the rest of his life. Great experience all round. Thanks!

Exceptional doesn’t even come close to my rating of the team at Holders Hill. Phil Barr is simply amazing-having been to many money grabbing vets practices who push treatment for sadly a material gain, Phil is a rare exception. He treats with compassion, honesty and respect of not only his clients but owners too. My 5 * review extends of course to Nicky and the rest of the supporting team who my 2 spaniels adore. For 2 dogs to beeline to their vets practice on a walk speaks volumes. They simply love it there. Thankyou for all you do to make my boys well and happy.

Great team who I trust with my pets. I have dealt with 3 vets whilst attending the practice over the last 2 years, and I have had really positive experiences with all three (Phil, Nathan and Sandrine). They are currently assisting with relocating our dogs to Australia (the regulatory process is a nightmare) and they have been knowledgeable and super helpful. Anna on reception is a wonder with both her customer service and how she treats the patients.
