âI came here with my family of 5 and I have to say I was very impressed with the setting and environment. Very friendly staff. The vibes I got straight away was a very comfortable and great atmosphere. The service was perfect and gave me enough time to order without any pressure. We ordered lovely food and the chicken steaks were cooked to perfection. No complaint there whatsoever, the taste was first class no doubt. The sauces were not too thick and not too runny then many restaurants I have tried. It was perfect and very rich in taste. You have to try the spicy sauce it is so rich in flavour and to mention top quality food you will recieve here and the mojitas each one has such nice flavour and very refreshing. The chai was the highlight then most places I have been to and this was so far the best đ I would highly recommend this diner for any occasion. You try it once and trust me you will crave it again and again. I honestly am not much of a reviewer but this restaurant is worth every praise. Thank you for your hospitality and amazing cuisine to all staff.â

âIt was my firtst time in the place. I was happy when I found that they make corn dog! The food was delicious. The staff very friendly. Many people were celebrating their birthdays. As United States of America style, they charge 7% (I think) tip included in the bill but you can take it off if you want. The gravy was the best I had so far in the UK. The only think I didn't like was the buch of smokers right on the entrance so when you get in or go out you get the smoke right on to your nose wich is no nice. Smoking so close to the entrance should be prohibited. There is lots of space where smokers can go and damage their lungs without damaging others. But... I will definitely get back.â

Yummy Yorkshire Ice Cream Parlour - Hide & Hoof Farm Restaurant

âGreat Food and a Lovely Market. I visited here on a cloudy Sunday afternoon for brunch at Hide & Hoof and found The Barn Market was open too. The Barn has a nice selection of local Yorkshire independent stores selling unique goods like stylish prints with Yorkshire slang and hand made jewellery. At Hide & Hoof Farm Restaurant, it was very busy on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant has a large capacity with both ground floor and upstairs eating areas but despite this it was very busy for Sunday lunch. Iâd recommend booking a table ahead of schedule if possible. I had a group of 7 and was seated upstairs. The restaurant atmosphere is lovely as was the interior decor of the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and served me and my friends promptly after we decided what we wanted to eat. I ordered the 3 stack of American Pancakes with crispy chicken, chargrilled back bacon & maple syrup which costs ÂŁ10.95 and I also ordered a Pot âaâ Tots (hash brown bites) from the special menu which costs ÂŁ3.95. The food arrived within 40 minutes on a very busy Sunday. The crispy chicken was cooked beautifully and was paired well with the bacon and syrup, the tots were lovely, fried and cooked to perfection! Worth the wait. After brunch, I ordered ice-cream from The Udder Room. Downstairs in the restaurant the ice-cream counter was very busy and I was asked to visit the outdoor store instead. There is a nice selection of ice-cream available (see my photos). I ordered the double scoop of Biscoff & Raspberry Ripple in a cone which costs ÂŁ4. The ice-cream wasnât particularly special but topped off the lovely brunch. Overall, I had a lovely afternoon at Hide & Hoof Farm Restaurant. The service was good and the food was great. I would like to visit again and try different food at the restaurant. I think next time I would also give the ice-cream a miss.â

âArranged to meet a work colleague , I stay in the Las Vegas of the North , Blackpool and she travelled up from Digby. Iâd looked on line for somewhere half way and found this little gem . The reviews prior to our visit were really good and looking at the menu we decided to get it booked and meet up. No dramas booking on line. Arrived in plenty of time and the staff got us menus with lunch specials and the mains and drinks whilst we looked through the menus . It took us an age to decide as there was that much choice and people were ordering around us and we were getting food envy , everyone the staff bought something else out from the kitchen. We eventually went for dough balls and chicken Goujons starters. We shared as they were to good to keep to ourselves . For the mains we both had the hanging chicken kebabs, one chilli and one garlic . You could select what fries you wanted with it and came with pitta and sauces. Just when we thought it couldnât get any better , we checked out the desserts and even tho there was plenty of selection , we both went for biscof cheescake , which I can only say was , life changing . Top surroundings , unreal food and staff on point . GET YOURSELF TO HARVEYSâ

âGreat food and an amazing, cosy atmosphere. The menu is quite limited but this is likely the key to great flavour and therefore a great experience! Id rather have less choice but perfection in taste and flavour. We had a prior booking and were seated immediately. The food came out hot and within a few minutes of ordering. There was nothing that I wouldn't order again which is probably the highest praise I could give a restaurant.â

âForget the dogs on the street, this is where the cool cats meet. It's the drink my chic and I did seek. White Zombies did not contain meat. Alcoholic tastes like a treat, when serving with a little sweet. Ask for Joe, you'll feel heat. Top cocktail skills you will not beat.â

â100% worth a trip. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon was cheerful and lively. The venue itself is also stunning inside. The standout dish for me was the cauliflower buffalo wings. I didn't expect to like them so much. The tuna was also incredible, I would highly recommend it and the paprika fish had such a good flavour. For deserts I can highly recommend the panna cotta and the key lime pie. I doubt there is a dish on the menu that would be a let down. The chefs know their food.â

âTLDR: Lovely, dog-friendly and homely place to drink and eat from an ever-popular Vintage Inn brand. Great food and drink and a lovely atmosphere. Away from the main roads, but next to the motorway (so you can hear the hum of that when outside) is this lovely pub! Step in and you feel like youâre in a modern Yorkshire pub. Thereâs decent ales, cocktails and wines on offer, lots of choice. Theres bar snacks aplenty and then thereâs the main food. The layout is comprised of three main areas: Bar with ample seating, casual dining Mid restaurant near an open fire (closer to the bar, more casual) Main restaurant in the converted barn (slightly more formal, but still casual) The food is superb, especially for the price. Expect around ÂŁ20-ÂŁ30 a head with a simple drink (donât be saying I didnât get the average right when youâre buying a ÂŁ10 cocktail too đ) The Arancini is a lovely starter full of flavour, and so is the garlic button mushroom dish. The penang curry with chicken or whatever you like actually is flavoursome, fruity, and floral with the jasmine rice. Steaks are always cracking quality for the price, as is gammon and fish and chips. For desert, weâve had brownie, crumbles, ice creamsâŚall of them actually. The flower pot is fun and novel and very tasty too! Donât forget to get the app and collect rewards; they are good (like ÂŁ10 off food after two visits!) Hopefully you found this helpful! Give it a like if you did so others see it đâ
