Chris was incredibly professional and polite... And what's better still we no longer have to sleep with an umbrella when it rains. Would give 6 stars if I could.

This company was recommended to me by a neighbour after I asked who'd done his roof which looked fantastic (as far as roofs go), the chap in charge went out of his way to go through the quote and what it entailed. Extremely helpful and polite, would heartily recommend to anyone looking to have work done.

Wilson’s have performed a number of projects at our Grade One listed property in Calderdale. Firstly the repairs and replacements on a large and complex flagstone roof which dates back to the 15th century. The repairs were diligent, sympathetic and to a high quality and with excellent communication throughout. Inside the house, they have recently completed a turnkey bathroom renovation. Again, their work was to the very highest standards and with the property simultaneously being let for AirBnB it was done discretely and with little to no disturbance to our guests. I would highly recommend their work to anyone.

From first contact they were responsive and their representative who called to assess the job, Terry, came across as knowledgeable and honest - so much so that I cancelled the other companies I'd asked to quote and went with this one right away. They then kept good communication, turned up when they said they would, did the job they said they would do, and did it for the price quoted. Their guys on site were pleasant, diligent and tidy. Their office contact Ruth was a pleasure to communicate with. Even the scaffold company they used were friendly, tidy workers and easy to discuss things with. I called Michael Wilson and Son on Wednesday afternoon, after noticing my drainpipe and gutter had been damaged with the recent weather. I received a call from Zac within 30 mins to confirm the enquiry, and to let me know that someone from the company would be with me 8:30 Monday morning to give me a quote for the work. At 8:20 on Monday, Chris and Finley arrived, and by 9:15 had completed the work! Amazing! I couldnt beleive they had not only finished the work but the quality of it was brilliant. For quite a long time we have had problems with our roof at our business premises and have had a couple of "roofers" come and try and solve them. Move on a couple of years and still with leaks I get a recommendatio from a friend in a networking group to "call Gavin at GMC" so I did. Gavin helped me when my property suddenly sprung a leak. He instantly diagnosed the problem and sent me a professional online quote for me to review. Gavin and his team came and replaced/fixed guttering and two defective tiles on my roof, instantly rectifying the problem. Having a complete re-roof is a daunting prospect. GMC’s approach was incredibly thorough and they gave us invaluable advice before we had even committed to using them. There were various challenges as we got underway (including tricky access which required specialist scaffolding) but all were overcome with careful thought and professional expertise. The quality of work was outstanding, Sarah kept us updated throughout and the whole team were great to work with. We would have no hesitation recommending GMC as an all round 5 star company.

Our thanks and big appreciation to Curtis and Daniel, who inspected and then repaired a balcony floor which was leaking into the bedroom below whenever it rained. First chance they had free time, they were over and worked the day to clear, repoint and re-cover the area, also clearing and tidying another flat roof part at the back of our place, doing a great job for both tasks. Lovely guys who are timely, hard working and efficient. Very happy to review and recommend them accordingly.

After the recent storm my kitchen roof started leaking, I contacted Phil and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. This is the 5th time I'm using his firm on various properties since 2015. Phil and his team are always professional, efficient, knowledgeable and above all thorough. They walk you through the process and are transparent and honest. On this occasion, Russel discovered that the sealant around the lead had failed in certain places and the water was finding its way in under certain wind conditions, the roof was not leaking all the time when it was raining. Russels advice was to rake all the old sealant out along the lead and then reseal it. He came back in a couple of days to do the job at a very reasonable price. Arrived when stated to give a free quote. Completed work within a few weeks of the quote being given. Water leaking into loft. Identified that the leak was due to the flashing around the chimney breast coming away. Flashing fixed. Very affordable. Very efficient. Job well done.

Just resently had a new roof fitted november 2024 by Lee and Shaun from High priority roofing. I found them to be very honest hardworking and the price they quoted was very reasonable. Overall i was extremely pleased with the work they did and even did some extra work for me that wasn't even included in the price. Lee was fantastic. Phoned at 9am. Here by 10am. Did a fantastic job and couldn’t have been more helpful and professional. Really nice guy and would certainly recommend to anyone. Have asked him to come back in spring to do ongoing maintenance to all our roof.

Lee turned up in the snow and made our roof water tight to see us through the night, turns up the next morning with Shaun, and after two trips to different reclamation yards to get the exact replacement tiles(over 50 year old ones) my roof is now as good as new.
