Absolutely amazing food and beer. Stumbled across this place by chance and could not have been happier. The food was exquisite and the staff were outstandingly accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend the muscles and pork belly and make sure you get the potatoes on the side! DOV: 11/01/2025

What a gorgeous meal with lovely service. We can definitely recommend the pork belly, halloumi bites and brisket. But, it was all really tasty (loved the oyster mushrooms too). Plus upstairs the view is great!

Nice place overlooking the river, can't comment on food as yet, friendly staff, maybe a few plants to soften the building. My only gripe shared toilets, I know it's a modern world but,having worked in a multitude of places, where most woman wouldn't like sharing with blokes, for reasons best not talked about. Apart from that great space, looking forward to sitting on the deck in summer. Update more seating and space, still needs some plants, real or otherwise. Cake is missing 🍰, you need something sweet with a coffee, scone, biscuit anything, but nowhere to be found? Pardun the pun. I like the vibe in the alley lots of bars of different description.

Came with friends and enjoyed kedgeree and eggs in breadcrumbs home made dandelion and burdock and coffee. Absolute perfection. Immaculately clean - lovely chilled staff.

Family friendly staff First time having fufu and it was amazing with the meatball stew 🥘 1million percent will be going again for some more of the good stuff

First time trying Gambian food and it was nice, enjoyed it.. We had meatballs and rice and another dish with lamb and peanut butter in, very nice. Had some fried bakes which were a bit greasy, the sweet one was better. The home made drinks were great, recommend both the Ginger one and the Baobab. All reasonable prices and well worth trying!

Best African restaurant in Huddersfield! Very good and the portions are so generous for the price. The Services is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend Foeyams !!!

Absolutely fantastic tapas restaurant. Such a diverse choice at reasonable prices... we will visit again, as we want to try all the dishes on the menu (sadly we do not live closer & only tried 5 dishes - which were all amazing). The decor is very cool, the staff are excellent, the chef and his team are non stop in the open kitchen. The result.... a fantastic culinary experience, the dishes were served singularly, which gave the feel of a taster menu. First class. Thanks you. We were fortunate enough to be seated at the bar, overlooking the kitchen, we saw the adept cookery, relentless hard work first hand. Plus, we were given recommendations of the premium dishes to order. Top drawer experience. A must do in the region.

They put together a vegetarian meal (no fish) for me which was tasty and filling. The head chef Ms Claire was very friendly and I can't recommend the place enough. Ital is Vital. I paid £7 for meal, dumpling, negro yam and curry chickpeas.

Great Jamaican food. We had curried mutton and rice , chicken and rice , plantain and coleslaw. Really fresh food, generous portions and moreover Claire knew every ingredient that goes into her food making it safe for those with allergies Sanjay

I love it, there's really nothing more to say. The food was on point, The Grilled chicken was piping hot. The wraps were really juicy and fluffy. Not only that, the prices were OUTSTANDING, £13.50 for a whole chicken Definitely coming back here again!!

Great free omlette. This guys know wow to make an omlette. I didn't have any cash but they gave me a free omlette. Really tasty, I will treat my self again. One of the best.

We had a family meal last night ( Saturday 21st Dec) and just had to write this review. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and it all came out perfect. The service was incredible, all the staff were so friendly and very attentive. A credit to them all… The owner ( Steve I think) was such a lovely man within the hospitality sector. We will all be definitely coming back to this beautiful restaurant in the near future. Highly recommended..

What can I say. Probably the nicest eatery in Huddersfield. Just shared a first date here this afternoon for an amazing Sunday lunch. The food was simply superb, which makes it great value for money, the service was excellent and so friendly. With a lovely busy atmosphere. Such a lovely an memorable place.

I believe The Scullery is the best restaurant in Huddersfield. I have now been 4 times, including for an anniversary dinner and even once just to have a sit down and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with a glass of mulled wine. The homemade food is always stunning, made with fresh and seasonal ingredients (they change their menu to fit the season because they use local products). I love their fish dishes and the second time I went I had the most amazing soup. The service is good and staff always do their best to accommodate even on busy days. I could not praise this place enough, absolutely love the food. The Scullery is a hidden gem and I will come again!!

What an amazing place. The staff were very helpful, friendly and responsive. The food was delicious, well presented and came in very generous portions.The roast beef I had was lovely and tender. Good choice of drinks, next time I might try a cocktail as they sound great. I can tell they really care about cleanliness too.

The roast dinner that doesn't disappoint! Plenty of meat and veg, and great value for money. The staff were lovely too.

This pub is a must go to place. Food is absolutely excellent, freshly prepared and well presented. There were four of us who all had different meals, everyone being beautiful. Service to match too, which is rare there days. A great selection of ales too. Can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely be returning.

Enjoyed our 1st visit to the four sons. The service was good and attentive to the customer. Food has a good range of choices. Enjoyed the chicken curry and the stuffed chicken in parma ham. I appreciate it's difficult to get a fine balance of clientele, whether it's dinners or locals for just drinks or if you are trying to accommodate both, if so dining would be of an earlier sitting rather than later. Overall, it's worth a visit for eating early, 😋

I recently had lunch at Harvey's Bar & Restaurant and it was fantastic. The weather was gorgeous, so we sat outside, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The food was delicious with plenty of options, and the drink selection was impressive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!

Always an amazing experience to dine in/ takeout at Harvey’s. Food is consistently amazing quality and fresh. The restaurant itself is nice to dine in both inside and out and is very clean. Will always choose to come back, my favourite place to dine in Huddersfield. Only slight negative would be that parking is limited making it harder for assess especially if you are blue badge owner.

Arranged to meet a work colleague , I stay in the Las Vegas of the North , Blackpool and she travelled up from Digby. I’d looked on line for somewhere half way and found this little gem . The reviews prior to our visit were really good and looking at the menu we decided to get it booked and meet up. No dramas booking on line. Arrived in plenty of time and the staff got us menus with lunch specials and the mains and drinks whilst we looked through the menus . It took us an age to decide as there was that much choice and people were ordering around us and we were getting food envy , everyone the staff bought something else out from the kitchen. We eventually went for dough balls and chicken Goujons starters. We shared as they were to good to keep to ourselves . For the mains we both had the hanging chicken kebabs, one chilli and one garlic . You could select what fries you wanted with it and came with pitta and sauces. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better , we checked out the desserts and even tho there was plenty of selection , we both went for biscof cheescake , which I can only say was , life changing .
