“Came to Whitstable for the oyster festival for lunch and found this lovely Thai restaurant for dinner! I was really impressed that the whole atmosphere is very authentic Thai run with proper uniform and beautiful flowers setting. Also there is a kids menu and even baby cutlery! Very family friendly place and great food and drinks. Will come back again!”

“From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Dog bowls offered for water & our dogs dinner. Wines & beers explained. Questions on the menu answered clearly. Our waitress was attentive & chatty but not encroaching on our evening. The atmosphere was friendly & relaxing. However, & most importantly, the food was amazing! Honestly, it was the best chicken & sides we've had for a while. Plenty of food and no unwanted extras. (The 'Olds' really don't like the added salads etc). The food was well cooked, beautifully presented & very tasty. Indeed, we are all gutted that we don't live locally to enjoy this restaurant again in the near future. Also, what a fantastic idea to have a shared space - office by day & restaurant by night! An absolute gem. Well worth your custom!”

“A warm and welcoming pub right on the beach. The Neppy is a 19th century pub and one of only a handful of pubs to be found on the beaches of Britain. Plenty of seating outside but it was a little cold so we sat inside the cosy pub and enjoyed a drink and traditional tasty food.”

Whitstable Oyster Company

“Excellent meal at the Whitstable Oyster Company - it can't get fresher than this! Beautiful location right on the beach and loved reading the history of the building which used to be a storage warehouse for oysters before becoming a restaurant. You can still see the stairs down to the beach level for fresh seafood and fish to be delivered directly. Delicious food and perfect ambiance for a romantic meal for two.”

“Came across this place on walk back to our Airbnb. It was completely empty and we debated going in but we weren't disappointed. The staff were lovely and we had a nice meal of gyozas , short rib croquettes, crispy cauliflower bites ,squid and Asian slaw. Reasonably priced drinks. I would definitely eat there again !”

“First came here a few years ago in the height of summer. It was really busy. After the meal we went to sit on the beach, but had to hang around a while to be served. Might have been been brought the wrong dish after a while ... But this time ... Late November, and it was more chilled. Walked in for Friday lunch, plenty of seats ... to some excellent, unexpected, live music... vocals and guitar ... High and Dry - Radiohead. Great start! Large main courses ... really tasty muscles to start. Cannot find fault. Really enjoyable.”

“My wife and I had a lovely lunch at the Harbour Garden during a recent day trip to Whitstable. It’s in a lovely location, right on the harbour side and has a great indoor/outdoor vibe. It was a beautiful sunny day so we sat in the shade and it was nice that our dog was welcome. The waiting staff were extremely friendly and gave us time to make our decision. The oyster Bloody Mary was really nice and the oyster on the side was a nice touch. The day we were there a live jazz band were playing which added to the relaxed and fun atmosphere. Our food was good but I gave it a four star as it was a bit overpriced. Overall though a really nice place for a lunch in the sun!!!”
