A big shout out to Mark for his help. My elderly father was recently visited by a locksmith from another part of Kent after having his home broken into. After seeing the bill I was concerned about how much it cost. I contacted Porters to get their opinion on the invoice. Sadly he confirmed that the costs were indeed excessive and unnecessary. Mark was so kind providing info and even offered to visit my Dad to check the lock free of charge! Within 4 hours he was there. He took the lock off to discover that the 'cowboy' locksmith had not even changed one of the parts he charged over £150 for. Whilst this has been a horrible situation for us, it has been made that much better by Mark and his fantastic work ethic. Now we have the facts, we can move forward with a stronger case to Trading Standards If ever we need a locksmith in future, I will be using Porters Locksmiths. Thank you so much

Called Ian at Lockwell Security LTD on Monday, concisely detailed the products he offered and following a 2 minute phonecall booked in Thursday to fit two deadlocks and internal and external plates to my new Nissan Primastar van. Arrived to my job site, very tidy and efficient work, locks and plates exactly what I am after, price was not a main factor for me, but his quote was also the most competitive. Very good service. Andy arrived at a time that suited us, when we originally had no idea what time we wanted him over. He replaced 4 locks swiftly and professionally. Multiple copies of keys given. He also helped us new house owners with some other things that were completely out of his purview, which was incredibly appreciated. Barry was able to attend within the hour when my front door lock broke. It turned out to be not a straightforward job so he fixed a temporary lock and ordered the part needed and fixed it very quickly as soon as the part was available. Highly recommend!
