As soon as we walked in we were amazed at how beautiful and calm the atmosphere was. The waiting area definitely has a wow factor! Every single member of staff there were beautifully polite and friendly and they made the whole process so enjoyable which is good as it was my daughter’s first trip to the dentist. I had an initial consultation/registration followed by a hygienist appointment a couple of weeks ago. The practice is lovely and from walking through the doors, it’s obvious it’s not your typical dentist! Remi, Zoe and the nurses were all so lovely and put me at ease straight away. Zoe managed to get all the staining off my teeth aswell in one session, which I really wasn’t expecting! I can’t recommend you enough! I look forward to coming back and starting my clear aligner journey with you soon!

I made my first visit yesterday and my friend Gerry Read recommended me to see Milan. From the moment Sarah answered the telephone to book my appointment I was made to feel welcome and at ease. When I arrived yesterday first impressions really do count and all the ladies I saw in reception were welcoming and I was made to feel immediately relaxed and at ease. I was shown in to meet Milan and he examined my broken tooth, took x rays and then explained every option available to me. He was clear and precise and the outcome was to have the tooth removed today and proceed with a bridge. He made me feel very relaxed, as did the assisting nurse and my tooth was removed painlessly and quickly. I look forward to future visits further down the line and will not hesitate to recommend the practice to all my family and friends.

I always receive exceptional service at Hartley Dental Practice. I am currently being treated by Milan, and he is always attentive, thorough and patiently explains every step of any procedures that I may have to have and makes me very comfortable and at ease with everything. I have been at the HDP for over 50 years under different ownership but for the last 30 years or so I have been seen by Gary Doorman who has excelled and made me very comfortable on each visit. With him now taking a backseat role I have had the pleasure to meet Milan who is continuing to keep the calm on each visit. I have a tooth extraction in the morning. Not something I look forward to but, I feel reassured that Milan will do what’s needed to get us both through to the end.

Visited COCO Dental Practice today and I was so impressed by the improvements made to the surgery, Every member of staff were first class. I went to Eastgate dental practice 2 years ago to see what route would be best to take to help straighten my teeth. I was then introduced to Dr Aman and nurse Amber who were very welcoming and professional. They recommended that I have a brace fitted, and talked me through the whole process from fitting, check ups and cost. I proceeded to having it done and every month went back for a check up and tighten up until they were both happy that my teeth were completely straight and ready to remove my brace. I was given a full hygiene clean and opted to have Enlighten whitening to fully embrace my new look. Again this was done with Aman and Ambers guidance and was well worth the time it has taken to get to where I am now.

Receptionists warm and friendly and welcome you on arrival. My Dentist Yasmin and her support assistant were fantastic doing fillings that took quite sometime. Yasmin spoke to me through the dentistry treatment and as a bonus some of her singing!

Dr Aman and Amber are amazing and very professional.. I had braces to straighten my teeth. The whole process took just 9 months and I am so happy with the results. You learn more when things don't go to plan and a few times my brackets fell off or broke. I could email and they would fit me in asap to fix the problem. For the amount of hours of professional time you have throughout the process, makes the prices very reasonable. My only suggestion is to make the teeth whitening thats offered at the end of the treatment discounted for your clients. Have recommended to friends and family. The wife has already booked up!

I dropped my bottom denture I the sink this morning(Sunday) and it broke in two,oh no what can I do on a Sunday,so I just looked on the internet,I thought I might get on appointment on Monday or Tuesday but no Gast Dental Repairs open Sunday so I rung,got an appointment for that morning.He mended them within 3/4 hour and very good work it was to.I recommend this company ,I will go back to him if I need to.

I saw Stephanie, the hygienist yesterday, and she was brilliant. She talked me through the best treatment as I asked for an air flow but advised just a clean as my teeth did not have any staining. She really takes her time and talks to you whilst doing your teeth which is lovely. My clean was so good teeth look so lovely. Have to add the reception Staff as they are always so helpful and very friendly always greeted with a nice smile.

Victoria and her assistant were very efficient and professional. I have a phobia of dentistry work being carried out on me. So I was extremely hesitant about attending and anxious when I arrived. I have had plenty of poor experiences and can say if you're a nervous person. Head to this clinic. From start to finish, I was made to feel comfortable, made aware of the steps going forward and how they would be carried out. I never felt uncomfortable or under pressure with everything being explained. From their calm and professional manner I have felt compelled to leave this review as I ordinarily wouldn't. I had an excellent experience with dentist Victoria and her assistant Katie. I knew I was ignoring my teeth but didn’t realise I need couple of fillings and a good clean. Price was very good, treatment and advice was excellent. A lady from reception rang me that they haven’t seen me in three years and asked if I like to book an appointment. Thank you for calling me. Amazing experience! I have extreme dental phobia due to past trauma and haven't previously been able to have an appointment with any dentist unsedated. But I lost a filling and broke my tooth this weekend and had to have an appointment to get it fixed. They got me in same day as when I called about it and were so lovely. They went at my own pace and walked me through each step as they went. It was my first ever positive experience at the dentist. Will be coming back any time I need treatment from now on.

First impressions: very attentive, straight talking,explained everything clearly and made sure I understood what was needed. Gave options for all treatment, didn't try to coerce or sway my decisions. After years of very disappointing experience with previous dentist, I feel like I may finally be getting real, effective dental treatment. Have appointments booked for this, and, will let you know how it goes- I'm hoping for good things. I had a difficult extraction under sedation with Dr. Madi Rizal, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience! Dr. Rizal’s skill and calm demeanour put me completely at ease, even though I was quite nervous going in. She explained everything clearly beforehand, which made me feel reassured and prepared for the procedure. Her nurse, Emily, was equally wonderful – so kind, attentive, and calming. She made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and checked in often to see if I needed anything. Together, Dr. Rizal and Emily created such a warm, caring environment that I felt genuinely supported. I’m so grateful to both of them for making what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable. It’s incredibly painful when your elderly parents face serious health issues back home in India, and you feel powerless to help from miles away. Recently, I reached out to my dear friend Dr Maddy here in the UK, though I was hesitant and uncertain if she could even assist. Not only did she agree to help, but she went above and beyond, arranging multiple video calls and doing everything possible to support us remotely. My 69-year-old father had been struggling with complex dental issues for months, worsened by his history with blood thinners and heart problems. Local dentists in his area had differing opinions and prescribed various treatments, leaving us confused and frustrated. Being in the UK, I couldn’t speak directly with his doctors to get a clear picture. But when I finally reached out to Dr Maddy, she listened carefully, gathering all the background information, then organized a video call with my father to understand his condition firsthand. Dr Maddy thoroughly reviewed his X-rays and pinpointed the root cause with remarkable precision. She even consulted with her colleagues to confirm her diagnosis, since the local dentists were unresponsive to collaboration. She then guided us on what to communicate to the local doctors, and thankfully, her advice helped them accept the recommended course of treatment. My father’s recovery began almost immediately, reducing his severe pain by around 50%, and he continues to improve. This experience has shown me just how crucial an accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment can be. Thanking Dr Maddy feels like an understatement—her kindness and expertise have truly made a difference. Heartfelt thanks to you, Dr Maddy, for being there for us.

I called Ashley Lupin to ask a few questions since I have not been to a dentist in a few years and was recommended this practice by friends. I am someone who gets nervous when it comes to visiting the dentist, hence why I have not attended in so long, and when on the phone the young lady (I believe her name was Charlotte) made me feel very calm and relaxed and answered all my questions and even said when I am ready to make an appointment and if she is in she’ll take special care of me and let other staff know about my nerves so they are aware and can make me feel relaxed and at ease. It was nice of Charlotte to go above and beyond for a potential patient, she didn’t need to at all. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

Went to Hoo Dental this afternoon as my 11year old needed a simple procedure. He was extremely nervous about it. We were seen by Mr Sellers who I can't praise highly enough. Mr Sellers put my son at ease, explained everything to him in a wonderful way and got the job done quickly with no fuss. I had my first visit to Hoo Dental Care, I’m absolutely petrified of the dentist, I’d been up since 5 am with anxiety about my appointment at 10.15 am. 1 upper wisdom tooth was extracted, 1 back upper tooth was extracted. All I can say is Mrs Harris and her team are fantastic and put me at ease all the way through. I didn’t feel any of the injections or the extractions. For any nervous patients, I would highly recommend Mrs Harris and her team. Full treatment plan given, I’m so pleased I’ve found this dental practice, pain-free.

So, I’ll start by saying I had a bad experience with a dentist about 13 years ago and never went since. It’s safe to say, I hate going to the dentist, it is completely my Achilles heel. So having said that, I needed to go to a dentist and opted to go private in the hope that I could avoid another traumatic experience, and I couldn’t be more pleased to say that Sarina is genuinely, the best dentist I have ever seen. Despite having a job on her hands that could probably be likened to the cleaning up of the collapsed wing of Notre Dam Cathedral, she managed to make this as discomfort free as could be possible and has gone above and beyond my expectations in every sense. I wasn’t made to feel embarrassed about the poor condition of my teeth and was given professional advice and reassurance throughout my trips and procedures here and I will add at a price that I feel is very reasonable and worth every penny. I cannot stress enough how good Sarina and the rest of the team has been despite me being probably quite an awkward client (did I mention I hate going to the dentist?). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, I’m so glad I went and will not be going anywhere else going forward (and regularly lol). Just fantastic. Thank you so much 🙂

This was my childhood dentist, as I was terrified as a kid and my parents chose this for a previous dentist who has since retired and had a 'child friendly' award. Safe to say she was fantastic. I moved away from the area around 8 years ago and subsequently changed dentists. Since then, I have gone through 4 different practices, all of whom have provided a bad service or recommended unnecessary procedures. Last year I made the decision to come back to the practice and drive the 1 hour (each way) journey to do so. It is so nice to be back at a practice who listen to their patients, are transparent in their recommendations, charge fairly and do not take advantage of the COVID-19 virus with upping their prices drastically. I would 100% recommened this dental practice.

Hadn't been to a dentist in nearly 10 years and had put it off due to being so nervous. Ended up in pain and contacted Thorndike in Rochester, my nearest dentist, who saw me but the experience was so impersonal and cold that it put me right off. After googling and finding really good reviews for Louise Lunness Barnes in Stood, I booked and have not looked back. Serena is amazing and calming and explained everything so well who put a plan put in place. In the meantime my tooth cracked and after visiting the Strood practice for advice was referred to an oral surgeon in Gillingham for an extraction. A week after the extraction I was in agony and was referred back to the Strood practice who saw me within a few hours and said it was infected. Louise, who's practice it is, dressed it, gave me antibiotics and basically was amazing. I cannot speak highly enough of this dentist and would highly recommend. Genuinely caring and very sincere. So thankful to have found this amazing dentist!
