First time visitor after requiring emergency treatment following a bad experience at an NHS dentist; 2 of my fillings needed removing and replacing. From the initial consult to the treatment I was thoroughly impressed! I was welcomed into the practice and everything was fully explained. The dentist was extremely reassuring, explained every step and was very gentle. He considered my previous reaction to the anaesthetic and made adjustments when it was required for the filling. Although I am now paying for private treatment over NHS, it is true that you get what you pay for. I felt in much safer, friendlier hands and will 100% be back for checkups and hygienist appointments. Thank you for making the experience more bearable!

Collected and had my new denture fitted last Tuesday the 25/06/24 . Wow! I am so Pleased with it. I'm not supprised how well it fitted with all the impressions Cameron took and how much attention he took ensuring the fit was right. I have had four detures in the past with only ever having one inprtession each fit. I would suggest to others, let Cameoen and his company's make your a denture if you want the best with exspert care and attention. I've been wearing it for five days so far and was advised I could possible feel some discomfort, so far not so, in fact I don't know I've got it in most of the time. Briiliant. My denture broke while working in London. Could find no one to help me. On my return home I contacted The Deal Clinic who I had used before. The reception lady was extremely helpful and fitted me in the next day. On arrival it was obvious they had very strict Covid rules and both Mr Pond and the reception lady (sorry didn't catch her name) were extremely pleasant and professional and dealt with my problem efficiently. Thank you so much for your kindness and for making it an excellent experience.

Been a patient here roughly a year now. Had 4 appointments with the dentist and 1 with the hygienist. All round great service. Appointments are well communicated. Polite & friendly receptionists, always have a smile on their face. Dentists, nurses & supporting staff are very professional, understanding and accommodating. I cannot recommend Pennypot dental enough. The best dental surgery I’ve been to. They have been fantastic. Quick services, very kind and reassuring. Fantastic staff and the dentist Syed Ahmed has been so helpful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My husband was so very grateful to have been seen today, not once but twice. First appt was 8.50 to assess a broken tooth and then asked to return at 11am to rebuild the broken tooth. Being nervous and anxious whenever I enter this place I did a bit of checking out on the website before hand. I am not the best of patients but found that Dany would make me feel at ease and comfortable. I left with a treatment plan and a lot calmer as to when I arrived, staff pleasant and understanding of my phobia but still a wonderful practice. Thank you Dany for your patience and calming me whilst in your care.

All staff have been amazing. I struggle with anxiety and other things but everyone has been so welcoming/ supportive. I've been seeing Andrew and hes just an absolute god send. Lucy, the hygienist, efficiently assisted by Alison, did a thorough job of cleaning my teeth. What I especially noticed was that there was absolutely no physical pain in the process- a really precision job! I was also given specific advice regarding care for my wisdom teeth. For those that find visiting a dentist practice daunting, there is the bonus of being in a beautiful and ancient building with the best views of the Cathedral! I recommend this Practice.

I have no words to describe the exceptional service I receive from the team, and especially from Dr. Ioannis, the dentist. He took on a patient with numerous dental issues and, with patience and perseverance, is working diligently to improve the situation. So far, I am completely satisfied with their services and care. Another noteworthy aspect is that both Dr. Ioannis and the staff are incredibly polite, kind, and always willing to help.

The Maryland Bridge that Ioannis at Burgate Dental fitted for my daughter has been superb. Along with the initial fitting we have been given a number of free check ups to make sure the Maryland is performing as it should and that there are no issues. I was super nervous as I’ve not had this done before and my teeth can be a little sensitive, but she reassured me the whole time and made the experience great! Thank you so much Burgate dental. Haven't been to dentists in over 35years..went for a check up in October this year and I was shaking I was so scared had to be sick because it's just that I get myself in a state over the dentist. There was nothing to it. He made me feel comfortable and calmed me down a bit. Anyway I got to go back on 13th December I need 2 fillings a tooth taken out and a scalp & clean does anyone know if I will or can have. All work doing at the same time or will it be 1 treatment all on different appointments?? Great reception to so helpful and friendly and sorted my problem there and then..so thank you staff keep up the good work 💯👍👊

Finally found an NHS dentist 😬. Went for routine check initially, was really friendly and helpful, was told I may need a crown, I knew I had blue blood in me! Had quick descale, teeth feel great. Thank you AF dental, I'll be back 👍

The team at this practice are second to none. Having only been to the dentist a handful of times as a child, I was nervous to say the least. However I was put at ease by the reception staff and more so by Antonio. I was conscious of my smile (with teeth) due to their shape but now I can't stop! Would highly recommend again and again, the team are understanding, informative and results are outstanding!

I have always been incredibly nervous when visiting the dentist but from the moment I walked in to this practice I felt at ease. The receptionists were warm and welcoming and I immediately felt in safe hands with Antonio (dentist) and Jo (hygienist). Any anxiety or worries I had were put at ease, especially during my first hygiene appointment where Jo was just brilliant! She kept me calm and was very patient with me and I can confidently say I will have no anxiety for my next appointment. The practice is stylish, clean and comfortable.

Great clinic! Really glad I found this clinic after moving to the area a little while ago. The dentist was excellent - extremely gentle, knowledgeable and gave excellent advice and options for some cosmetic treatments which I have been looking for. The hygienist and assistant were also excellent - gentle, efficient and quick. They both made me feel comfortable and I felt well looked after. I will continue to go here for my dental needs.
