We booked the Old Rectory Estate almost 2 years ago for our wedding. It was the only venue that we viewed and we fell in love with it. The estate, gardens and marquee are stunning and we’re so glad that we found such a magical place to get married. We had an unforgettable and amazing day, as did all of our friends and family. The Old Rectory Estate is the most beautiful venue. We had so many comments from our guests about how lovely the place was and how the gardens are so beautifully maintained. A perfect choice for our wedding ceremony. The marquee was fabulously decorated and a great spot for the evening reception. Ben's bar was a big hit for those who loved a cocktail. Tony, Ben, the family and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We are so glad we chose it for our wedding venue.

What a venue! As a guest of a wedding yesterday, you cannot ask for a more picturesque setting with well manicured, beautiful gardens, all whilst feeling homely and not intimidating to feel comfortable! Huge thanks to the owner Tony for chatting to us and telling us about the property as well as the catering team who were friendly, welcoming and attentive. This is a wonderful property to enjoy in itself, and even better when celebrating a marriage! Keep up the fantastic work!

Surrey Event Services recently provided a fantastic DJ - Jeremy, for our wedding reception. He mixed the tracks seamlessly and we all spent hours happily dancing the night away! He was a lovely guy and set up and tided away very quickly and professionally.

Steve provided the music, lights and a photo mirror for a large black tie family event for us recently. He was 100% professional, delivered everything we ordered, on time to a fantastic standard. We had an age range 15-65 to celebrate an 18th birthday... the music was spot on - dancing all night with out cheesy call outs or encouragement. He seems to be able to read the room and just know what's right. As well this Steve helped out when there was an unexpected hiccup for another supplier - he mucked in, no fuss, no drama. we will definitely use Steve again and can't recommend highly enough. Thank you for making an important family occasion so memorable.

Steve was a joy to deal with from start to finish. We first met at a wedding fayre at Horsley Towers and that’s a great way to both meet your DJ and see what is on offer. He is so easy to talk to and good fun to boot. Our discussions helped us to focus on what music we wanted and even included various versions of the same song we loved and reprised throughout the day. Steve even coped with last minute changes including a sparkling dance floor and extra time to make our day special. On the day the music got everyone up dancing and even included a guess the tune section. Fantastic evening and a great company to deal with. Would definitely recommend.

Full dance floor all night!! Guests ranging from 24 years old to 78 years old and everyone was dancing all night! Steve did a fab job to keep the party flowing from the first dance to the last. We gave him a huge task with such a variety of music, including songs that aren’t everyone’s taste and he made everything flow perfectly building up to certain genres. I want another wedding just for the dancing!! Would highly recommend! X

We couldn’t recommend Helen highly enough. Every step of the way Helen was supportive and guided us through the whole process. After every phone call she put me at ease and I felt a sigh of relief that everything was going in the right direction. The day before our wedding, Helen met us at the venue to do a handover and from that point onwards I was able to totally relax and enjoy this special time with my husband-to-be and all of our family and friends knowing our day was in the safe hands of Helen. The day of the wedding ran so smoothly. There was some confusion about the tableware which was organised by myself, however superwomen Helen took control of the situation and managed to source everything we needed the day of (with a little help from her lovely husband who was the delivery man!). I would not have known anything what had happened BTS until after the wedding, for this we are so grateful. We had the best weekend of our lives and this wouldn’t have been possible without Helen, thank you for everything!

We initially reached out to Green Lily to discuss styling and décor for our wedding, but after meeting Precious, we quickly realised we needed more! After talking through the services, we decided to go for two-week-before coordination, on-the-day coordination, and full styling—and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Precious and Sean brought my 30th Birthday dreams to life! I am not the easiest person to plan a party for as I am very paticular and am a HUGE perfectionist but Precious understood the assignment. We had meetings to discuss my vision and a whatsapp chat to keep an open channel of communication which was perfect. We worked within my budget and Precious helped me make every penny count, It can be so easy to overlook details in planning but everything was thought of. On the week of the party I felt like I had my own PA's I was able to relax and enjoy while all the set up, vendors etc was handled - even last minute runs to the shop. On the night it was INCREDIBLE, the team were so attentive to me and my guests ensuring everything was perfect at all times. I have never attended such a well organised event. Will 10000000% use them again in the future.

Wedding - May 2024. Freya worked with us on our wedding for over 18 months. She created our mood board, and then we used her a month of coordination service. Communication was great, and execution was 10/10 As a perfectionist, and also working in corporate events myself, it was never going to be easy to hand the reigns over to someone else, however Freya made me feel confident that i could. Letting me manage as much or as little as i needed to, but also running oversight over everything to ensure nothing was missed. Friendly, approachable and understanding, Freya just made the whole wedding planning experience smooth. Always on hand to help/ advise should I need it. We booked Freya for our second wedding celebration, which took place at Botleys Mansion in Chertsey, Surrey in June 2023. Freya provided partial wedding planning services from approx. 6 months prior to our wedding (at which point I was still busily planning our first wedding that was due to take place in March 2023 in Los Angeles, so was sometimes slow to reply but Freya remained patient & understanding & continued to stay on top of everything that was required at that stage), and also produced a design brief based on detailed vision I provided, along with my Pinterest boards. Freya was detailed throughout the planning process and was always so pleasant to deal with. Our Zoom calls were always productive & I felt like Freya really understood everything I explained & she was patient and passionate. One the day of our wedding, Freya had an assistant. We're most glad that we also hired Freya to sing my processional song for the ceremony - we truly were SO glad we did. Not only did Freya sound absolutely amazing, she absolutely looked the part. She ensured she was dressed according to the aesthetics of our wedding & was fully self-sufficient in setting up her own PA system. Mirage Parties just organised and planned our wedding day. Julia and Christian were the dream team at the helm, innovating while paying attention to every little detail. With 160 guests, and three tents for ceremony, dinner and dance respectively, it was no easy feat. They kept the flow of people moving, but also keeping smiles on faces, not just of us, but of every single guest! Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Mirage organised a fantastic triple 21st birthday party for us. They were very professional from initial planning, six month prior, through to post party clear up. Their experience and attention to detail was invaluable. The combination of a great venue, delicious food, a fab DJ, and those professional cocktail barmen made the party very special indeed!

Our wedding last year was amazing, in no small part due to the hard work and excellent organisation from Eve and the team at Bespoke Events Management. With so much to plan and coordinate, it was such a stress-relief to have our scheduled catch ups, planning advice their ability to sort out those annoying tricky issues that always come up. We had decided on a Marquee and Hog Roast, with Glamping for guests staying overnight, and Bespoke made it straight forward and easy to see the options, offer advice on sourcing and price, and get all the details exactly as we wanted. During the wedding day, Eve was on hand throughout to make sure everything was running smoothly, wrangling with surly caterers and giving us a fantastic start to our married life! We had a wonderful wedding celebration at Bespoke at Littleton Manor Farm last month. The setting is unique and beautiful, and really made an impression on our guests. Karianne worked with us from the beginning to bring our vision to life. The event came together in a way that felt authentic to us, and went off without a hitch. It's a lot of work planning an event with such a blank canvas, but the end result came out better than we could have imagined.

Where do I start as I’m not sure even a glowing review could ever do this team and the work they do - justice. Having been fortunate enough to attend events run by BEM in the corporate world, it was an absolute no brainer to chose tk work with them to plan our 10th wedding anniversary and it was the best decision we made! The team really do have a unique talent for understanding the brief and they knew exactly which suppliers would be the perfect fit for our party, our guests and our location - our home. We wanted to transport our guests back to Italy where we got married and the team incorporated some magical Italian accents throughout the party, which brought back wonderful memories from all those years ago. From the fantastic Aperol (and limoncello spritz!) bar that everyone loved, to the brilliant DJ and the hugely talented electric violist that kept the party going, every detail was flawless. The wood-fired oven pizzas were on another level, the burrata and Parma ham station a huge hit, and the fee flowing Italian beers went down a treat! It truly was the best party we've ever had, and all thanks to the incredible team who made everything so perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a more special celebration. The 5 stars are all for the wonderful Eve! I honestly can't say enough good things about her — she was absolutely invaluable throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the very beginning, Eve was incredibly supportive, always there to offer guidance and keep me on track. She even helped me pull off a huge surprise for my husband, which was no small feat! On the big day, Eve made sure everything ran smoothly. She was constantly running around, keeping everything organized and handling any hiccups with such calm and grace. And even when the waiters (who were honestly a bit of a disaster — my fault, not Eve’s) needed help, she jumped right in to make sure things didn’t fall apart. If I were ever to plan a wedding again (though I really hope I don’t have to!), there’s no doubt that I would want Eve on my team. She truly made the day unforgettable and took so much stress off my shoulders. I couldn’t have done it without her!

A big thank you to Paul and Danielle. My daughter had her baby shower earlier this year and in typical form, she does not follow tradition. In this I mean that she is having a baby boy but she has not decorated the nursery in blue and nor did she want much of anything in blue moving forward. This set us a challenge for the baby shower. Her color theme is sage green, mustard yellow and burnt orange. Her best friend and I visited the shop a few weeks ago and Danielle was very helpful and came up with the nearest options they had available during these difficult times of stock shortages they are experiencing, they were almost spot on. We also came away with some cute green baby shower napkins for the cupcakes. We were offered a cup of tea by Paul whilst we had the discussion and were shown various examples and options. On collection last Friday, Paul was very helpful in getting them into the car and sending me on my way with advice on how to store them to ensure they would be at their best for the Sunday. I always go to this shop for my kids birthday balloons! Their balloons last for ages! (literally, I end up having to pop them after a month as they're still bobbing around my house!). They have a great variety of not only balloons but cards, decorations, fancy dress, party bag gifts, bouncy castle hire... the list is endless! If they haven't got something you'll be guaranteed they'll know where to get it! I'm lucky to have this shop in the same village I live in, but even if they weren't I'd happily travel! Parking is really easy and staff really friendly! Highly recommend!
