Lovely inn with good beers and excellent food served in a relaxed atmosphere with interesting jugs hung from the ceiling beams.

I was brought here as a child, first time back as an adult. The sun was shining and there was plenty of parking and outside tables, so that's what I took. Fantastic position in the middle of nowhere, the roads are taxing but a delight, you need to keep your eye in front and be courteous. Back to the food, cannot fault it in any way, the portions are large and you are not left wanting. They are dog friendly and even made a special order of two boiled eggs for my (borrowed) dog as he has a restricted diet. The service was very quick and always with a smile. I would recommend booking ahead as it is very popular. You are just 5mins walk to the start of a path to Studley Pike affording fantastic views over the Todmorden valleys. A special mention to the Cumberland sausage especially made for them, with mustard mash, veg and gravy, superb!

Really good food. Plenty of seating outside and inside. Great location for a stop off for food and drink if you are hiking too.

We had a wonderful, delicious meal and the service (Angie) was impeccable- we had a party 9 and she was friendly, efficient & so helpful in splitting our bill for us!! The food is SPICY so make sure you request mild if you aren’t up for it! We had the papaya salad & Green Curry with Tofu and sticky rice!

Casta decided to finish off his day in Toddy with a visit to this bar cum restaurant. The restaurant is upstairs, the ground floor is a bar with three real ales on handpump. Had a pint of local brewery Eagles Crag Pale Eagle. Good bar.

It's quite fun, but the lack of floor staff when it gets busy means you should be ready to bide your time. The spicier dishes seemed to be all burn for little flavour, but we still had a good meal

Been twice in the past couple of months because the food is absolutely gorgeous! The food is fresh and very tasty, I had the butter chicken and it's so so good. It's a relaxed atmosphere and great for having a catch up with my best friend. And the staff are lovely, very friendly! I really hope this place gets the business it deserves. I don't live local, visiting family, but I will definitely return when I can.

I have never liked any of the curries in restaurants or takeaways in Todmorden or Calderdale to fair . I always go to a certain restaurant in Manchester or make my own. Last night I was so happy with my beautiful curry and rice, we ordered two different ones and some small plates. The highway reminded me of a beautiful curry I had at a wedding once and the rice flavoured with cloves ,just perfect . I can’t wait to try some more. Thankyou for a wonderful meal

Didn't eat in, got a takeaway. Food was amazing! Had curry, chips, starters, poppadoms, chapati and they were all cooked to perfection. Best curry in town now. The only downside was they didn't update the status so we didn't know when it was ready.

We first noticed Hungry Flame in December because of their Christmas display. Last night while driving past my boyfriend was hungry so decided to stop for takeout and I am so glad we did. We were going to wait until we got home and order takeout as we usually stick to what we know. We had dopiaza which was so fresh and tasty, garlic naan, rice, dips and chapatis. It was so good and the portion size was perfect for us. We live a couple of towns over but always drive past. We will be going in soon for a dine in experience. My boyfriend said it looks good inside. So clean and the owner made him feel really welcome. I would 100% definitely recommend.

Awesome micropub in the centre of Todmorden, a few footsteps away from the marketplace. Five cask ales, two keg beers and various spirits served in excellent condition.

Making my first ever visit to Toddy. Casta accompanying me on this visit. A short walk from the station we started at The Pub. Lovely location. Seven of eight handpumps in use on our visit. Decided on Salamander Mudpuppy 4.2% best bitter at £4.40. Casta on Victoria lager from Malaga. A simple three room bar with a super pub dog. Very friendly pub. Loads of keg beers etc.

Absolutely a great place. Good choice, including gluten-free beer, great atmosphere, friendly staff. There was no cctv on the outside of the pub, and I just had £6000 of ebikes stolen, only the lamppost to chain the bikes to. So if you are a cyclists please ask if you can secure your bikes inside. Or just don't go. Gutted

Lovely Sunday lunch, booked to avoid disappointment. Quick friendly service, good selection of beers and wine. Reasonably priced for what you get.

Had lunch here yesterday for my Husband's Birthday. Food was amazing and would highly recommend Chicken and chorizo in white wine sauce. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the views are stunning. Will be recommending to all my friends and family. Could not fault anything and will definitely be returning 😊

I won a competition for the sharing Sunday Yorkie board , the sharing board was beautiful all food piping hot and the meat in the wraps just melted in your mouth . Kids meals were perfect too . Staff lovely and very helpful, 100% recommend to anyone .

New owners only been there a couple of weeks (June 24). Just started food Wed-Sun 12-7. Good food with generous portions. Great value for money and a nice relaxing atmosphere even when it's quiet. Cracking little pub x

Awesome place, and one of the best venues in Tod. Great atmosphere, very nicely done, and just a good place to frequent.

We visited to watch an Amateur Wrestling League who were performing in the function room beyond the bar! The venue is a cool converted mill and is deceptively hidden at first glance (until you realise where the entrance is on your first visit) They serve Bumbu, which is one of the best alcohols and seldom found outside of Weatherspoons so 10/10 for that alone!

Stayed over night and rooms were really a good standard and reasonably priced. Really good atmosphere inside with quirky deco, and situated in the heart of Todmorden on the main road so you can enjoy the world going by if you choose to sit outside with your drinks

Casta spotted this pub as we left the market. Seven outdoor tables in front of the pub.. all busy as the August sun made an appearance. Clearly a live music venue with a stage for acts. Lovely central bar with a service area to the rear (shaded) beer garden. Casta spotted a new Rochdale brewery for me to tick off. Whitworth Valley. Had an excellent American Pale Ale. Food looks yummy, pies and giant Yorkshire puds. Blends original Burnley Masseys brewery facade with eclectic Castleford Tigers themed interior/music. Three pubs into Toddy and I love it.

Delicious food! Had the Knob chip wrap from their brand new menu and was devine would reccomend! Proper home cooked chips and not the frozen chips! And at a bargain price of £3.50! Lovely relaxing atmosphere with very good bartenders and Chris the owner is very welcoming as well!

Fantastic Dog Friendly Pub, Terrific Atmosphere with the Retro Decor, Proper Background Music and Seating, Amazing Value Food and Really Delicious Large Portions. Staff are Really Friendly and Helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Todmorden, you won't be disappointed.

Good thwaites pub serving a range of cask and keg beers. Open from twelve serving hot drinks and food. Does Show sports on request. Kid friendly. Large flat carpark which is ideal for a stop over.. obviously phone ahead and spend money in the pub. About 5 minute walk into town. Recommended spot for a pint and to visit the town.
