Excellent pizza and nice beer on draft too. Couldn't ask for much more ... Even let us bring the pooch in while we ate the delicious pizza. Thin based stone baked style pizza was amazing. Not sure what the IPA was but that was very nice too. Great venue.

Delicious pizzas - with loads of vegan options. My wife said the pizzas came around in good time and the staff were attentive too. Couldn’t fault, but perhaps they can grab some paper bags to take away leftovers (my friend and I ended up with 2 cardboard boxes which we didn’t mind!). For 2 pizzas and 2 drinks, you’ll pay £36. Good weekend treat within saltaire town centre!

Absolutely stunning pizzas. We've visited a good few times (from Salford) and its worth the drive! We always order a good 4/5 pizzas and just enjoy the goodness that arrives at the table. The dough and ingredients used are of the highest standard. The topping combinations are stunning. Everything is meticulously thought out and tested before it hits the menu so you can rest assured that whatever you order is going to taste amazing. Front of house staff are a delight. Very friendly service without being intrusive on your dining experience which is very rare in my opinion. Simon and his team are always happy to see us and vice versa. Can't wait for my next meal! Keep up the fantastic work!!!

I've waited several months before I wrote this review. Been several times now and each time every pizza and corresponding toppings have all been well balanced, flavourful and perfectly cooked. It's an open kitchen, so you can see them at work too ! They may not have a fancy pants, copper glad 100 thousand pound oven.... but what they do have is passion, creativity and a respect for ingredients. I watch them handle those dough pucks, light and pillowy with real life in it. Don't expect thick bases etc...you have to appreciate their particular style and allow the flavours and Chewiness of the dough to make your taste buds tingle. I love the simple, yet well thought out interior which reflects the chefs personality. The service is very friendly and non-judgemental. The team work well together and are very helpful. The atmosphere is great and they have a well thought out drinks selection. I'm not sure what else I can say, suffice to say it's a real Gem, worth a special journey for sure ! They are also quite flexible if you want to substitute bases etc. It's one of the best pizza joints in the Yorkshire for sure. Obviously from my review, you will have noted that I'm a Pizza lover !

The service is fantastic and the staff are friendly and professional. They clearly care about their work. The pizzas are top notch. Simon, the chef, is passionate about delivering authentic, delicious food with the best quality ingredients. It's great to see a small, independent, local business doing so well and I'm delighted to support it by returning again and again (why wouldn't I, Il Pirata pizzas are the best)?
