We popped in at lunchtime on a Friday after being recommended and had a great time! Bar staff were friendly and quick to serve, and the cheesesteak session fries were INCREDIBLE. Honestly, one of the best steaks we’ve had recently, and it was served on a bed of the cheesiest chips ever. Will definitely be back.

Having been a patron of Tokyos every Wednesday night for the Majority of 2010, 2011 & 2012 I can honestly say that it’s exit and reincarnation is a hundred times better. I left HUD over a decade ago when I finished University and returned to discover that the dingy rock pub had become a glorious alternative club and I love it! The event hall upstairs hosting world-famous bands and events such as wrestling is a great boon, and whilst I do mourn the loss of my old teenage hangout I celebrate it’s new life as an awesome place that I love to drink and eat at! The menu fluctuates from Great to Pretty Good depending on what gimmick is on currently (Veganuary isn’t for me, sorry) but it’s fairly priced a good quality throughout!
