Had my first order from here in Saturday evening . My daughter and myself were amazed at the quality of the food we ordered. Beas taken aback when I ordered lamb chops and I was asked how I would like them cooking!!! Needless to say they were fabulous, restaurant quality. Delivered with a smile too. I will certainly be ordering from them again. Thank you Greek Grill.

We've been a few times, and every time, there's never been an issue with the food. The staff and the establishment is great. The food took a while but this is reassuring to know that its cooked fresh. The Greek style potatoes are lovely. Overall a great place.

The mixed grill was the bomb- All the meats were cooked perfectly and the lamb chop was a quality sourced offering- would have been nice with another dip option however the tatziki that came with it was great. The chip game may need tweaking- a little over done but not the main event so didn’t impact the meal. The little pizzas are a great accompaniment too or even for kids the perfect order.

First time having a LAB burger and my god it was damn good ... enjoyed every last bite and if my stomach would have allowed I would have happily had every burger on the menu! Really great vibe to the place, excellent customer service and top noth food and drink at a great price ... I shall be returning!

LAB bar and kitchen has some amazing food, and great drinks to offer, but the restaurant is new, and as such there’s a few teething problems, if you go later in the evening we’ve found that the take out deliveries may go out before the food for tables in house, but that’s to be expected when transitioning from take away service to a seated and takeaway service… but the wait is worth it, the burgers are amazing, and the loaded fries and tater tots are incredible. You can take dogs inside which is brilliant. I’d advise you to take a warm jumper or coat as it’s a big place which is hard to heat. There’s no signage up yet so you might miss it walking past, but it’s 100% worth finding and waiting for, and I’m sure they’ll iron out these creases. Been twice now, and will deffo be coming back.

We love this place! Will not be having a burger from anywhere else! The guys there are top blokes always a welcoming smile only the food beats the service! Just had the new frankenburger, this thing is a beast! like the name suggests, absolutely gorgeous, you definitely need to skip a meal to finish it! But oh my god its worth it!

A great place for Sunday lunch. Not as crammed as some nearby places, so we didn't feel "hemmed in". Nice to see a proper pub area where people could simply go for a few pints. A very friendly dog, too.

Tried here today for the first time, and had Sunday lunch. It was delicious! Lovely food, great kids menu, reasonable prices, and the benefit of a stunning beer garden with a bouncy castle for our daughter. We will be back. What a hidden gem!

Friendly local with good food. We had a lovely Sunday dinner. I’m veggie and enjoyed the nut roast. Plenty to eat and we could get more veg if we needed-we didn’t. Red cabbage was gorgeous!

First time for me, will definately be back. Tasty hot food( I did have two portions of peas as my stepmum doesn't eat hers!!) Lovely helpful staff, nice and warm inside on a cold day. good outdoor area with lights and I think heaters. Dog friendly. Perfect,thank you very much.

Spent our Xmas dinner here, for a twist on the traditional festive dinner. The food was very good, with one of the chutneys in particular being a really amazing take on what most restaurants usually call Lime & Chilli pickle. Curry came in a bucket which was amusing and nicely presented! The set menu for Xmas was a little limited and was also £50 per head which seamed a little pricey, although I appreciate Western Hindus likely celebrate Christmas too so additional costs on xmas are to be expected. I’d recommend Velvet Lounge to anyone seeking rich flavours and good quality food

Heard about this pub over the years. First time visiting yesterday, loved it, just like going back in time when pubs were pubs with heart and soul. Loved the interesting items and decor, unique. Lovely atmosphere for 10 of us dining, felt personal and really homely. Tasty home cooked meals served by very friendly, welcoming and warming owners and staff. Thank you Charlotte

The whole vibe of this place is lovely. They seated a group of 7 well. I came here last 8 months ago and I thought I must come back. So I did. The food is terrific, the staff here are lovely and the music is fun. I had the mutton curry with white rice which was delicious. Thank you for a great night!

Called in on the off chance they had a table and was in luck. Great choice of food on menu. We went for mutton curry and chicken curry with rice and peas. Both were very tasty not too spicy very flavoursome dumplings were light and fluffy. All staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely go again

Well we thought we would try something different and this such a fantastic place we will definitely be back. The menu has so much that I changed my mind four times 😁 Everything was so fresh with such flavour and a good atmosphere to complement a fine well cooked meal. Really impressed with this place.. nice decor, great atmosphere, good service and the food was amazing.. we had curry mutton with rice and peas, peppered steak with fries, and the rum punch cocktail was definitely a winner. Will definitely be going back soon. Highly recommended.

I love Al Nawab. Always fabulous food to take away or eat in. Very good sized portions, everything freshly cooked. Chicken sizzler is my favourite with lovely large chunks of chicken. You can ask for curries to be more or less spicy and the owners lovely son gives good recommendations. I have had curries from other local restaurants, but they are not as good quality and way more expensive. I like the fact you can take your own booze as it is obviously much cheaper and for anyone who doesn’t realise it isn’t licensed, a quick stroll to Tesco Co-op or Lidl can get you something to wash it all down with. Lovely family business great food and staff, highly recommended.

Oh, wow. Off the back of a FB recommendation by Richard Tree, we decided to treat my father and also my brothers visiting friend from the US to a nice pub lunch at the Airedale Heifer, Mirfield - I rang ahead to check if we could get a table for half two. As it happened, the doors opened shortly before then and Ashley, the brand new landlady, was on her own, looking after the venue which she had only just taken on board, running the place. She warmly welcomed us, gave us a background to her taking on the venue and then took to the kitchen to cook a monster order we gave her. Me and Paul had the Mega Meat Platter, Carol had the Buttermilk Chicken Burger and Caroline had the five starter dishes deal - a lot of food for the lot of us with any excess heading to dads small plate to nibble at. While the Platters were all incredible, and Carol gave the chicken burger a solid thumbs up, the standout for us was the Fried Cauliflower Wings with Ginger and Soy Sauce - truly moreish and I couldn’t stop picking at them, even when the stunning meats had filled me up (the chicken was a highlight, utterly buttery). The Airedale is a great venue with a cracking bar, a marvellous menu and a very warm welcome: highly, highly recommended.
