Stopped off for a bite to eat whilst out walking the dog. So glad I did. Chicken club on toasted Tiger bread and a cheeky glass of wine. Food was delicious and staff were lovely. Sat outside with the pooch. Perfect. Will definitely be back 😊

We enjoyed a Sunday roast here. The food was nice, the portion size was okay and it was well presented. The amount of vegetables was a little tight tho, 1 small plate between 4 of us. The dessert blew us away, 1 of the best desserts I've had in a pub. The cookie dough with ice cream, definitely try it if you enjoy the sweet stuff. The actual pub is a beautiful traditional old style pub with lovely stone bricks on the inside. Service was friendly. Will return to try 1 of their famous burgers

This has now become our favourite place to eat. I had seen facebook posts, and the food looked nice, but we just hadn't got around to going. We have been twice now and tried different things. The first time , we had the pulled beef baguettes with big chunky chips. The chips were gorgeous, I love home cooked chips as opposed to frozen fries. There was so much meat in the sandwich that I had to ask for something to take it home in, and I finished it off later at home. The second time we tried to go on a Sunday but it was really busy and they couldn't do walk ins so it's best to book for Sunday dinner by the looks of it. The third time, we both tried the steak pie dinner with mash and vegetables. The meat just melts in your mouth. The mash was very creamy, and the vegetables were cooked just right. The food was very hot and tasted freshly made, unlike some places where you can tell it's been sat under a heat lamp. The beef gravy was made with meat juices instead of granuals. It was so nice, just how my parents used to make it for our Sunday dinners when we were kids. I definitely highly recommend going. Well, actually, maybe not, I font want it too busy that we can't get in ourselves, haha! The staff are really nice and friendly, there's a good-sized car park around the back. Some interesting decorations and items are displayed. They also have chickens at the back of the car park that you can look at. Reasonably prices, especially considering the quality of food and service you get. We've paid more and got mediocre food and terrible service at other places. So far, the only fault we have is that it's so nice that you can't always just drop in on a whim. We're looking forward to trying another option on the menu on our next visit. There's also two nice outdoor seating areas for when the weather is good. One at the front overlooking the lovely village and another at the side in a decking area.

Had a superb Sunday lunch there yesterday, although there was a temporary power cut in the bar the staff were outstanding and the food was truly delicious a definite 100% recommendation from me 👍

We came for a Christmas meal as a group of friends. The place is beautifully decorated for Christmas on a classy way. The food was lovely the meat cooked to perfection. The staff were so busy but nothing was to M ch trouble. Everyone said that they would be back. Thank you for creating a great atmosphere.
