Found Josh, from Mullockslocks.com, through an advert in a local community group. Discovered a problem with a UPVC window lock that would not open, made a call to Josh who listened to my problem, had an idea of the issue, then made an appointment to visit my home. The appointment was not an emergency and Josh came out a few days later, he arrived at the planned time and also messaged me before hand to confirm he was on his way, he reviewed the job and quoted a good price, at that point I expected to make another appointment for the works but Josh said he could do it now and went to his van for his tools and parts. As the windows was in the locked position he needed to removed the double glazed unit and the surrounding seals. That’s when the issues started, the lock mechanism was absolutely seized up, it took more time than expected and the use of a hacksaw and drill to eventually remove the locking mechanism. After that it was an easy job for Josh to fit a new locking mechanism and replace the window unit as good as new. Josh left the area clean and tidy and removed all the waste materials. I expected to be charged extra for the additional time spent doing the work but Josh said the price was as originally agreed. I will definitely use Josh if I require any more UPVC works, and I would highly recommend his services. Thank you Josh
