We had a perfect stay here, picturesque. Bought our deal as an all inclusive package so enjoyed afternoon tea and evening meals + breakfasts. The only down side was having to pay extra to use the spa. Spa was nice but also small.

We came for a spa day mid week. The staff are all wonderful, couldn’t do enough for us. The pool was warm, clean and not too busy, the outdoor hot tubs have a lovely view over the lake. Towels, robes and slippers provided and lunch with fizz was lovely. Would definitely come again. Only reason for 4 star was the toilets could have been cleaner- bins emptied more frequently too. But on the whole a good 4 star.

We went with friends for a 2 night New Year package, which we included a 3hr Spa package with hot tub, swimming, and afternoon tea with prosecco. The hotel was lovely, great food, friendly staff, individually designed spacious bedrooms and in beautiful surroundings. The New Year Gala dinner had a great atmosphere, helped along by an amazing DJ . Thank you.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Situated on the world's first nature reserve, the location is incredible and our room was outstanding. We did make a video review too which you can find on our Youtube channel 'The Wanderlust Way is back'

We had a one night spa break with breakfast. The location and genuinely lovely staff made this such a special break. The evening spa experience was so nice. Really relaxing as only about 8 visitors in total. Having our own outdoor jacuzzi was amazing and we ended up spending a lot of the visit in there. You can take drinks from the bar out with you too. The pool was lovely as was steam and sauna. We don’t use the changing rooms as our room one only one flight of stairs from the spa. As part of our spa deal we had a complimentary drink and a meal from the bar menu. The lovely pool guy brought it over the moat so we could eat in our bar robes. Food was really delicious. As was breakfast - all hot food made to order which seems a rare treat in most hotels. Perfect scrambled eggs, amongst the best I’ve ever had! Rooms are perhaps a little tired but really spacious and room 1 had breathtaking huge windows over looking the lake and an amazing walk in shower and separate luxury bath. Bed super comfy too. We walked the path round the golf course only to find out half way round that we shouldn’t have! Lots of well signposted walks from the hotel though.
