We ate here for a family meal. The service was good, good selection on the menu, good choice of drinks and the food was fabulous. The bar is very tastefully decorated to reflect the history of the building. The food was very good, with large portions, hot, fresh and tasty. It was a bit pricey, but it was Wednesday and had 15% off, so it wasn't too bad.
Absolutely lovely! I had the duck which I would highly recommend! (Rare of course). My better half had beef Wellington which was gorgeous! The desserts were fantastic! Brilliant staff and very polite. All around a beautiful dining experience 11/10 Thank you 😊
This was the first time for us at The Mill of the Black Monks. Manager Julie and her colleague Chloe we're on shift tonight, they we're both very welcoming on arrival, showed us to our seats, we asked if we could have a couple of drinks before we ordered they we're more than accommodating with this we did not feel rushed at all. We asked for information on the menu as to recommendations, Chloe knew her menu and advised on dishes and she recommended some amazing choices, we both had amazing meals. Chloe was very professional, and she showed amazing customer service, she cared for us throughout our time here, she is a great asset to your team.
This was our second time visiting The Mill of the Black Monks and what can I say wow wow wow the food again was second to non. Myself and my partner have decided that going forward we will be visiting the Mill for our regular date nights the food was absolutely amazing again and the staff go above and beyond to make sure that the customers are satisfied, and have everything they need. The atmosphere is amazing the restaurant is very intermate and a lovely setting. It's a very relaxing environment, absolutely love the place. Thank you Julie, Chole and Lee without you guys it wouldn't be possible, be proud of what you've achieved. Amazing. See you soon
This was our first time visiting the Mill of the Black Monks (aside from the amazing Christmas dinner collection we had). We were blown away by every aspect of the experience - the historical building, the friendly service and the delicious food. We couldn't fault it, and will certainly be returning!
