Not eaten here in years but heard they are now dog friendly so tried it last night. So lovely, great welcome and our dog was very comfortable at our corner table. Varied menu and everyone loved their meals. Very generous portions and we all had to admit defeat and let some food go back. That doesn’t often happen!. The coffee was a particularly good blend too.

Since it's refurbishment, I've visited The Famer's Boy a couple of times, and, it's fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful, the ales are top notch and the food is incredibly tasty and fresh. The pork roast is great (just a bit more gravy please!). A lovely pub for a drink or food (or both). Recommended!

Visited for a birthday lunch, on a Saturday. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Good was delicious - smash burger and sausages and mash, locally sourced and cooked perfectly. Lovely point of Guinness as well as many other beers available. Will definitely be heading back!

I hadn't been to the farmers boy in a very long time, over 20 years I'd say. I was meeting up with friends and we picked our old haunting ground. We ordered lots of small plates for our table. 8 small plates, 1 dessert and 4 drinks came to £80. Food was ok, bit samey. Service was spot on. Place looked and felt great. Would I come back, probably, but I'd try a different meal choice. All in all a lovely evening.
