A lovely small italian restaurant, friendly staff and excellent foods 😋

Our first experience dining here was delightful! Every step of the way ; booking and the end of the meal was perfected by the personable service from every single member of staff including the owner! Took my mother in law for her birthday and they even prepared a birthday sign on the wall, good wine and delicious , very generous portion of food! So well done and thank you for everything! Have no doubt recommending La Cantina! Thank you again! We'll definitely return.

The restaurant has a cosy feel with warm lighting and very welcoming. Friendly and attentive staff. The food was excellent, ordered from the specials board. My first visit and will definitely come again really enjoyed 👍🏼

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a fantastic birthday celebration at Riva! A special thank you to Elainia, the Sicilian lady who served us—her service was prompt, friendly, and made the evening truly memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, and they even sang “Happy Birthday,” which was such a lovely touch. The cocktails were superb, and the personable service throughout the night made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend Riva for great food, drinks, and outstanding hospitality.

We celebrated Mother's Day in Piccolo and we really enjoyed the food. It was very busy lunch time so atmosphere wasn't great but lovwly food and good service compensated everything. 5*pizza, excellent wine and good desserts.

Amazing prawn bruschetta very well balanced with chilly and olive oil. A superb ensemble to start your dinner and to finish off a stressful week. Beautiful and relaxing place managed by a vibrant Italian staff who look after you with the smile always on! We will come back for sure!!!!!

We were a large group with multiple families and several children including a baby. We were well greeted and well attended by the waitress and waiters. They ensured the food was right and everyone was happy. The food was good and most agreed that they had enjoyed the meal. It was more expensive than I imagined and not sure the extra expense was justified for myself. I would still recommend the place for the odd occasion.

Good 4stars. Lovely relaxing spa and dinning experience. Very friendly staff. Better than expected for a hotel on industrial estate. It doesn't look or feel like a business type hotel.

Brilliant 3 course dinner experience and the bar was brilliant, the bar tender was so helpful he even insisted on brining our drinks over to us from the bar!

Eaten here three times even though we're from far side of Leeds. First visit, they'd run out of spicy sauce, so member of staff went out into retail park and bought some for me to have with my meal. Staff are that friendly and efficient! We take our large dog in with us, they're welcomed. Food is good, freshly cooked and comes quickly. Decor and atmosphere very good also. Can't believe anyone walks past this place to go to bog standard chicken joint next door!

Had a fantastic meal at Caballero Lounge ! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for any occasion. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

It's been a while since I have visited a harvester. I was warmly welcomed in with a trainee and an experienced member of staff. It seemed like it was the first few shifts for the trainee, but he took our order and drinks very well. We dined on the lunch menu, which was very good value for money, 2 courses, and the free salad bar for around 13 pounds, I believe. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the burger was juicy. The salad seemed relatively fresh for an open salad bar. I would recommend to people going for a cheap lunch.

Just been in for lunch, my aunt had scampi and chips which she said they was fabulous as always. I have the 10oz sirloin steak, cooked to perfection medium rare by Sam. Our server was Catherine, very friendly and helpful, we will be definitely coming back. Thank you guys 😊

Rang up to ask if they were still serving food and got a table booked for 10mins time after being to the northern lights . Not been to a harvester for a long time seen as our local closed down .wow we wasn't disappointed table staff was excellent. Food was spot on ribs just melted of the bone 2 of us had the barbecue and 1 of us had honey all. lovely. Fish and chips for the last person was really enjoyed. Even though it's a distance from home we would defo travel. Nice to see free salad bar is still running

Reasonably quiet for a Friday night but really enjoyed our time there. Given a lovely corner booth with plenty of room for 5 of us. Meals were all cooked well by Olly, he knows how to cook a mixed grill, and everything was served beautifully by Catherine. She made sure we had our drinks, that the food was good, told us where drinks station was and salad bar, very good server, couldn't have done any more for us. She even sang happy birthday to me when presenting me with a cake, (nice voice Catherine). Will certainly be returning there and hope to get same server, and chef.

Me and my mum had the delightful experience of a ‘tipsy tapas’ we upgraded ours to the cocktails… wow what an amazing experience! The tapas was huge! Easily enough to feed more. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! The cocktails were wonderful! The service was great, only got half way down drinks before being asked if we wanted another cocktail making. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be going again!

Went with the girls for a Christmas catch up. Fab food, great selections and beautifully decorated.

One of the best beef burger in town which they call it SMASH BURGER..! As a lover of cheese burgers, I was looking for a a spot to satisfy my craving of cheese burger. My first visit to this eatery was promising and and I wasn’t disappointed! The food was delish, high quality and hot. The ratio of meat to salad / sauces is perfect. The patty meat is fresh and you can feel freshness of in-house beef easily. Price to quality ratio is good. Portion sizes are adequate. I love the fact that the drinks they offer got nice range. Customer service I received was great. Would highly recommend. And the team on food preparation was quick n courteous. I ordered chicken dirty fries too. And honestly they were loaded with chicken n cheese in combination with taste of nacho n jalapeños made them yummy and portion size was satisfying. Overall, a satisfying burger experience with a classic American feel.

The food here is top, lots of good deals for box meals etc, portion sizes very generous and lots of choices for sauces, toppings etc. Very generous staff too.

I have dropped by Smash on the way from work and was positively surprised by quality, speed and friendly staff. I ordered classic smash meal deal without jalapeños which was really tasty. One of the better burgers I had a chance to eat and alright loaded fries. I have also learnt that everything here is halal which is big plus. If you plan to eat in, it is just a standard set up of few tables and seating which works just fine. Update 06/03/24: I have decided to try the chicken burger and it was really nice but I prefer the classic smash. Added photos of chicken burger eaten on the way. Update July 24: since the update back in March, I have been at smash official couple more time and I must say that the good taste of burgers stays constant. I have recently tried standard meal and I must say that the chips that come with it are better than the loaded cheese chips. Definitely a must have! Added photos from last two visits.

New landlord and doing a great job. Friendly atmosphere and cosy pub - no food being served as yet but new menu is due in early December, can't wait to go and try it.

Warm, cosy place on a chilly day. Great service, very accommodating to dietary needs. Good value and range of food choices. Team are friendly and welcoming. Nice background tunes. Came with parents for my 60th Birthday. A very enjoyable lunch, will come back.

Updated Dec 2024 - still dog friendly/, well done. A lovely local in an expanding village setting. Polite staff and above average portions of food - order with care if you only want a light bite ! Look out for special events - Halloween and Christmas 😁

Impromptu Thursday evening dinner. While there were a good few diners in we were still greeted well and offered a table. The manager was lovely & chatty and the young waiter had been in employment with them 8 years so clearly a lad who liked his job which was nice to know. The decor is wonderful even from the entrance- very opulent. The menu was very accommodating- lots of veggie, meat & fish options and a comprehensive drinks menu to accompany. We chose the courgette & feta fritters and halloumi salad with the Mixed grill, tempura vegetables and creamed chilli spinach to follow. Service was attentive enough without being too much and the food service time was average- we probably waited a little longer than I expected for our main but it was a mixed grill all cooked to order! The starters were lovely, nice accompanying dressing on the halloumi and tasty fritters. All the meat on the mixed grill was cooked well, very tasty. The cous cous on the platter was a little dry but mixed with the sauces provided it helped. I would have liked another bit of bread- everything came in a 2 except the bread! The tempura veg was so delicious. The chilli creamed spinach was a let down- luke warm and more sauce than spinach which is a shame as the bit that we got was nice. Overall we enjoyed our visit. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in high end decor. I can see this place becoming a real gem for Garforth. £61 for 2 starters, mixed grill + 2 sides, a beer and a bottle of water I think was more than reasonable. There are private dining areas for large parties which is a good idea. Looking forward to going back again and sampling some of the cocktails in the gorgeous looking bar area.

First time eating here, food was exceptional, decor was brilliant and the staff couldn't have been better. Izgara has to be one of the best looking restaurants in Yorkshire. Really well designed, spacious and smart. Thoroughly clean throughout, the decor was fantastic too. Food - amazing flavours, great portions and very good quality ingredients. Some of the best lamb chops I've had in a long time.

Amazing food and service from the second you walk in. We were greeted on arrival with someone taking our coats and taking us straight to our table. Really impressed with the atmosphere and decoration of the inside. Little finishes in the loos with high quality hand wash/cream is also a nice luxury touch. The food was big portions for both me and my husband (starters & mains) so not sure why other reviews have stated this as it was the complete opposite! You could tell high quality ingredients have been used in the meals, as everything was so tasty, and to see the chefs cooking on the huge grills from your table, made it even more impressive. Service was quick but not rushed and it really felt like a "finer" dining place rather than your average restaurant in Garforth and somewhere perfect for a special occasion or a date night. Overall a fantastic experience and can't wait to return!

It's banging. I reckon they've addressed some of the concerns of the early reviews well. You'll see that most recent reviews are 5 star. Portions were great, and I am a hungry man. They have their own dry ager for steak and 5 beers on tap, surely you can't say fairer than that? Mixed grill was an absolute delight and for the superior quality, it was great value for money too. Service and atmosphere were lovely. A much needed gem for Garforth.
