I took my 10yr old son here today and was our first visit but definitely not the last. The food, drinks and service were all fabulous 👌 As a single parent I really appreciate when we are treated just as lovely as the bigger bookings. I can't recommend highly enough 😀

If calsberg made pizzeria’s !! Absolutely fantastic, by far the best pizzas for miles around. Great staff, very polite, helpful, happy and makes you feel like a valued customer. Prices are good, I haven’t been anywhere that can make pizza this delicious. I won’t use anywhere else from now on !!

Excellent pizzas in a relaxed, chilled out setting. There's a small selection of starters and a great range of Italian, New York style and Calzone pizzas. Prices are reasonable and food is really good quality. Tucked away on Rothwell high street, it's really easy to miss as the restaurant and an actually upstairs.

Everything you could possibly want from a pizza place, cool setting, perfect pizzas and reasonable prices. The food came really quickly and was so fresh and delicious, the service was also super attentive! Definitely recommend!

I traveled quite a distance to try this Chinese from East Leeds, as it was highly recommended. I have to say, it was absolutely unbelievable. We ordered Salt-N-Pepa chicken, salt and king pepper prawns, fried rice, Peking ribs, and some curry sauce. It was £30 well spent, and I highly recommend this place if you enjoy Chinese food. Personally, I eat Chinese food every week. I suggest ordering over the phone and arriving, as we did, to avoid a 40-minute wait due to how busy this place tends to be.

Fab Chinese food and I eat a lot of Chinese! 5 star hygiene rating too Salt n pepper chicken, special chow mein and curry sauce were all delicious well worth the 11 miles round trip

Great little pub in Altofts. Really enjoyed the pizzas, good range of beers, trad and craft. Friendly staff, good with the kids. Nice outside space when the weather is good.

Had broken down on the road sadly in my black golf. From 7pm to closing time at 10. Hospitality left me speechless as we’re inviting and friendly and very helpful. They had lemonade and Coke and snacks such as chocolate and crisps which didn’t leave me felt out. Genuine loved pub run by some great people worth a visit. Thanks so much again if owners are reading this.

So impressed that you offer vegan options and cater for all types of food intolerances. A*** Alice was absolutely delighted with her vegan pizzas, such a warm and wonderful welcome for us all. Great small traditional pub. We were in the left side which I think was the Lounge. Very clean and tidy, drinks were a great price with plenty of deals on too. Can’t comment on food as we didn’t have any but the menu looked great with a decent selection and also the prices were pretty decent. Plenty of parking outside too The lady behind the bar was very nice and friendly too which was lovely

Popped in for lunch with my mum, aunty and cousin. Had a really lovely meal, food all freshly cooked. Sampled a dish from the new menu, lambs liver, irish mash and spring veg, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Very friendly attentive staff. Easy access for my elderly mum who has problems with mobility. Will definitely be visiting again. A big thumbs up from me 👍.

Had my wife's send off party here. The work put in by Pete beforehand to make it the perfect day was above & beyond expectations. Food & beer was excellent and the bar staff friendly and welcoming. Book this private venue!

Had a lovely family meal for my uncles birthday today . Staff were great and the chef was amazing, the food was spot on , piping hot and well presented. Staff that care about their customers and the needs of customers. Highly recommend dining out here. We will definitely be back. A huge thank you to all of you 😊👍🏻

Called in for lunch with colleagues and absolutely amazing!! Mark and Ash and lovely and made us feel really welcome and at home! I had the chicken pie and both pie and the chips were just heaven! I love good, proper, home made pub food!!

Lovely, friendly, helpful staff and great food - went here yesterday as part of a large group booking (18 of us) and all of the food came out piping hot. I had the scampi which I'd definitely recommend! We'll be coming back again soon.

Called in for lunch following recommendations. Was greeted by Lizzie who was very friendly and welcoming. My wife had a cheese and ham panning, packed with ham and I had the Chorizo and prawn pasta, both meals excellent. Nice friendly atmosphere in the pub , will definitely be back.

Met up here with some London friends for a roast before they headed back. Lovely friendly staff who were very attentive. The food was amazing, you can tell when it's fresh and home made rather than the bland offers from chain pubs. Perfectly cooked beef, fluffy big Yorkshire and a great selection of veg including my favourite creamed leeks. We added a cauli cheese and pigs in blankets to share. My friends were amazed at the quality and value for money saying a similar offer at an independent London pub would be £25+ All in all a great pub, great staff, great food and importantly great value. Highly recommend and can't wait to return

Lovely staff and food is well presented and of a good quality without a big expense. There's a good selection of beers and was playing xmas / chart music in the background which set a jolly mood. I'd come back again next time I'm in this neck of the woods.

I am a bit biased by going here for over 41 years and not been let down yet. Has a lovely atmosphere. Now a sports bar with tv's visible throughout the 4 rooms. Car park to rear of building for warmer weather with a beer garden and children's play area. Good range of beers, spirits, wines and cocktails. Has new menu in place with range of meals.

We've dined here a few times over the years and have never been particularly impressed, but we decided to give it another try for lunch and actually had a really nice meal. The prawn bruschetta was really tasty (although quite small!) and the Calzone was excellent. We'll definitely return.

We had my mum and dad's Dimond wedding anniversary at Salute at the White Swan. The staff was fantastic, very helpful every one of them . They all worked so hard to make everything go smoothly. Thank you to all of them . They are a credit to Salutes The food was excellent, the pizzas were excellent, and the cold buffet was excellent. Couldn't folt anything. Thank you to the kitchen staff. The atmosphere was excellent it was piped music with a good selection. I would definitely be recommending it to other people

The rotisserie chicken with the gravy - delicious but the Mac n cheese is a 100/10, unreal. Biscoff cheesecake could have fed an army and it would be the happiest army ever. Service was as stunning as ever, Julie was an absolute superstar ! Thanks for a lovely evening 🥰

Spacious but feels cozy Italian diner. Staff were nice and food was ok.

First time visiting since it reopened for food and was not disappointed. I chose the hot beef ciabata with chips. The beef was so tender and the chips were perfect. Staff were really friendly and very attentive. Looking forward to returning soon to try more of the menu!

We had a table for six with two dogs and had drinks and food. The open fire was on Good atmosphere It was clean and today Happy and welcoming team Food was Lovely. All plates cooked well and all hot and all really enjoyed. A lovely way to spend a cold and wet weekend afternoon.

Came up with the family, lovely atmosphere, proper family pub vibes, the kids area was lovely! The food was spot on, had the chicken and chorizo and it was absolutely beautiful, family had some wings, chicken burger & mushroom stroganoff, all loved it!
