We called for a drink one Saturday evening and it was dead but apparently had been busy in the afternoon. Drinks average price for a bar. Pool expensive at £1 a game but it's a nice table. Would be a good place for a disco as inside is large and has been taken back to the stone. I would recommend.

Good food traditionally cooked, great value for money, huge portion sizes. But they offer smaller portion or sharing plates too. Really good customer service, but the restaurant area was not heated and the seat was uncomfortable, so we didn't stay longer than the meal.

New management are doing a great job. Friendly pub, with a good atmosphere. There was sport on TV if that's what you want, but it wasn't too loud, and they had very sensibly set up the space with somewhere for sports fans, and another for those just socialising. Maybe could do with some more ales, though.

Nice friendly pub with the most amazing curry place attached (Blue tiger) I like my curries hot and spicy and they are just to my liking but lots of milder dishes and superb starters. Staff are excellent and go the extra mile to please. Really recommend this place!!

Called in for tea on a Monday night and ended up booking in for Thali night on the Tuesday night. Lots of choice, good veggie options, very reasonable prices, staff are brill. Resteraunt is attached to the pub so goes hand in hand, great idea

Food was amazing the quality of the chicken is what surprised me and rate it so highly, not chewy no fat good amount. I've been served food before in a pan but never the kind of pan you use at home Tefal non stick lol... Staff were very friendly and the building felt more like home than a curry house. Food speaks for itself very tasty, travelled quite far just to sample the food before the next lockdown so you better hurry up too!

Lovely warm inside staff really nice gave. Us choice off 2 tables , pickle tray n poppadoms really nice , I got chicken buna was lovely n his lamb buna was 2 got plenty 2 n chapatti s big n was really warm all food n fresh I'm a fussy eater but will defo recommend and go back 👌

Had a delicious meal here to celebrate Father's Day/a birthday/family reunion. All of the dishes we had were of a very high quality - quality ingredients, full of flavour and absolutely delicious! Many thanks - we'll be back soon.

My wife and I called in on Friday evening, great tapas, service and atmosphere. Went for the meat meze starter followed by 3 tapas with side between us and it was plenty for us. The chef was pleasant fellow he even came out to speak to us. Definitely recommended

Being new to the area, we paid a visit for a weekend 'move-in celebration' We couldn't have made a better choice. The food and service was absolutely phenomenal. I recommend the padron peppers and the Onglet steak.

First visit to the Punch Bar & Tapas and it didn't disappoint, the menu choice, specials and food were excellent. We were a party of 6, the service was on point and everyone throughly enjoyed the dishes selected - The star of the show was the Seabass! So pleased we made it before the snow landed Definitely be back for another visit

It was so impressive because mthe menu has many seafood dishes. We ordered Thai green curry King Prawn and Haddock fish and chips which were amazingly delicious and fresh. We absolutely come back and recommended.

Great fresh sea bass. Probably some of the best sea bass I’ve ever had. Service is over all good but kind of got forgotten about after serving the started. Long wait between course. Oh and the calamari was but well cooked.

A Breakfast to Remember! We had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Finlay’s in Holmfirth, and it was truly exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish showcasing the finest local produce. The attention to quality and freshness was evident in every bite. The roasted local coffee deserves a special mention – it’s hands down the best we’ve ever had! Perfectly brewed, it complemented the meal wonderfully. What really made the experience stand out was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt right at home, adding a warm and personal touch to the visit. Finlay’s is a gem in Holmfirth, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch breakfast, incredible coffee, and outstanding service!

Our first experience here, won't be the last. First impression is the wonderful building, an ex dyehouse - looks great, well set out, visibly beautiful from the outside, exceptional outdoor space (didn't use as it's -2⁰) Warm welcome on entry, and great seated area to review the menu, take a drink. Restaurant is bustling and has a great atmosphere, good music. Service was attentive and pleasant. Menu was a decent choice, not too many you can't decide. All choices were piping hot and really enjoyable. Sweets looked incredible, however ate far too much so gave them a miss.

Not the cheapest place around here but the quality, ambience and experience is worth the premium. Staff made an effort for my birthday and we had a great time. We all could have had anything on the menu which always makes it a tough choice. All in all, a lovely evening and will be back.

Nice place but very expensive. Did not expect London prices in rural Yorkshire for Italian food. Very friendly staff but not the best organised kitchen. We were a table of 4 and for both starters and main, one of us had to wait 5 minutes after the others got their dish to get theirs. I ordered squid ink spaghetti with seafood sauce and fish for my main course but hardly had any pasta. The waitress did ask for some more from the kitchen and I was served a whole new plate which was nice but a bit wasteful. Nice cocktails.

Absolutely lovely cafe and the fact that it is car themed makes it even more unique! You get to have lovely food with a classic car showroom before or after your meal. The service was great, the food tasty and portion size reasonable. I had the stacked breakfast and this was to die for with the crispiest hash browns ever tasted. I loved it and will be back again. P.S. if you have a sweet tooth try their milkshakes. I highly recommend

First time visiting the new venue. Not disappointed at all. Had some very tasty food, and stroll round the vintage cars and bikes.

Car nostalgia and great food! A must for motorcar enthusiasts with a car display spanning from a Porsche 964, BMW 2002 TI I, a TV7 through to a mark one Transit. There is also a restoration service with their exquisite craft on display. The food and service was excellent. We opted for a breakfast muffin and a hanging chicken kebab alongside a perfect coffee. There is plenty of onsite parking and rest room facilities. I recommend visiting and look forward to returning.

This pub is ran by a very professional landlady. She runs this pub so well in every aspect. In this day and age its hard. To me she is one of the best landladys i have ever come across. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic local boozer! Was made to feel very welcome, quite full on a Saturday night with a good mix of all ages. Good selection of beers on, can't fault it!!

Local british friends arranged to eat Saturday dinner here. Great ambience, v good service. Food is good and v well catered for standard British palate / expectation; as an ethnic Chinese it's (as expected) bland unadventurous and not a single dish worthy of note - but by no means a criticism nor expectation for this locality.
