A good and enjoyable experience had by all, and also a great evening out. Lovely food and desserts all very reasonably priced. Also good and helpful bar staff, plus a good relaxed atmosphere. Also a good choice of different dishes to choose from the menu.

The Wrose Bull has improved so much and the new menu is lovely! Lots of great deals to choose from and a fantastic modernised beer garden for the summer. I had the loaded surf and turf last time and the garlic prawn topper was beautiful. The Eton mess Sundae comes recommend too. Today I had the Halloumi Fajitas and they were gorgeous. It's definitely becoming our regular choice for a great value family meal out.

The Wrose Bull: A Perfect Family Night Out! Our family of four had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Wrose Bull on the evening of January 27th, 2025. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pub itself is charming, with a lovely ambiance that made us feel instantly comfortable. We decided to stay for dinner, and we were so glad we did! The food was absolutely superb – clearly made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Every dish was delicious, and there was something to please everyone in our family. Honestly, it was one of the best pub meals we've had in a long time. But what truly elevated our experience was the incredible staff. Katie and Guy were absolutely brilliant! Their friendly and attentive service made us feel like valued guests. They were so helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening. Their genuine warmth and enthusiasm truly shone through. We honestly cannot fault a single thing about our visit to The Wrose Bull. The combination of delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service from Katie, Guy, and the rest of the team makes this pub a true gem. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Wrose Bull to anyone looking for a fantastic place to eat and drink. Whether you're a family, a couple, or just looking for a great night out, you won't be disappointed! We'll definitely be back soon!

This was a pretty good place. It was dog friendly and relatively quiet. The food arrived quickly, and the staff were friendly. The food was ok, and the atmosphere was relatively good. I’d probably come back here again.

Lovely pub restaurant, nicely decorated and friendly staff. Good selection of gastro pub food and yummy desserts. I've eaten here several times now and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. A nice outdoor seating area that would be lovely on a warm summer's evening. They also have a wedding suite and function room. Plenty of free car parking spaces.

Booked a table online. The server was very polite. I had the 2 courses for £16.50. The crispy squid was cooked to perfection and was delicious. The burger was amazing, cannot fault it.

First time here today and I have to say it was lovely. The look and atmosphere is 10/10. Our server Beth and Pete were extremely friendly, smiley and knowledgeable about the food on offer. We will definitely return to try what else is on offer!

Had an amazing day here at my son's wedding. The staff were amazing and the food was just stunning. Can't recommend it higher if you want a meal drink or party place.

I was invited to a poker tournament there, Fruday evening. 19 runners three tables. It was a well run tournament, with a good group of lads with varying experience. Shout out to Scarlet (I Think) who was ferrying drinks up stairs all night....I'll Be Back.

I went to a "Funeral Tea" at the George. The buffet was extremely good. You could tell everything was freshly made. I had a lovely pint of Timothy Taylor's Blonde. Very pleasant staff. Good pub, would highly recommend.

The George is a great traditional British pub with a variety of beers and ales. My wife and I frequent this establishment to watch football every weekend, it has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are warm and friendly. Lou the landlady can not do enough for the costumers and their 4 legged friends, it has a great play area for kids. I highly recommend a visit.

We had a family meal on Sunday which consisted of 9 people, one a toddler. The table was in the right part of the pub to allow the little one to have some room. Service was excellent although we had to wait quite a while for our food to arrive. Two people had the Sunday roast and said it was excellent. My turbot was well cooked and the smashed potatoes really tasty. Nice atmosphere and nice surroundings, will be back sometime.

We had a family Christmas dinner today! The meal was delicious and the service second to none. We were seated upstairs, so thank you to the lovely waitress. Nothing was too much trouble! Highly recommend.

We’ve visited a few times now and the food has always been pretty good. The staff are very attentive and professional. Portion sizes are great for both the adult and the kids menus.

Food was very fresh and the customer service was very warm and friendly. Staff member Luke was very polite, cheerful and looked after us very well. He made our visit very pleasant.

What a well turned out pub. Dropped in for coffee and had excellent friendly service from very helpful staff. Ended up booking a Christmas dinner! Highly recommended.

Lovely pub, good food. Only reason it's got 4 stars and not 5 is it's dog friendly which I know some people will like, I just prefer places that aren't, but it wouldn't put me off a future visit.

This is a local pub for us, as baildon residents. It's on its own out the village centre, which is perfect after maybe a walk on the Moor tops, or the Glen etc. Ideal stopping point. They often have entertainment on, they invite regular street food caterers as an ongoing theme, which are great. Staff always welcoming, and nice selection of ales and the usual! We have dropped in quite a bit since we've lived in baildon and would recommend to others, wether it's just opportunistic or your a resident too.

My friends and I visited the Old Glen House the first night I arrived in Leeds (I live in the US). The steak and ale pie was amazing, as was the apple/rhubarb dessert!!! (Truly the best beef pie I've ever had). We then travelled all the way to the Scottish Highlands for a week, eating at pubs and restaurants along the way. Out of our entire trip, The Old Glen House was the best food and had our favorite employees. They made us feel welcome in their home. I highly recommend the pies as well as the chicken burgers (My friend said it was the best he's ever eaten). Go to the Old Glen House! And while you're there, stroll down to the Old Glen in the woods just behind it. It's beautiful.

Love a dog friendly pub and one that has a Pie Chart 🥧 - Genius!! Pie’s are award winning with beautifully cooked veg that you choose from!!!

A really nice pub with a good selection of vegan food. I had the cauliflower wing salad which was huge and tasted amazing. Finished off with a vegan Bakewell tart and ice cream. Both were tasty and the value was amazing. The menu has lots of other things on it for vegans. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. The carvery isn’t as vegan friendly, you’d be eating toast vegetables and potatoes only but great for vegetarians.

Really enjoyable. Lovely food: and a dessert offering to die for; literally, if you already have diabetes lol. Great for kids and families. It's "Comfort food in comfort"
