Rooms not bad at all. I just reserved 5 star for luxury. Fantastic all round service from check-in to check-out. Free breakfast served on my package to my own table. great food with plenty of options and catered to my vegan requests. My package was £50 for one night and in a great location. Come here if travel lodge is your option.

What a fantastic place! Warm and welcoming, all the staff friendly, good fun and very efficient, beer and food excellent, room lovely. In an amazing location with wonderful views over the town. Parking can be tricky (which is forewarned on the website) but didn't present any real problem to a pair of old gits like me and "the boss".

What is not to like about The Fleece Inn? The location, halfway up Haworth high street, is perfect; the ambiance is great; there is a real fire and the food is fantastic. My partner was especially pleased with the gravy that came with his Christmas dinner! And I loved my scampi and chips. There is a good range of local brewery ales and guest ales available too.

Dog & Gun Inn

P: 01535 643159

Rating: 4.5 (866) Price Level:

We stayed at Leeming Wells Hotel for 2 nights and had breakfast and evening meal in The Dog & Gun next door. The food was fabulous, I had rump steak which was done to my liking, with vegetables and chips which were so nice. My son had a mixed grill which he enjoyed with chips and onion rings. Breakfast was lovely, husband and son had full English which they enjoyed. Lovely warm atmosphere in pub and very welcoming. Lovely open fire in bar, very cosy. Prices are reasonable in line with anywhere else. Service was great, waitresses very attentive. It was my third time staying at Leeming Wells and will be back next year.

Kiyans Restaurant

72 Haworth Rd, Cross Roads, Keighley BD22 9DL, UK | Restaurant

Rating: 4.7 (209) Price Level:

This has to be one of the best curries in our area. Almost definitely No 1 outside of bradford. We had 2 chicken curries and 1 meat curry and all 3 tasted fantastic. The starters were also great as well ( Mixed starter for 2 ). But for me the real star of the show was the cookie dough plate I had for desert, I ordered a Kinder Bueno cookie dough and it was the best desert I have ever eaten. Truly amazing place.

Great choice and good value. We went to Kiyans with a large group of friends for a birthday celebration. It was really great service with attention to detail and the food was amazing. Great offer on the menu so was good value and the curry was lovely. They even gave us a free surprise dessert for the birthday and had an excellent choice of starters and curries included in the offer. Well worth it! Fantastic experience!

My husband and I have just had a lovely sit down meal without the kids. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was beautiful. Restaurant is clean and pleasant, and the wait time for food wasn’t excessive. Just to be aware, the restaurant doesn’t have a licence, and I think it’s cash only. The menus are also a little dated so the prices charged on the bill were a little higher than advertised… not a problem for me as I was happy to pay the price regardless, but just a little annoying. Won’t hesitate to return. Thank you especially to Kyla our waitress. She’s a credit to you.

The Treehouse Bar and Kitchen

Oak St via Gas St car, park, Haworth, Keighley BD22 8NQ, UK | Restaurant
P: 01535 646395

Rating: 4.5 (518) Price Level:

I visited here with family as we had rented a holiday home nearby. It is a beautiful venue with a modern yet charming interior. It seemed very popular as there wasn't a spare table. Perhaps this had something to do with it being two days before New Years Day. However, it was still a Monday. There was a large selection of drinks to choose from with offers on some, including cask ale and cocktails. The food was great as we all enjoyed what we ordered.

We only called in for a drink, so can't comment on food. Will be back another day to try that. The building/decoration looks lovely. Most tables were reserved when we arrived, so we sat at the bar, which was fine by us. Nice atmosphere too.

Had an impromptu Sunday Roast here with some friends and their pooch and it was very good. We called in on the off chance and they were able to fit us in straight away. We sat downstairs in a nice lounge area with football on the TV. Can't fault it at all for the price. The service we received from the girls was very good although we asked if we could have a sausage or something for the dog and we were told no which was a little inflexible but hey, maybe they have their reasons. It wasn't a deal breaker. I see some reviewers have marked the place down for atmosphere or being a little noisy which I thought was unfair, it's just a lively type of place. It certainly shouldn't lose marks for that. Horses for courses and all that. You don't go to the Red Lion and expect there to be a pianist in the corner. If you want a quiet, romantic meal, you would go somewhere appropriate. We parked on Gas Street Car Park which is right next to the place and costs a maximum of 3 quid ( I think ) for the whole day so it was very convenient for our wander round Howarth. Just a short walk up the hill to the main Drag.

Popped in for lunch. Really great menu, the wife wanted Almond milk in her coffee, the team here dashed off out and bought some as they had just run out. Not many places would offer that level of service. The food was wholesome, tasty and plentiful. Well worth the money which wasn't expensive.

Lovely little cafe, with tasty, fresh food. All of our party said that both their chosen savoury and cakes/desserts were delicious. 👌 The staff were absolutely lovely, very obliging and happy to help, making the visit even better. I phoned up before hand and booked a table as there were 5 of us meeting up at lunchtime, and I struggle with stairs, so I asked if we could have one on the ground floor. The cafe had a table on the ground floor already prepared for us when we arrived. 🙂 The chocolate milkshake, and the warm scone with jam and clotted cream are favourites. 😍

After a beautiful Worth valley train journey and a nice walk reached the amazing place of Haworth. A great location for photography and romance. Visited the Bronte's place as well and then felt hungry. Found this cute restaurant/cafe close to the Bronte's place. Entered and found pretty little things in the restaurant. Interesting food menu, beautiful quotes and marvellous showpieces convinced me to sit close to the window and get lost in a living dream. The view from the window was outstanding as the beautiful valleys were lit up by the gorging sunlight. The delicious fish soup danced down my throat and was enough to start the foodgasm. Then the chilled beer with another bowl of soup gave a boost to walk around Haworth with much more energy. The service was like a piece of butter, smilingly melting on the heart of cracking bread. The place was as neat as the first pour of Jack Daniels with two chunks of ice. The beautiful quotes on the walls will bound to make you feel the aroma of life. The restaurant/cafe itself states the character of Haworth and what England is all about. It was such a lovely moment. Beautiful memories. Golden days. Don't miss the charm of life which you can feel while sitting and munching in this little world. Thanks .

Such a busy, happy place with it's own vegan menus plus specials for ethical customers. The food is really good & tasty with plenty of choice & they have really nice teas avoid the usual ones with plastic. The staff were super friendly, checking for allergies despite the place being busy. It's located on a lovely street with lots of independent shops. Well worth a visit.

During our visit from Canada, we decided to take in the wonderful village of Haworth. At the bottom of the street we found this little gem of a pub. We got a lovely warm welcome and we enjoyed our stay. We didn't eat because they were fully booked but we enjoyed the beer and banter of a great English country pub. Definitely recommend a visit. As a bonus, they serve Hawkstone beer. Very happy.@Hawkstone

The George Pub

Station Rd, Cullingworth, Bradford BD13 5HN, UK | Pub
P: 01274 032536

Rating: 4.3 (410) Price Level:

First visit with my husband since the refurb, we visited fairly regularly before and always enjoyed it. The decor and refurb is top spec and beautiful however, I felt it was lovely before in a different way - it felt more like a quirky, village local pub, now it feels a bit more like an impersonal bar. We tried to get a table on arrival and think the bar lady misunderstood as she said we should find our own, pointing to the non-dining tables. Then when I pointed to the empty tables in the dining area and asked if we could choose one she asked "will you be having food?"... I've never known anyone ask at a bar for a table for drinks! Our food order was taken promptly and the food was served quickly. I really enjoyed the sirloin steak which was really juicy, the tasty mushrooms and peas with the steak, and the perfect halloumi fries. The tomatoes were a little overcooked. My husband enjoyed his burger but said it wasn't anything special - having tried my steak he said he'd get that next time. He felt his chips were a tad undercooked. I think the menu could be improved e.g. by including starters. Our visit was amazingly good value. Overall a very good visit which could be a little improved.

First visit to the refurbished George. Really enjoyed our time there. We both had food which was very good value for money. The only negative was the limited choice of lagers available. The pub was comfortable & bright. The toilets, which are now situated upstairs, are a huge improvement on the previous ones which were situated downstairs. Will definitely return very soon.
