One word, sensational. The food, the service the atmosphere. Everything was perfect. It was my husband’s 40th birthday and we were greeted with a free glass of Prosecco and they also gave him a surprise pudding. It was faultless and would go back in a heartbeat.

Le restaurant est vraiment très jolie! La cuisine française est au point, nous avons passé une très bonne soiree. Je recommande vivement. Update - went again in July 2024. We order lots of food (4 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts). The only two things I would not recommend are the snails, cooked under some pastry and it was tasteless. And also the fish cake which was way too salty. Everything else was SPECTACULAR, I would still very much recommend.

Great place, great authentic French food. It took a while to get our menu's, orders taken, but then it was fine after that. Staff were friendly. I had the French onion soup to start and a chicken Voialle as a main. Both delicious.

If I had a criticism it was that there was too much salt in the gravy, but that's it, this place is stunning, the staff bloody fantastic and the food absolutely top notch. We came for boxing day and it was worth every penny. We'll be back.

I really enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere in the restaurant, we were a party of five, and as soon as we arrived we were treated very professionally, the table was perfect and comfortable. Although a little close to another dinners,The staff were very officiant. Good choice on the menu. I had A starter of duck liver pate, but didn't feel it had much flavour 5/10. My main was a very tasty Pork dish, with a great tasting black pudding. There was too much red cabbage but the cauliflower cheese was very nice. A good selection of drinks. Other members were disappointed with the Yorkshire Pudding which was very dry and burned. The gravy was already on the plate and would have been better in a gravy boat. I finished with the best even Sticky toffee pudding 9 /10. The price was very reasonable l had a really good experience, thank you will recommend.

It really is as good as it gets. Extremely well appointed and stylish rooms, Award winning restaurant with cosy bar and comfortable lounges. The staff bring the whole wonderful experience to life. I would love to keep it a secret but we all should experience the Shibden Mill Inn at least once, we hope to make a habit of it. It's worth travelling the length of the country just to enjoy it. We've visited before for dinner, but had our first overnight stay here this weekend. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Food was incredible as always. Special shout out to Emma for the best full English we've ever had! Rooms were immaculate and little touches made us feel incredibly welcome, while also feeling in luxury! Lily also made us feel so well taken care of during our breakfast, what a perfect start to our Sunday! Thank you all for the best stay!

Outstanding place we are lucky to have to have such an amazing place in our city. I can't get over the beautiful building and how nice it is that it has been so beautifully restored. Came at lunch time today, the service was brilliant! Very attentive and professional yet friendly staff. The lady on the door with brown hair hosting who showed us to our table was super friendly. The food is amazing- I knew this place is good as I've heard a lot of good things about it from a few people. But it exceeded my expectations. The younger staff on the door on the way out seemed to be chatting amongst themselves and I didn't get a bye but that is me being ridiculously picky. Thankyou and can't wait to come back!

Absolutely superb! Came for a quiet celebration meal and was not disappointed. Our server (Charlotte) was very attentive. The food was excellent (steak was little on the rare side of medium rare but that's how I like it). Pudding was nice and light after a very hearty meal. The cocktails were all delicious - excellent recommendation from Charlotte. We will be back!

This was my first visit to the cut and craft Leeds i have visited the one in York a few time and loved York. The Leeds one did not disappoint at all was very nice the inside is very up market and posh which is what we wanted for our special occasion, The food was amazing and so was the service. My only pit was the kids menu we went at lunch time with our boy who loves the side dish of Yorkshire pudding gravy and roast potatoes, which he as when we visit York and was looking forward to this hear but sadly this was not on the menu. Lucky for us the chips and gray came to the rescue. The adults in our party enjoyed the meals and as expected. the whole experience is very good. I even had to buy one of the beer packs to take home as i love the big beer glasses you have.

Wow! What a stunning interior, the place is beautiful and there's a great atmosphere in the restaurant. I'd heard a great deal about the restaurant before making our 1st trip. We walked in off the street around 6pm with no booking. Escorted upstairs to an empty floor, we were a bit dubois that we may have a bit of a quiet one?! It was Wednesday evening after all, but no.....within 60 mins the place was heaving. Our service was excellent, very attentive and professional. I did expect a slightly larger menu choice but this is certainly not a negative against that. However, I'm convinced I fell on a bad day. My rib eye was pretty bad, extremely sinuey and very very chewy, definitely a poor cut. The rest of the meal was great and we would go again but I'd expect the chef to inspect the quality of steaks before cooking. I probably only ended up eating half of my rib eye due to it being non edible. Don't let this put anyone off, I'm sure it's a 1 off as the restaurant does have an avid following!

One of my favourite places to eat spend a lot of time in here money well spent. Very good wines and the best French martini ever.

I would give them 10 starts if I could. I could arguably say that this has been the best brunch that I have ever had in my life. Everything from start to finish was simply PERFECT. AMAZING atmosphere and service and food was divine. Everything was freshly made and tastes absolutely sensational. Staff are very attentive and helpful and extremely polite. 1000% recommend this to everyone and trust you will not regret it.

Popped in for Brunch. As always the food is amazing staff are brilliant and it's such a lovely experience. Going to try the breakfast martini next time as it looked so good!

One of the best Sunday roasts we've ever had. Flat iron steak was cooked perfectly. We ordered one of every side dish between 2 of us. When it arrived we thought we'd massively overdone it. But it was all so tasty that we polished off the lot. No room for pudding though. Only small negative - it was very noisy and hard to have a conversation while we ate. This was mostly due to some unruly kids and inadequate parents on the next table, but that's not the fault of the restaurant. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

First visit but definitely not our last! This was an amazing night of tasting great food served by great staff. Great atmosphere I can’t explain in words how great every part of the evening was the food took centre stage. Many thanks to every member of staff from the front of house to the chefs.

Enjoyed the Saturday lunch menu. The food was as good as any other Michelin restaurant I’ve dined at. The staff were friendly, and engaging about the food and drink. I couldn’t fault it at all. I will definitely return. Next will be the Sunday lunch and then the dinner service. Very good value for money too.

Came here for my birthday. What an experience. Food was outstanding, service also outstanding, we left feeling pleasantly full. Atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, restaurant has an authentic feel in keeping with the building and the history. Price was reasonable when the quality is considered. We would definitely return. Last minute booking as we were visiting the area and choosing a green king is a safe bet for dinner.When we arrived we sat down early and bought a refreshing drink, looking around we noticed they host alot of activities for the locals such as dog walking, dog parties, dog treats, children’s games and probably a lot more. I was taken aback by the community spirit of the place and wish you all the best in the future as no doubt your helping a lot of local people and pets. Very chill and clean atmosphere 😎 £14.49 for two main meals (hunters chicken and pulled mushroom chilli) and £15.49 for the large mixed grill - very hearty, delicious and filling. Will definitely be visiting again to taste the rest of the menu! *UPDATE* - Have visited on a monthly basis and can definitely say the Mac and cheese is my go-to meal! 👌🏻

Enjoyed the atmosphere, staff were friendly & helpful. Great food, very authentic & just what we were looking for with a real depth to the flavours. We visited on a Saturday at 8pm without making a reservation & were seated within 10 minutes. Please note restaurant does not serve alcohol.

The food here doesn’t quite match up to their Bradford branch, but the atmosphere benefits from the lovely riverfront setting. Service was on the slow side, though the staff were polite and attentive. One highlight was the mango lassi, which was refreshing and delicious. They also offer a range of fresh juices that are worth trying. The restaurant’s location at the docks provides a great river view, adding to the overall experience. Inside, there’s a shop selling their own perfumes, curry paste, spices, ghee, and more, which is a nice addition. Despite some drawbacks, the pleasant ambiance and courteous service make this spot worth considering.
