We hired Flo's for our wedding breakfast. The price we paid was competitive per head - pretty much a comparable price to cod and chips at a chippy. But this included all of the extras like curry sauce, mushy peas and wooden knives and forks, so it was actually very competitive considering all of these extras. We had a few veggies and vegans who were well catered for, and a few in our party were coeliac, so clinically gluten free and they were well catered for too. The communication before the day was great, and on the day the team were very chirpy and friendly. We had a party of just over 50, and they were able to get everyone served in great time, which was great as it was early February so a tad nippy out! We had numerous people comment that it was the best fish and chips they have ever had, which made us feel good about our wedding breakfast choice as it wasn't a traditional one! The fish wasn't greasy at all, nor were the chips. The portion was good too. Not crazy big, but a good sized portion of fish (or big sausage), and a generous portion of chips. All but the biggest of eaters struggled to finish theirs. They sent a message in that we had a few portions left over, so the big eaters were able to go and get a few extras lol! The van itself looked very hygienic and spotless inside. It was very presentable from the outside too, and it was very clear what options were available to our guests thanks to good signage. Thoroughly recommended. Great service, and very well priced.

Myself & Robyn would like to give a very heart felt thanks to Flo's Fryer for the absolutely amazing service we received recently at our wedding at Newhaven Fort. The fish & chips were delicious and we can't thank you enough for the vegan option for the bride, she loved the battered mushrooms! The portion sizes were amazing and all of our guest commented on how awesome the food was so again thank you so much, you guys really made our day even more special. We would highly recommend Flo's for your wedding or event. x

WOW. We had Flo's as one of our caterers at our wedding last weekend and the food and service was outstanding. From booking 2 years ago, to communicating up until the day before the wedding, nothing was too much trouble. They catered for all of our guests dietary requirements and even ordered us some extra pickled onion, eggs and gherkins! The food was incredible!! All of our 120 guests loved the food, the fish was so light, piping hot and not greasy at all. Plus the curry sauce was sooo good, proper kick to it! I wouldn't hesitate to book them for any future events! Thank you so much!!

From our first communication to our last Catherine and the team have been amazing. We had to postpone due to Covid twice and each time they were so accommodating and supportive. We finally got married on Sunday and it was absolutely worth the wait! Using Flo's Fryer as our wedding meal was perfect. Everyone said how much they enjoyed the food and they had options that catered for all (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free). The quality of the food and portion sizes were fantastic and we were even given some leftovers! We cannot thank the team enough for being so friendly and making the meal run so smoothly. 5 stars doesn't do them justice!

We hired K Bar to supply the bar for our wedding party in August 2021, along with their sister company Kitchen of Kent to supply the food. We actually managed to get married on our original date in August 2020, but as receptions weren’t allowed at the time we postponed our reception to 2021 instead, so firstly, the K Bar team were so accommodating and helpful with the date change and other changes we had to make. The bar menu is really great and offers a mix of house drinks and a selection of locally sourced beverages too. The prices were really reasonable as well. Sarah was great with communication in the lead up to the day, completely understanding what we wanted and accommodating any queries that we had with ease. On the day, the bar looked fab, we hired their rustic wooden bar. The team working the bar for the party were fun, knowledgable and professional. They really helped our guests to have a good time and took the stress away from us needing to worry about our guests being looked after. At the end of the evening the team cleared up quickly and discreetly and left their areas spotless. Many thanks to Sarah and the team for ensuring our party went so smoothly. We loved having K Bar for our party and wouldn’t hesitate in using them again or in recommending them to anyone else.

We checked out the Wednesday steak night. It was fabulous! if you like good steak, superbly cooked and well presented, then I couldn't recommend this place more highly. It's a lot of food for 2 people and would probably work better with 3 or 4 people. Wonderful!

This is a review for the bar restaurant as we didn't stay. We were staying nearby and dropped in for a meal and a drink. They are very dog friendly, which was great for us. The lady at the bar was incredibly helpful and made us really welcome straight away. This is a proper old fashioned venue where the owner and staff go out of their way to be hospitable. Food was traditional pub fare, well cooked and tasty. Had a great night. Recommended.

I recently visited the restaurant for the Hawkenbury steak night and was certainly not disappointed. Myself and my girlfriend were the only two in the restaurant, we received excellent service from the lovely staff. We ate the tomahawk steak which came with a complimentary bottle of red or white. I would 100% recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone

We held my daughters Wedding reception at Frankies Farmshop on 3rd August 2024. There's not enough words that I can express to say what an amazing time we had. Jen and the team at Frankies were outstanding. The service was exceptional and the help we received from Jen leading upto the event was so professionally done, it felt like we had our own in-house wedding planner. We received so many compliments from the guests who also really enjoyed the food. Thank you Jen and all, you really made my daughters wedding so special. I'll forever be appreciative. Incredible - one of my new favourite spots for a lunch stop! We stopped off after randomly finding Frankies Farmshop on Google and were delighted with it. Lovely fresh food, family friendly and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We will definitely be returning 😁

Stopped for coffee and cake We received a friendly welcome. Really nice spacious eating area with outside seating too. Lots of attentive staff. We had a pot of tea ,carrot cake , a strawberry milkshake and the raspberry cheesecake. The carrot cake was very light and tasty. A fluffy cheese cake tasted fantastic. A very good experience for us both.

What a fantastic find. The food was delicious from starters to dessert. The fillet for mains was particularly good. Bar and waiting staff are really friendly and we even got the chance to meet the chef, who talked us through what he was serving. We had the set meal, which was good value, and a few drinks - there's a lot of local stuff on (we had a local gin and a local ale). I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be back.

I'd been wanting to visit The Stile Bridge for some time; it was with some excitement that I saw how nearby a restaurant in the Michelin guide was. It did not disappoint. Beautifully cooked meat, with the best chips I've ever tasted - well seasoned throughout, crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The pork sirloin was delicious, the beef sirloin moreso. I will be back very eagerly. Lovely service as well, and some nice drinks offerings.

Large well managed establishment. Good selection of wine and beer but accent is on food. Spacious and airy dinning area's and friendly, efficient service. My Guinness was presented in prime condition. Recommended , particularly if eating. Christmas lunch in region of £100 pp.

Despite the restaurants unassuming exterior, don't let that deter you—the experience is absolutely worth it. The quality of the dishes and the culinary expertise showcased here far surpasses any initial judgments based on appearances. The staff are also very friendly. Don't miss out on this hidden treasure.

I came here for an anniversary meal and it didn't disappoint. Don't let the exterior pub-like look fool you. On the inside, it's a fine dining experience. Incredible food and service. The only reason it gets 3 stars for the atmosphere is because we went on a Monday which was very quiet. Will definitely be back for the tasting night which sounded excellent.

Get in quick before it gets a star. Service- relaxed but very professional Drink - well recommended Food - for £100 a head in London easily. Seriously superb food. The dishes take you on a journey the team design and deliver on. Went for a birthday, will now “have to go back” to regularly check quality.

Great restaurant with great quality food. Service was very good. There was no rush to eat and time between courses was soot on. Overall a great experience and to be repeated many times more.

Attended last night for birthday surprise and wasn't disappointed. The staff were very attentive throughout the evening. Head Chef Lee has created a menu which is a delight. The menu to make a decision which of the 5 starters & 6 mains to choice was extremely hard as I could and was tempted to have one of each. The food was as good as u can get the flavours were exquisite. The pairing of wine is a great idea. You will not be disappointed in booking here. Will be returning.

Beautiful restaurant, clean with nice tables I love the touch of the table clothes and serviettes. The starters were delicious…. My prawns were amazing … the service was impeccable… the dessert was yummy…..you can pay with card or cash… the toilets were clean .

One of my favourite Indian restaurants. Service is friendly and they are very helpful. Food is top class and there is a very good atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit.

We had a great night at Jumeira with our running club! The food was tasty, well presented and there was plenty of it. The staff, as always were very attentive and we were very well looked after. We had the added bonus of Elvis to entertain us for the evening and a great night was had by all. Thank you Tarek and team. Looking forward to the next one!

Went here Saturday to celebrate a birthday. Service was good despite later on them becoming very busy with takeaways. Food very flavoursome and not oily or bland at all. Imran was great as ever running what seemed like the whole restaurant at times but with a personal touch and with great humour. Don't expect it'll be too much longer before we come again.

Good food and nice vegan options. Service was very busy when we arrived due to a town event but we were served in reasonable time. Unfortunately there was no baby change in the men's toilets which made looking after my child very difficult.

I have a limited ability to eat full sized meals and asked for a child portion, this was no problem with staff and the portion size was just right. Very delicious.

We had a great light lunch at the Unicorn today. The baguettes are superb! And they serve Harvey’s. Service was great and the place was clean and well maintained. It was quite busy even though it was a Wednesday lunchtime.

Organising a surprise birthday for a load of people can be tricky. My mum was given only a short time to live because of cancer so we did not think she would see another birthday. Needless to say, Nikki and her team at the Unicorn went above and beyond to make the evening feel so special. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Special made area of nibbles, decorations, party food table and so much more. Honestly, this was a night to remember. Nikki, I want to thank you and your team from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful evening!

Very pleased to stop off at this pub for a Sunday Lunch. Traditional, relaxed and cosy pub. Everything you would expect in terms of drinks. We were impressed with the Sunday Roast. Large portions of meat accompanied by a range of well cooked vegetables (not overdone). One person had the fish and chips which was also very tasty. Reasonable prices for the portion size.
