The atmosphere here is quaint and welcoming. Staff were friendly and quick to help and take orders. The food in general was mediocre. The chips were great, not to oily, not over or under done. The burger though, was dry, lacked seasoning and there was to much meat (which I would never usually be against), the brioche bun to me did not work with that burger but I've never been a fan of brioche in the first place. All this said, I think the pricing was good, I did not leave thinking I'd overpaid.
This traditional family village pub is one of the best in the area. Great outside area with plenty of seating. Really good menu. I had a burger but you are spoilt for choice. Local ales, fruitie, pool table and tv showing footie, etc. Recommended.
We're a family of 5 and came for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely delicious! There was a great atmosphere felt really welcomed by all. The service was fab, never waiting long for food or drinks. The kids meals were great value and cleared plates all round! Highly recommend and we'll be definitely returning!
Went there for lunch with my family to celebrate my birthday. Very patient, welcoming, and friendly waitress served us. Nothing was too much trouble. Felt at ease, and able to enjoy my time with my family there. The food was superb, and although a bit expensive, the portion size justified that. I would definitely recommend.
