Pub was fairly empty at the time, but food was fantastic. Proper East End pie & mash from Robins got consumed with a pint or 2 of Proper Job. Good price. Walked out very contented.

Love this little but always busy pub. The food is top quality, always fresh ingredients, and cooked to order. The fisherman's basket is a favorite 👍👍 Highly recommended 11/10

Don't be put off by the look of this pub / restaurant. From the outside it looks dated - inside too ( but it was built circa 1733!) The food is amazing, the service is great and the garden at the back sheltered from the wind. We took an American friend for lunch, she's elderly and eats very little. She wanted a shrimp (prawn) salad and we asked for two plates - the prawns were plump and juicy the salad was freshly prepared and there was more than enough for the two of of us at lunchtime. There was french bread on the side - excellent value. Highly recommend this little gem

Was in the are today and thought we would stop here for some dinner. We was not dissapointed the food was fantastic the mix grill was huge all perfectly cooked and banging. The mrs has lasagne real homemade huge bit was also fantastic proper pub grub not like all the fancy crap you get now days just good grub. Our server was lovely and so helpful. We will deff be returning.

We were very fortunate to be able to book in last minute for a lunch for 10 people. The food was amazing, piping hot, generous portions. The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

Arrived in New Romney for a holiday from Stoke-on-Trent. Called in for an evening meal and from walking through the door we were greeted by a friendly lady who showed us to a table. I was really hot as we had walked from our holiday camp down the road and she switched on the air conditioning which was a lovely gesture. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The food was lovely and served with a smile. Overall we would eat there again as they were so accommodating. I highly recommend. First class.

Had Sunday lunch with 3 friends on 25/8 and was a very good experience. Firstly it was heavily booked but they found us a table within 15 minutes. All had roast dinners and were all happy with food (quality and quantity) and served up 10 minutes after ordering. Our server, Miranda, was lovely. Very friendly and efficient and made sure we were all happy with our order. All in all a great experience.

Traveled down from Essex today to see my parents in St Mary bay. I reserved a table a couple of days back. Great location. On arrival we were greeted by welcoming staff and taken to our table. The service was attentive throughout our meal, the food was well presented, fresh and hot. Don’t pass it by, a varied menu with plenty of choice and chefs specials 👍

We didn’t stay here but reserved a table for dinner. It was our fist time here and it was wonderful. The service was great, the food was great, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing AND the women’s bathroom was extremely clean (it’s always a tell tale sign as far as I’m concerned). Will certainly go back

We had a family gathering on Saturday 13th July at this lovely venue. The staff were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous food and plenty of it too. The rooms were fabulous. Breakfast the next day was lovely and plentiful too. I really can't fault it at all. Charlotte who I believe is the manager was fantastic so I'd like to send thanks to her and all the staff. Thank you all.

We had a lunch here. Service was quick, polite and friendly. The food was ok, but would have been nice to have more variety. It was freshly cooked and the pizzas came right out of the great pizza oven The view out of the window was nice, although must be even nicer in summer. Overall, a reliable option for your lunch

Fantastic place and fantastic food. Pizza was absolutely immense. Service was great. We visited for my birthday and it had been mentioned on the booking. As soon as we walked in the staff acknowledged this which was a really personal touch. Would definitely recommend.

The restaurant was very homely and the staff were welcoming and kind. The service was great and the food was delicious. The chicken salad was one of the best that I have eaten! All of the food came out hot and the pizzas were amazing! Definitely give this place a visit.

What a lovely place! The food was delicious, couldn’t fault it. And the service was fantastic. Would like to give Ruby a special mention, so friendly and full of smiles. We went around 8pm so it was quite dark outside to find our buggy once we had finished but still, what an experience.

Had a late lunch here and had a wonderful time. There’s some lovely views inside and nice tables. The staff are very friendly and good service. The atmosphere was nice with other customers being friendly. And decor was cute. The calamari was very good, the pork belly salad was also very nice. Fish and chips was well made and tasty. And the burger was good too. I can’t fault this place at all. The drinks were really nice too. The prices are slightly pricey but that’s in line with the type of establishment it is so it didn’t feel unreasonable or unexpected. Would recommend for a nice meal in Hithe.

The Waterfront is suited on the promenade in Hythe Kent and as it's name suggests is right by the sea. The menu features lots of seafood including traditional fish and chips as well as mussels,hake and more with daily specials also featured. The seating is comfortable and on the warm day I visited the parasols were up giving some nice shade in the outside area. There is also a veranda and a nice indoor area too! It also has a beach bar next to the main restaurant serving cocktails and spritzers etc. plus sandwiches bakes and snacks. They have entry of staff so service is swift and food comes up quickly. Prices are moderate. They have toilets There is wheelchair access A lovely place to enjoy both a snack and a full meal
