We have a 3 storey house and needed the gutters on all levels cleaning and repairing along with the downpipes and also a lot of moss removing from the roof and a preventative measure applied. Gillies arrived at 0830 and left at 1800. They worked so hard throughout the day - and even repaired a missing ridge tile and loose roof tile for us while up on the cherry picker. They used a cherry picker and scaffolding to access the entire property in a safe manner. They not only cleaned up the garden and driveway after they finished, but they even hosed down the neighbouring properties. I cannot recommend them highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They arrived on time, confirmed the appointment the day before and were friendly yet professional throughout the day. The price was also exactly as per the written quotation and this was confirmed in the written invoice after completion of the work. Our 70 year old house now looks like it has a brand new roof!

While Tommy was completing a roof repair for a neighbour I asked if he did fascias, he was quick to confirm he did and when he finished came and checked what I needed. How refreshing to deal with somebody who is more concerned with doing a quality job rather than how much he can make out of it. Nick and his team carried out a significant amount of work on our 1850 Kent Peg Tiled, cottage. We had a roof valley completely stripped and retiled, 3 of 4 tile-hung top floor elevations stripped, insulated and retiled and a leak around a chimney fixed with new lead flashing and tiles. From the moment I met Nick I had complete confidence and trust in him, both in terms of his knowledge and experience in working with heritage properties, but also his professional and friendly manner. Nick has professional and personal integrity and is as honest as they come. No corners were cut, everything was done as it should be and lots of repair short cuts that had been taken over the life of the house were put back to how they should be. They encountered a few additional problems throughout the project, but Nick’s comment was always, ‘don’t worry, you’re in safe hands’ and, indeed, we were! Nick’s team are superb and adhere to his requirement for everything to be done correctly and neatly, as if they were working on their own properties; particular thanks to Tom who did a superb job for us. Nick’s team were extremely polite and respectful to us and our property, they turned up exactly when they said they would and kept us fully informed at every stage of the work. Review Harry Harry and the TW Roofing team recently carried out some chimney/roof repairs on my grade listed cottage. I’ll be honest it wasn’t the easiest of jobs to take on but Harry went above and beyond to get this tricky job fixed for me and I am forever grateful for his help. Where previous roofers had failed to fix this problem, Harry managed with a lot of hard work to get it done. Harry and the team were extremely professional and polite from day one, popping by within 24 hours of me contacting him to come and quote the job, he got the drone up to look at the work and to show me the footage. I was very happy with this as I could actually see what needed to be carried out and Harry made sure I was brought along for every step of the way showing me photos as the work that was being carried out. Harry and the team were extremely tidy and cleaned everything once the job was finished. He even left the scaffolding up for an extra few weeks at his own cost just to make sure the chimney/roof was completely fixed. Harry has a great knowledge of Kent Peg Tiles and Grade listed properties. He sourced reclaimed tiles to replace all the damaged ones on the roof.
