Tom and Kevin fixed my leaking garage roof. They removed the existing gully and replaced with new and replaced all rotten felt. They did a grand job and were very tidy. They took on the extra unexpected work without drama once tiles were removed.

Nick and his team carried out a significant amount of work on our 1850 Kent Peg Tiled, cottage. We had a roof valley completely stripped and retiled, 3 of 4 tile-hung top floor elevations stripped, insulated and retiled and a leak around a chimney fixed with new lead flashing and tiles. From the moment I met Nick I had complete confidence and trust in him, both in terms of his knowledge and experience in working with heritage properties, but also his professional and friendly manner. Nick has professional and personal integrity and is as honest as they come. No corners were cut, everything was done as it should be and lots of repair short cuts that had been taken over the life of the house were put back to how they should be. They encountered a few additional problems throughout the project, but Nick’s comment was always, ‘don’t worry, you’re in safe hands’ and, indeed, we were! Nick’s team are superb and adhere to his requirement for everything to be done correctly and neatly, as if they were working on their own properties; particular thanks to Tom who did a superb job for us. Nick’s team were extremely polite and respectful to us and our property, they turned up exactly when they said they would and kept us fully informed at every stage of the work. I wholeheartedly recommend Nick and his company: extremely knowledgeable, professional, reliable and honest- a ‘safe pair of hands’!

Nick and his team have carried out several roofing jobs for me, all of which I have been extremely happy with the end result. One of the past lead projects that was done unfortunately the lead came loose and fell out, after I contacted Nick he immediately came and repaired it, insisting the work was guaranteed and there would not be a charge, which I appreciated his integrity

Pete did an amazing job repointing. It's a mucky hard job, but it looks brilliant! Also, Jorden & Nicole did some roof repair. All of them are such hard workers and I cannot thank them enough! I'd highly recommend - Mrs Sims... My mother had the side of her bungalow repointed and some roof repair. She asked me to put this review online because it's too complicated for her. We had Alastair and his team over the entire Summer fully re-roofing our house with reclaimed Kent pegs and adding breathable insulation. All of the team were a joy to deal with and when any unexpected issues occurred, Alastair was quick to highlight them and suggest solutions. The quality of work was exceptional and we are having them back next year to re-tile and insulate our vertical tile hanging. Would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Tenterden Roofing did a wonderful roofing job for me a couple of years ago. They quoted a fair price which they stuck to. They supplied good quality materials that matched very well. The workmanship was really good and they used a good & competent scaffolding contractor. The roof, flashings & bargeboards look fantastic and you can tell it's been done to last by people who know what they're doing. Tenterden Roofing are thoroughly recommended.

We had to 'bite the bullet' and get the front part of our roof repaired and re-laid along with all the lead work around the chimneys re-done. Throughout the whole process Tenterden Roofing Co have been outstanding. The team of Alastair, Matt, Matt and Nick did an excellent job. Alastair provided a clear, detailed and reasonable quote which they kept to, they managed to start work earlier than expected, they were always punctual every day, their workmanship is of the highest standard and they were a pleasure to have around. We now have the smartest roof in the Weald and we are delighted with it and confident that it will still be going strong long after we are gone. It is often a gamble finding the right trades but I have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending Tenterden Roofing Co to anyone, especially if you have a period or listed building.

We discovered after the storms we had a ridge tile blown off but sitting on the roof. I called Affordable Roofing and call was answered and was told somebody would be round to quote, i got a courtesy call back to let me know someone would be with me within 30 minutes to quote, withing 90 minutes i had the quote which was very reasonable and they were able to repair the ridge tile on same visit. Highly recommend Affordable roofing, all the guys were polite and professional and reasonable priced and will definetlely use them again

Shopped around & decided to use this Co. So glad I did. The quote for the job, was just that.No hidden extras. No hard sell. Courteous, professional & a fabulous overall job. Existing tiles were reused to save costs. They scrubbed them up, so roof looks almost new. Highly recommend this company. John the boss, is a nice chappie as well.

While Tommy was completing a roof repair for a neighbour I asked if he did fascias, he was quick to confirm he did and when he finished came and checked what I needed. How refreshing to deal with somebody who is more concerned with doing a quality job rather than how much he can make out of it. We were very happy with his quote and he was happy to get it done before Christmas. The result is we now have new fascia and soffit and guttering that looks amazing, he even did a small porch as well. Thank you Tommy, thoroughly recommended.

Repaired chimney stack and replaced broken roof and ridge tiles to side of property. Work was done swiftly. Reported back with photos to show problems. Punctual and easy to talk to. Fingers crossed damp problem has gone.

H roofing were one of 6 or 7 roofing companies that I contacted for a quote for roof repairs, several of which came to our property and provided quotes with varying scope of repairs and pricing. We knew that we had one leak but did not know exactly where the water was getting in, and damp patches on internal chimney facing walls in one or bedrooms. It took a while for Henry (H Roofing) to respond to my initial enquiry seeking a quote, but he explained valid reasons for the delay. Henry came round the next Saturday morning, listened to what we thought needed fixing, then got his ladders of the van and got up onto our roof crest (we have a 3-story property) to take a proper look for himself. Although some of the other roofers who came to our property did get ladders out to look at our roof, Henry was the only one who got onto the roof to inspect the relevant areas close-up. When he came back down from the roof and explained carefully what he had seen and shown photos he had taken whilst up there and what work he thought was required, his attention to detail and his friendly, non-pushy way he conducted himself earned my trust that he knew what he was doing and would be able to resolve our roof issues. When I received the quote a couple of days later, I was pleased to see that the total cost was within our budget, so engaged H Roofing to do the work quoted for. We had had cheaper and more expensive quotes, so Henry’s was mid-range of our set. Our roof repairs required several sections where scaffold was required, this was all part of the total price quoted (something we had budgeted separately for just in case). The work took place over several week in August. At all times Henry kept me informed of when work would be carried out and when upfront deposit and final on completion payments would need to be made. As I was working from home through this period, I was always on hand then Henry had any questions re: work to be done, or to advise repairs done or any additional items that he thought needed to be brought to our attention. In the end we have several additional pieces of work done by H Roofing, including some soffit refixing repairs, but the additional cost was still within our budget. I was very happy with the service provided to us by H Roofing and would recommend them unconditionally. We did in fact refer one of our close neighbours to Henry whilst he was still on our site as they had had a leak in one of their flat roof sections, off the back of the level of service we had received from him.
