We enjoyed the dining and breakfast options and the convivence of the pub. The service was very good and polite we had traveled from USA and the staff was very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable could of maybe use another sitting chair otherwise was good. The location was originally why we booked here but now will return from the great experience.

It was great, lovely hotel, great breakfast, didn't spend much time in the room but was very nice and warm, beds really comfy. Only slight negative is the water pressure in the shower wasn't great, but it wasn't a problem.

Lovely hotel and bar restaurant. Decent size bedroom with modern amenities. We were snowed in and the staff went above and beyond to dig us out of the car park. We can’t thank them enough and will definitely be back

Really nice room, enjoyed the feel of the place. Enjoyed breakfast in the morning m, really different. I am a veggie and hate fake meat, so really enjoyed the beetroot hash. Really nice staff and a great sleep

Beautiful restaurant. We had the rump steak and medium rare, cooked perfectly. Staff really friendly and food was served quick. Really happy and will come again :)

Just got back from meeting up with friends. The food was delicious, the atmosphere great and we had exceptional service from Claire helped by Jess and Maddie. We enjoyed it so much we have booked to return for our Christmas get together. Thank you.

A great experience, a lovely welcoming atmosphere, nice fire burning making it very cosy. Clean in all areas. Staff were very polite and friendly. We were served today by Claire and Ellie. Our meals were well presented and very tasty, so thank you to Craig & Mitchell. Sorry didn't take any photos of the meals. I'm looking forward to my next visit and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic service by Izzy, Will, Emily and Claire, all polite, friendly and helpful. Well done guys thank for a lovely evening. We’ve Given the atmosphere a poor rating as the pub was so cold - accepting nothing the servers could sort. We will go again.

Staff were very warm and friendly. Room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We had a family room and both beds were exceptional. We are on the pub and food here was also lovely. Breakfast was pricey but it was delicious.

Just popped in to have a Sunday Lunch at the Foxglove in Huddersfield. First time we’ve visited. Was lovely in side, real fire burning on a snowy day. I had a beef and partner had the pork. Both was lovely, with right amount of vegetables and Yorkshire pudding, but the Pork was the best I’ve ever tasted, anywhere. Will go back just for that. everyone was really friendly and helpful, from the manager and especially Grace. Will definitely visit again..

its always a pleasant atmosphere when we visit but this was our 1st time in the evening and it was just lovely . the staff are excellent ,making sure the fire was burning , taking orders when they noticed we had finished drinks . after finishing our meal we asked for the tab to be moved from our dining table to the sofa area and they were very accommodating. will be calling again :)

We called for lunch, good choice on the menu, their website says dog friendly, the facilities, were more treating dogs like VIPs, a stack of dog water bowls available & a large water dispenser, rugs & blankets. The dog who was with us only complaint was no toys but who wants a dog playing & running around when we're trying to eat, once we'd explained that he was on board again. Food was great, large portions for lunch but great value.
