Absolutely amazing venue with delicious food and wine! We had our school mums Christmas night out here and when booking I spoke with the owner Regan who booked to top floor for us from 7pm until close as there were 20+ mums. Regan was very helpful and discussed food options with me and arranged a a very appetising charcuterie table which had so much food and selection that catered for everyone’s needs. The service on the night from Simeon and the staff was excellent. Both food a drink were very good value for money, We will definitely be booking our future get togethers here.

A fantastic place, perfect for a date night or out with friends. The food was excellent and the wine we had was so good we had to order another bottle. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit and we are looking forward to going back!

Came for our end of term works do so we had the upstairs to ourselves. We had the graze boards...i had the veggie one which was shared between 4 of us n there was plenty to eat. Inside was nice but some parts upstairs were not properly finished e.g ceiling painting was patchy n you could tell it wasnt taped off when done...but this didnt distract from the beautiful food n friendly bar staff though. I would defo visit again 😃

We have visited this restaurant more than any other since they opened in 2019 and the standards have always been high (in fact I think they get better!). The food is modern British cuisine using locally sourced seasonal ingredients and the flavours on offer are bold and delicious. The Sunday Lunch menu is a real highlight with 3 courses for £30 featuring a selection of Roast Dinners that are hard to beat. The Brunch menu is really varied with your traditional Full English, Eggs Benedicts, Avo on Toast as well as some new additions like Savoury Crepes and Pancake Stacks for the sweet tooths- you can also go bottomless with some refreshing Mimosas and Bellinis. The standard A La Carte has some fantastic options too- a decent list of small plates if you fancy tapas style as well as some gorgeous main course dishes to suit every palate. The signature Steak and Ale Pie is not to be missed and has been consistently good since day one! As we approach summer do not skip their stunning secret garden which on a sunny day makes you forget you are in Huddersfield- our favourite place to relax with great food and drinks. Talking of drinks, the wine list is extensive and they have picked some truly fabulous wines to pair with the food. There is also a cocktail list as well as local beers. Steve and Helen do an amazing job at running the best restaurant in Huddersfield- we highly recommend a visit but be warned you will keep going back for more

I believe The Scullery is the best restaurant in Huddersfield. I have now been 4 times, including for an anniversary dinner and even once just to have a sit down and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with a glass of mulled wine. The homemade food is always stunning, made with fresh and seasonal ingredients (they change their menu to fit the season because they use local products). I love their fish dishes and the second time I went I had the most amazing soup. The service is good and staff always do their best to accommodate even on busy days. I could not praise this place enough, absolutely love the food. The Scullery is a hidden gem and I will come again!!

What an amazing place. The staff were very helpful, friendly and responsive. The food was delicious, well presented and came in very generous portions.The roast beef I had was lovely and tender. Good choice of drinks, next time I might try a cocktail as they sound great. I can tell they really care about cleanliness too.

We had a family meal last night ( Saturday 21st Dec) and just had to write this review. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and it all came out perfect. The service was incredible, all the staff were so friendly and very attentive. A credit to them all… The owner ( Steve I think) was such a lovely man within the hospitality sector. We will all be definitely coming back to this beautiful restaurant in the near future. Highly recommended..

Went as a group of six on the recommendation of two in our group. Lovely restaurant, knowledgable waitress on the menu both food and drinks, great service and amazing food! Restaurant was closing and we were still sat around talking but not rushed out by staff. Would recommend and will also be back again.

This is the first time we have visited Sapori, but definitely not the last. The food was fabulous, tried food not had before and the staff were great, explained everything and answered our questions. Had lobster ravioli with linguine. Fantastic. Will be back soon.

Lovely restaurant, with great atmosphere and friendly, welcoming service. The food is gorgeous and beautifully presented, with a nice selection to choose from , that has changed each time I have been so there is always something different to try. Definitely recommend and a great addition to Lindley.

Always a great night here. Small , intimate , top notch food and service. Catered for an off site private party for me in August 2023. Wow! Our guests are still talking about it. No wonder you have to book to get a table as it’s so popular. Thanks Ben and team.

Went to The Barn for the first time tonight with a group of friends. We were so impressed. Lovely quirky little restaurant with a great atmosphere. Ben and the team are so lovely and welcoming and the service was spot on. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I had prawns to start - sublime. Then steak - perfection with a sauce that was so moorish I could have eaten a whole bowl of it on its own. To finish- churros- served hot and crisp with a dusting of sugar and cinnamon and a warm dipping chocolate - just divine. The rest of our party had goats cheese salads and chicken taco starters, followed by either steaks or sea bass. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be going back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfection from start to finish. We dined there last night and the experience was exceptional. Service headed up by James was exacting, warm and courteous - without being overly familiar or intrusive - not a skill set that’s easy to master. The food was bold, daring and delicate - and perfectly executed. A real cut above - 10/10

Great atmosphere and music

We’ve been coming to Grappolos for years for various birthdays and family get togethers! The food is always lovely, the waiters are always pleasant and welcoming. Thank you.

We have been going here for at least 18 years. We've always had fantastic service, excellent food and a good atmosphere. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Really packed & busy place. Credit to the staff who manage it all very well. The staff here are amazing: engaging, courteous, accommodating & friendly. The food is nice, although a little hit and miss sometimes. Some dishes are great. Always great quality however with some dishes the flavour isn't quite there. Still, we will be back again. Car parking can be an issue as its quite small for the size of the restaurant. Overall a positive experience, worth a visit.

We went for our date night here. From start to finish, everything was spot on – the food, the service, and the overall experience. The atmosphere really does feel as cosy as the name, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. Our server was fantastic, always making sure we were happy with everything. From starters to mains and drinks, it was all perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

Visited with friends and family recently and our visit was nothing short of spectacular. The atmosphere there is so welcoming, and the staff is super friendly. The dishes are not only delicious but also beautifully presented. It's definitely my go-to place for a lovely meal with great service. Our waitress was extremely accommodating to our dietary requirements and gave us recommendations which most definitely did not disappoint. Will definitely be visiting again!

Wide variety of good quality food and drink that is delivered to your table very quickly unique lighting to create atmosphere affordable but good for the money in portion size and taste/quality.Staff are very kind and friendly towards you.All food was fresh and tasty!Great place to eat if you’re in the area and I will definitely be returning!

We have come over for an evening meal after having take outs before from Cosy kitchen and the food only got better! We have decided to go with Polo Stroganoff and Polo Funghetto with Sautéed potatoes, and both meals were amazing albeit the Polo Funghetto tasted slightly better for us. We have also tried the cheesecake and it was really tasty and looked amazing too but there was a bit of ice on one side. It was still worth every penny. Staff was also really friendly and atmosphere was really nice in there. We also had a pizza and cheese chips with bacon for takeaway for tomorrow as both of those always taste nice even reheated.

Great food. Best burgers about. So tasty and the home made fries are something else, all fresh farm produce, really good pricing too. Bloke who makes the food is really friendly and chatty. Best cafe in Huddersfield. None of that cheap frozen stuff. Massive hats off to the team, you will not find a better burger anywhere FACT

Had bacon cheese burger and it was delicious. Freshly made, fresh mince smashed there on the grill. The staff were super friendly and those fries are something else. Good price too. Will defo be going there again as I love a good burger. I’d been past so many times and wondered what food they did. Now I know and I urge you to try it too.

Top marks to the Royal & Ancient. Over on holiday from Australia my sister wanted to treat me to a high tea. It is not on the menu but the team at the pub pulled out all the stops and we had one of my tastiest high teas ever. Scotch Eggs, oh how I've missed you 😍 Highly recommended.

I think this may be one of the best roasts I've had. The portions were very generous, with huge Yorkshire puds and my pork was done perfectly! I really like the special little touches on the plates too, like the crab apples and pigs in blankets. The service was great and very quick, and the pub had a lovely cosy feel too.

This place deserves its 5 stars - had a fantastic meal there and it was absolutely Top Drawer. The ham shank is huge - filet beef served pink as described and beautifully seared. Finished with Bakewell and Sticky Toffee pudding. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful Xmas Eve dinner !

Stopped in for a cocktail as part of a Baby shower afternoon. The main bar was really busy, so they welcomed us into the cellar bar even though it wasn't quite open yet. Had a beautiful cocktail and everyone in the party really enjoyed their drinks too. Thanks ks for your hospitality.

Wow, still in awe. From the moment we stepped foot in the Manor House in January 2022, we fell in love. The place visually is just stunning and the few staff I met that day were wonderfully helpful. We enjoyed planning the wedding the following 2 years, and got to meet more and more people. They got a grasp of our vision and made a real effort to get to know us on a personal level. Fast forward to our wedding on Friday 16th August 2024. The greatest day of our entire lives. The team worked endlessly to create our vision perfectly, they were there solely for us and every single guest. Keeping our drinks full and supplying the most beautiful food! Nothing was too much trouble at all. Simply stunning, flawless and a dream. Every single guest commented on the venue and the staff, and to top it off every single room we booked for those staying with us was gorgeous, clean and unique. We will truly miss visiting Manor House Lindley and we cannot even come close to giving them the thank you they deserve 🫶🏼

Sunday lunch in the fabulous, decadent and tastefully decorated Manor House does not disappoint. The 40 day aged rump served pink, with the obligatory Yorkshire pudding and roast veg is just about the best I can ever remember having been served. Similar story with the desserts. Add first class, attentive service and you're onto a winner. Thank you to the team for a lovely afternoon.

One of the best places I've stayed. I was there for one night and was blown away by the attention to detail. Small things like the shower head pointing away from you when you turn on the shower so you don't get sprayed, proper porcelain cups in the room, lovely selection of Taylor's teas and a kettle that does adjustable temperatures so you can, for example have your green tea at 80 degrees. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was wonderful. As a lone, female guest, I felt incredibly safe as you have to scan your card to get through doors before you get to the rooms. The temperature control in the room was great. I like a cool room for sleeping and it was perfect! I could go on and one. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the cappuccino was actually frothy, not just a big cup of milk. Thank you so much!
