Had a lovely evening here taking my Dad out for a birthday meal. We were treated so well, with recommendations of the best dishes and advice on how much to order. The food was delicious, the service outstanding, and we can’t wait to come back!

Excellent food at reasonable prices. What makes this restaurant special is the atmosphere and the incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Love this place. Unfortunately we live 220 miles away and can only visit once or twice a year.

Visited on a Friday evening and although busy we were looked after quickly. Knowledgeable staff helped us through the menu and we ordered their suggestions. An excellent choice and the food- obviously all cooked fresh arrived with 20 minutes. All was perfect and although busy there was no effort to hurry up our experience. Back very soon.

We went in for a late Friday night curry and the staff were very accommodating. We asked our server to surprise us with a few of the dishes and they were all fantastic! We will definitely be coming back

Best Chinese in town by far. Staff are always accommodating and very friendly. The food is amazing, well worth a visit if you're staying in town or a night in.

Service was a little slow and they fine you £100 if you forget to register your car with their app (on a pub iPad) when parking in the pub car park. Having said that, the food was good, though unlikely to appeal to those looking for a wide range of healthy options. The coffee was ok.

We have been twice recently, once for breakfast and once for a late decision dinner with our grand-dog in tow. On both occasions we were greeted with enthusiasm and made to feel very welcome. The food was very good on both visits. Particularly the breakfast on the Saturday morning. Well done to the hardworking staff for making sure we were well catered for.

We had a lovely lunch today at the Vauxhall my husband had the smothered chicken and I had the pan fried salmon both meals were delicious with generous portions Mary-Ann and Josh are always so welcoming and cheerful and very professional. I would thoroughly recommend the Vauxhall it has a lovely atmosphere there is a good selection of drinks and the food is always first class and reasonably priced. Large carpark at the rear is ideal and the pub is dog friendly so a great place to meet up with friends.

We were staying at the premier inn next door and fancied some late lunch. We booked a table however when we turned up it may have been okay to not book as it was fairly quiet but it was midweek. Really enjoyed the cute interior and dried flowers. Staff were super friendly and very attentive, cannot fault the service. We both ordered burgers which were super yummy! One beef and one chicken. Would certainly eat here again if we stayed back at the premier inn.

Verdigris is always incredible, fantastic food and atmosphere. They always take note of requests and staff are so friendly and attentive. They go above and beyond to make each visit memorable. Had a high table on the terrace which was awesome! Best views over the river and the cheese board and rose were so delicious (and very instagrammable haha) Very enjoyable afternoon! We’ll be back for sure! Thank you!

Excellent small bar / restaurant serving excellent food ….can recommend the oven roast chicken and the 10 oz ribeye . Friendly service adds to this little gem 👍😎

Nice quiet place by the river. Good selection of veggie options, and the food is presented and tastes great whilst the prices were still reasonable. It has outdoor seating too, that even on a cold grey day; it was still nice to sit there and have a tasty lunch.

Popped in for a coffee to meet up with a friend. Cannot comment on the food but the plates brought out looked nice enough. A very relaxed place with music just below conversation level so didn't have to shout. Excellent location in town and a perfect place to meet up. The decoration is tasteful enough to give the place a nice ambiance.

The people who work there are friendly and tolerant, paitient and hard working with good service. Good food and good people

Looks and is basic, good clean cheap. You can sit and eat in again since Covid on one of the long communal bench tables. I had a vegetable noodle dish with green tea, both were very nice. I have never had anything here which I wish I had not had later, that often happens with over intensively enhanced food flavour, which is nice at the moment. This food is nice at the moment and is nice later.

I love it here. I have been ordering here for the last 9 years or so on & off. (I don't eat any other take away food & fast food at all and picky with the quality of my food and don't compromise) Despite it looks like a small take away place, the quality of the food is really good, portions are generous indeed. Their Ramen Soup are absolutely wonderful, no other take away places all around this area offer full main meal size of Ramen Soup except tiny little bowl size. Although I have "my usual" to order on regular basis, I heard from my friends that they speak highly of the food here. If its cooked with Love & smile as well, that's even more bonus. We rolled up after a panto at Tonbridge school and decided to eat in. The service was very welcoming and the young man serving was very knowledgable and helped us to try some great new dishes. The food came out on on plates accompanied with cutlery and was delicious. We were happy with the variety quality and presentation of all our dishes. They even gave us a doggy bag as the portion sizes were generous. The canteen style seating added to the friendly atmosphere. Overall a very pleasant experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Excellent value for money. Good range of food from good quality Lamb Madras, Thai curry and a number of Chinese dishes. Black Forest dessert and ice creams also included. All options were topped up (which from other reviews was once a problem). Service was attentive - we never had to wait for anything. This is the first time visiting and will certainly be back and have recommended to friends.

Great Chinese takeaway. We have gone here for the past years and food is one of best Chinese takeaways have ever had and I'm not a big takeaway fan! Not sure what other reviewers have had but thoroughly recommend Singapore rice noodles, satay chicken on skewers, General Tso Chicken is fabulous, their chow mien is good too. I also find that they have some Japanese starters, katsu curry and teriyaki dishes on their menu, which is great. And Love Eat started doing prawn crackers too!

This shop is recently renovated and it’s my first visit after they reopened. The staff and chefs are Chinese so I ordered chow mien, and I was not disappointed. Piping hot rice vermicelli with lots of flavour, and the prawn toasts were crispy. At this price I cannot ask for more. The till lady was friendly and was delighted when she knew I speak Chinese. We chatted a bit while waiting, and it wasn’t long, around 5 minutes my order was ready.

Their bubble tea is always good but their food is the best. It's good value for money and always one of those dishes that never look big but your stuffed at the end. Staff are always nice and friendly. With two quite picky daughters, this place never fails to satisfy their hunger!

Came here back in February I think it was. Me and my wife both had ramen, pretty affordable and tasted great. We really enjoyed the tuna sushi though, we'll eventually be back. The fellow behind the till was very pleasant too.
