My parents stayed for a short break over the past week. This is what you will get: - Well located with safe car park - Wholesome food and menu - Friendly, approachable and responsive service - Adequate rooms (ageing)* - Good value per night - Well suited for alternative restaurants, fuel and snacks My parents enjoyed the stay and wanted to underline the level of attention the staff went to, to make it an enjoyable stay. * at the point of writing, but we learnt the new management will be starting a total refresh over the Winter of 2024-25. Much needed but will make a big difference.
My wife and I went here for a spot of lunch and the best way to describe it is as decent pub grub. Good value and worth a visit.
We had a lovely stay, the team were very accommodating. Very helpful and friendly. Great food and service in a fine old pub.
Great pub, great Beer the food was top notch (I’d recommend the loaded fries) more of a main than a side. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Fantastic value!
Convenient location for stop-over over on Kent coast bike trip. Comfy rooms, good beer and food at a sensible price. Breakfast also fine. Staff very nice. Safe bike storage.
