Attended last night for birthday surprise and wasn't disappointed. The staff were very attentive throughout the evening. Head Chef Lee has created a menu which is a delight. The menu to make a decision which of the 5 starters & 6 mains to choice was extremely hard as I could and was tempted to have one of each. The food was as good as u can get the flavours were exquisite. The pairing of wine is a great idea. You will not be disappointed in booking here. Will be returning.

I came here for an anniversary meal and it didn't disappoint. Don't let the exterior pub-like look fool you. On the inside, it's a fine dining experience. Incredible food and service. The only reason it gets 3 stars for the atmosphere is because we went on a Monday which was very quiet. Will definitely be back for the tasting night which sounded excellent.

Get in quick before it gets a star. Service- relaxed but very professional Drink - well recommended Food - for £100 a head in London easily. Seriously superb food. The dishes take you on a journey the team design and deliver on. Went for a birthday, will now “have to go back” to regularly check quality.

Had an amazing evening at The Hopbine Pub in Matfield! The food was absolutely incredible—highlights for us were the Franconian Chorizo, Loaded Hash Browns with truffle mayo, the Hopbine Smash Burger, and the Vecna Sourdough Pizza fresh from the wood-fired oven. The staff were exceptionally friendly (special shout out to Finn & JB who in particular went above and beyond with their 5-star service), making the whole experience even better. The pub itself is stunning, a cosy classic British inn with roaring log fires and a great selection of local ales. Plus, you can stay at the Airbnb above the pub, which makes it a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

Fantastic pub in the quaint village of Brenchley Kent. Food was delicious, the kids loved the pizza. Beer choice perfect. Ambiance 100%. Felt like a real British pub. Outdoor seating and parking too!

One of the finest little pubs I've ever visited, tucked away and truly remarkable! If you're local and this pub is on your doorstep, don't take it for granted. The food is unbelievable, and the atmosphere is complemented by a fantastic group of people who really understand their customers. Superb drinks and the best food around! Don't hesitate to visit! 👌🏼

Absolutely lovely desserts in the picturesque riverside garden. The friendly pub cat joined us for tea and brownies in the sunshine - perfection! The staff were friendly (shout out to Claire in particular for her great recommendations and kindness to me when I knocked the milk over)

Great place for a catch up with friends. The staff are friendly and very welcoming, the bar is very 'country' with an inglenook and the toilets are spotless...a good indicator I find! The food is homemade; I had the calves liver on a bed of mash with bacon and onions, followed by the salted caramel cheesecake...it was A-MA-ZING...best meal I've had in such a long time and believe me I am a fussy eater. The prices were reasonable too and I will definitely be visiting again very soon! Big Thank You and well done.

We had a fantastic meal and service at the star. A quaint pup with character, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed me to amend my meal to reduced the carbs which was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. My family all had pies and they were epic! Over all a lovely meal with great service.

I had a lovely meal on a reasonably quiet Monday and returned for an emphatic show of local talent at Tuesday Open Mic 🎤 night. Singers range from 18 to 80. Ring leader The Great Santino is an incredible musician and kind supportive host. Food is varied and all terrific, excellent beers and wonderful staff. The kind of place you come every night, and many do. A real pub.

Visited for a light lunch. My wife had the fish finger flat bread, and I had the cheese melt steak flat bread. The children had chicken nuggets, chips, and beans. The quality of the food was very good and surprisingly so for the children's nuggets. They were whole chunks of chicken breast battered and fried and a decent amount of them as well. The steak was cooked exactly as I asked, medium rare, and a decent cut of meat. The portions served was about the right size for a light lunch. The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. I am looking forward to my next visit.

The meats were just right and so where the veg and the roasts wish I had more . We would really like to say a Big Thank You to the kitchen staff who always give us all a fantastic meal . What a great team . All the staff are amazing . Thank you for a great time . See you soon sorry forgot to take a picture of the carvery.

We are here having a Sunday roast lunch, the place looks very clean, staffs are very helpful and cheerful. Tasty meats carvery and variety vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, cheese cauliflower and gravy. The good thing is the vegetables, roast potatoes and gravy are allow to top up, but not the meats that you can only go for one. That is enough for the whole day. I definitely will come back as price is very reasonable and good value for this economy. I recommend this place to other people. 👍👍

Called in on a Monday tea time, I'd had a mare of a day on the M25 (usual I know !! ) and need a bit of tea before heading back to Lincolnshire but didn't want a Mac D or fast food so popped in here. Was met by a nice freindly member of staff who showed me straight to a table, lovely and warm in the pub, I ordered Gammon with 2 fried eggs, I didn't have to wait long, the gammon and eggs were cooked to perfection, the food was piping hot, and clearly had not been sat under a hot lamp at all. It's definitely worth a visit, lovely staff, thank you. The car park could definitely do with a tidy up, but certainly don't let that put you off.

Can't beat this place for the price and quality of their Sunday carvery. Been here a number of times now and the roasts have all been great. Would definitely recommend.
