I went there as part of a large group, and, despite the fact that we were eating at their busiest time, the staff were amazing. Being a large group we had pre-ordered our choices (a very good idea, as it turned out), so started, desserts and alternatives to the seasonal carvery were ready in good time. The food was delicious, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly or efficient. We go there on other occasions, too, and the welcome, service, and delicious food is always there. Thank you to the manager, front of house team, chef and kitchen crew. We probably won’t get in this side of Christmas (I suspect you are fully booked), so have a wonderful Christmas!
3 of the 4 staff in the eating area were very polite and helpful. The 4th ( non uniform manageress) turned us away because we asked for a table for 4 in an half empty restaurant.. so went back 5 minutes later and asked for 2 tables for 2 and the very polite staff said we could actually have a table for 4 as they had lots of room .
Could not give these guys a higher rating! Every single staff member was super accommodating and friendly but Gabby was an absolute super star and made my entire festive season! She went above and beyond to accommodate our huge group and I cannot express how much it meant to us. We had a wonderful evening sitting all together thanks to Gabby. You are the best!!
