Photos don't do the food justice really, every dish we had tasted different yet really tasty. One the 3 starters we had was Thoong Thong (chicken) gray crunchy pastry parcel yet not greasy. We could have been lucky with Mains but they all looked fab and tasted even better, although I felt as though we could have ordered anything and it would have been enjoyed. Staff where quiet but attentive, no complaints at all.

Very nice Thai restaurant. It deserves the awards it's won. After looking online for a nice Thai restaurant I found that a lot of websites highly recommended Thai palace, so took a look at their website and menu and found that the food they had was what I was looking for at reasonable prices. I was able to book a table via their website which was great and good thing too as they are very popular so booking in advance is a must. We went there and didn't have to wait at all being greeted by a waitress and directed to our table. One thing I like about the service was that they didn't straight away all about ordering any drinks, but have is some time to sit and relax, and peruse the menu first (a lot of places straight away ask you what drink you want before you've fully sat down which is not a good experience). After taking our orders the food tasted very fresh and delicious, with the time between starter and main course being well placed. One extra thing I thought was very good was the drinks menu going off what was set. As I was driving so didn't want any alcohol they made me a mocktail to go with the cocktail my wife ordered even though there wasn't any provision for it on their menu. I thought that was a nice touch. I had the tempura prawns for starter, my wife having the vegetable option, which was delicious. The main I had a beef green curry with coconut rice which was equally as tasty, my wife having fried fish with vegetables which was also tasty. One thing which amazed me was how the food stayed hot for the duration of the meal and when initially presented. Not sure how they manage this, but even when I was having the last bite it was equally as hot as the start. This was amazing and great as it keeps the food very tasty with a lot of restaurants not having food at that temperature at the beginning of the meal nor last that long. 5/5 for presentation and taste and they are well deserving of the status. I will definitely go back as I want to try another main on their menu which was the seafood. They also deliver, but I don't think I'd take up that option as seated dining was great.

Took a spur of the moment decision to come here on a Saturday night. I was surprised that the restaurant was not busy but the food did not disappoint. Hot, fresh, and tasty dishes at a reasonable price. A very relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The only negative thing for me is that the restaurant interior looks a little dated, but that did not detract from the experience.

We came in for the Sunday buffet and had a lovely time. The place was busy, but only reassuringly so. Staff were kind and attentive, and took good care of my wife who has specific but severe allergies. There were some families there with young kids so it got a bit loud from them at times, but you can't really fault them for that, and the staff weren't afraid to (politely) ask them to quite down, which they did for the most part. The buffet experience was different to most places; they simply allow you to order rounds of food of a highly varied menu, as many times as you want. This format actually ended up making more sense than the usual free-for-all, and I'm convinced now it's the better way. The food was quick and so wonderfully fresh, crispy and hot. The portions were reasonable, and we were safe in the knowledge we could order more if wanted. This ultimately led to a much better dining experience and basically no food waste. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who likes either a wide assortment or a high volume of outstanding Chinese food. Truly a Succulent Chinese Meal for the ages. P.s. even if you don't usually go for tofu, take this opportunity to try the fried bean curd. Easily the best thing I had today, I will dream of it tonight.

Absolutely delicious food last night. Could not fault it. Duck was delicious, Crispy Beef was so beautifully cooked. Everything tasted so fresh and yum! Cocktails were so tasty. Our server was very nice and so attentive. My friend had a lovely birthday meal and really enjoyed herself, so Thanks Crown City!

The best Thai restaurant in UK. I've been to many Thai restaurants in the UK and this one is my favourite. Authentic Thai food taste, every menu is delicious. Big nice and clean restaurant with good service. You won’t disappointed. Recommend 👍🏻

The service in here was great. Recommend the yellow curry noodles and tom kha, both were delicious. Tasted exactly like what we had in Chiang Mai!

We came without the booking and got a big table with round sofa near the window. Which was very nice as we were just 2 of us and there were smaller tables available. Our bill was £82: starter, 2 ciders, 1 Jinro bottle, 2 mains. Service was very fast, from taking the order to serving us our food.

There is an extension menu selection so there plenty to choose from and at very reasonable prices. The portion sizes are very reasonable. The staff were fantastic and very efficient. Overall a wonderful experience and recommend anyone that like Thai food to give it a try.

This cozy Thai restaurant offers a delightful blend of authentic flavors with fresh ingredients. The Raw papaya salad & vegan fried rice were served fresh & quick. The friendly staff and warm ambiance make it a great spot for a casual, satisfying meal. Recommended for Thai food lovers!

We always had a wonderful dining experience at Thai Orchid. It’s our favourite local Thai restaurant, we’ve been a customer since their Kings Hill restaurant. The Thai food was absolutely lovely - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine in a great setting!

A brilliant pub, the staff are so friendly, attentive and helpful and the food is amazing. We had a buffet for my daughter's 18th celebration and family/friends who came were all raving about the food and the staff helped us decorate. Shout out to Millie, Vicky and Emily (I think!) But all staff so helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Gorgeous decor, we were able to choose our table near the fireplace which was so cosy and warm. The pub wasn't overcrowded which makes us easy to chat with friends. FOH was very attentive, friendly and polite. The food was delicious but I found the portions a bit small. I would return back for sure.

A very pleasant country pub with comfortable seating in both the large restaurant and in the pub section. There is also plenty of seating outside and a good sized free car park. The menu is mainly English fare, fish and chips, various burgers but also meals with vegetables and potatoes. The food is mid priced eg. Fish and chips is around £17. I received good service from the waiting staff and my food came up in good time. I didn't feel rushed at all and after my meal I sat in the bar area for a coffee where there were some nice comfortable soft chairs. There are good options for vegetarians here. There is a weekday set menu offering 2 or 3 courses and there are some daily specials.

The food was really good and tasty. The employee's response was excellent, and the way they wrapped the food and interacted with customers was impressive. I had the chicken tikka wrap, and the presentation was great. Overall, it was a very positive experience."

I took my wife and two young children this evening. The welcome was really friendly and welcoming from all of the staff. The service was very attentive, but not too rushed. The food was excellent. We were really impressed and will be returning very soon 😁
