Went in for unplanned lunch. One of us had the Jacket potatoe with Chilli Con Carne, the other the Double Cheese burger with fries and Onion Rings, plus drinks. Family run business, it was definitely a locals pub, however, they were extremely helpful friendly and welcoming. I’ll return if I’m in the area again.
A fabulous way to spend a sunday afternoon. Roast beef dinner followed by traditional pudding. Delicious! Staff very friendly and made us feel welcome. Well worth a visit and will definitely come again.
Such a shame but temporarily closed. Have had many a great lunch and beers here and wish Tony all the best and would be great to see this gem reopen for business when and if conditions permit.
Lovely friendly family run pub Food excellent and plentiful. Pleasant garden and a real village atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Mid Thursday afternoon visit and more than a few customers in. Very friendly greeting on arrival. Six real ales available with a good selection of local and further afield. One went off while we were there and changed fairly quickly. Those I had were in good condition.
