Rating: 4.2 (503) Price Level:
Authentic Thai food, pictured are Chicken Pad Thai £11, and Chicken satay x4 skewers £6.50; as on November 2024. Highly recommended, there is good seating available, and sometimes they open the downstairs too. Reasonable prices and fresh tasty food, this place is always busy - highly recommend.

The mains were fantastic, hot, spicy, and packed with flavour. The dumplings arrived cold, and hard. The waitress was very rude, and inattentive. We sat at the bottom.
Rating: 4 / 5
I have always walked past this place but never went in to try it until today. This place is always packed with people and I can tell why!!! The place was full so the waitress took us downstairs with a lot more seating available. The food was delicious as expected, we got recommended a bunch of items from the waitress and they all turned out to be delicious. My favourite was the starter which was the prawn and chicken dumplings!!! Highly recommended this place.

Looking for a cheap and cheerful Thai spot in London? This place is a hidden gem. It's clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is amazing. From pad thai to green curry, they have it all. And the best part? It's super affordable! Just remember, it's cash only and BYOB.

The Kilburn Arms
99-101 Willesden Ln, London NW6 7SD, UK | Pub P: 020 3561 5854
Rating: 4.4 (592) Price Level:
A nice pub that has live music. The food is pretty good value for what you get through, it is not the best food around. The food service is excellent with dishes supplied quickly and the clear away things promptly as well. All from friendly happy staff. The drinks are reasonably priced and it is a nice place to watch some live music. The bar staff are also very helpful and friendly. The place (main bar and eating area) is kept clean and tidy. Not sure how wheelchair friendly the place is as both entrances I used had steps and narrow doors. The toilets were clean and tidy at the start of the evening, but less so as the night went on, which may just be a sign of how busy it was.
Rating: 5 / 5
We stay here when visiting rellies. Comfy huge bed. Clean. Good wifi. Lovely shower room. Fridge. The pub downstairs is atmospheric. Great food and drinks. Good sized pub garden. Welcoming efficient staff.

September 2024 Edit: Stayed here again with family for two nights. The Kilburn Arms have ‘upped their game’ and the food is now great, but still a tiny bit of room for improvement and then it would be excellent. Good quality food at fair prices and now offering breakfast service from 7AM which, is a massive plus. Nothing worse than waking up and then having to hunt down somewhere for Breakfast. The Breakfast Menu is good with lots of choices, including Smoked Salmon/ Full English/ Scrambled Eggs etc. I also recommended their home-made Juices, especially Celery & Ginger. Still the usual niggly problems with the Rooms, such as a Shower-head being loose and lack of power/ heat, just general maintenance. The Fire Alarm Call-Point is missing in the Hotel Lobby! But, overall, well done Kilburn, this is a big improvement! *** I/ We have stayed at the Kilburn Arms many times both for work and pleasure. We have had some really good stays, good food/ entertainment. However, I feel that the food has gone considerably downhill and the service has lacklustre - bringing out Starters and Mains at the same time is a No-No and then leaving Fish & Chips on the Hotplate makes them dry and stale. The attention to detail has all but gone. If I want to stay at the Kilburn I usually send a WhatsApp message to the very friendly Landlady (Evie) but even her replies have become hit & miss. The Kilburn usually has some good entertainment in the evenings which can be really enjoyable. The rooms are clean, warm and spacious, but now seem to be lacking simple maintenance, for example, the sink plug missing, no Mirror in room, Shower hose burst and spurting out everywhere. We usually pay £90 per room for two people, this does NOT include any Breakfast. I like coffee after a meal, but this time even the Coffee machine was broken and the staff were moaning about how old it is and that it never works. We will return, but for now we will be looking for a new venue to stay at. We hope that the Kilburn can get it together again soon as it can be a really good venue.

The Black Lion Pub & Boutique Guesthouse
274 Kilburn High Rd, London NW6 2BY, UK | Pub P: 020 3876 8204
Rating: 4.4 (1174) Price Level:
We loved our stay here! From the moment we walked in to this gorgeous building it was clear that everyone who worked at the Black Lion was going to ensure we had a fantastic stay. We had a king room and it was stunning. It felt so luxurious and was very quiet despite there being a pub downstairs. We very much enjoyed the included breakfast and appreciated the kind service from everyone we encountered here. They all went out of their way to help us out and we are very thankful. The location was great as we had friends living nearby, but it was also very easy to get into the city or other attractions by bus, Underground or Uber. We truly couldn't recommend the Black Lion enough. You simply must experience it for yourself!
Rating: 4 / 5
The interior details, service, food, and environment was perfect for this hotel! The accommodations were spacious, welcoming, and beautifully prepared. The staff Were very kind, and went above and beyond more than once. They surprised me by decorating my room when I was out on my birthday. They even came and killed the spider one day that I noticed wandering the wall! They offered to carry bags, and made sure everything was clean into our liking. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the fireplace, warm food, and wonderful service were over the top! The only downfall is the location it is in. About a 3 minute walk to the underground, not bad - but the businesses between the hotel and tube were very unclean, unkempt, so abandoned, and a little less presentable. it wasn’t ideal for comfortably walking around at night outside. But once you were at the pub and boutique, everything changed!
Rating: 5 / 5
Great weekend stay. Room was very comfortable with Rituals toiletries. Breakfast was continental style but enough to start your day (sourdough bread was really lovely). The pub was busy in the evening and had a good vibe and friendly staff. Good location - only a 5 minute walk from tube station. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby
Rating: 5 / 5
A really warm and helpful welcome by guest house managers and pub staff. The room (twin) was spacious and elegantly furnished, with all mod cons including good quality coffee. Breakfast was generous. The building is 200+ years old, Grade 2 listed (historic protected) and really fine, both inside and out. Neighbourhood has many interesting small restaurants. Wishing the new owners every success.
Rating: 5 / 5
We had a great stay at this pub and what a beautiful pub it is! A proper boozer as they say. The room was clean and comfortable with lovely decor. The continental breakfast was great too, with lots of choice. It's about half an hour on the Tube or by Uber from the city centre but the price reflects that. Definitely recommend this pub as a place to stay in London.

Priory Tavern Kilburn
250 Belsize Rd, London NW6 4BT, UK | Pub P: 020 7624 8044
Rating: 4.4 (657) Price Level:
The Priory Tavern is local to us and recently changed ownership in the last 5 months. The menu caught our eyes as we were walking past. The food did not disappoint. The liver patte was excellent, and the roast was full of flavour. It also had a lot going on, which I personally love. Lots of veg, incredible potatoes, and a very tasty bit of beef. The staff were brilliant and the pub was very spacious. Board games, jazz night, and quiz nights to come. We will be back for sure!
Rating: 5 / 5
Really great eating experience. I went twice during my five day trip in London. The burgers were delicious and I enjoyed the ambience. The servers were very accomodating and attentive to my party. For this to be a neighborhood bar, it also doubles as a nice dining night out. My only issue, albeit very minimal, was the amount of fries. I wish there'd been more, but that's probably a culture thing on my part. I would visit again.

Nice and quiet lunch with GOOD food. Impressed by the jerk chicken and fish and chips was perfect.
Rating: 5 / 5
Just been in for some food after a day of travelling. Treated myself to a steak and just hoped it was edible to be honest. It was the most succulent perfectly cooked rib eye with homemade horseradish and a watercress and caper salad. Was delicious, my daughter had a burger and ate it all! Nice atmosphere and good beer selection. Can’t wait to come back.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Priory Tavern, and I must say it was an absolute delight. As a jazz enthusiast, I was thrilled to discover that the pub boasts an incredible live jazz music scene. The experience was truly top-notch in terms of the music, atmosphere, and the overall crowd. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the smooth sounds of live jazz music floating through the air. The talented musicians on stage created an enchanting ambiance that immediately transported me into the heart of the jazz scene. The selection of jazz styles and genres performed was diverse and impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes. What truly stood out was the vibrant and inviting vibe of the Priory Tavern. The atmosphere was relaxed, yet electric, with a perfect balance of energy and intimacy. The dim lighting, cozy seating, and tasteful decor all contributed to creating a charming and welcoming setting that enhanced the overall jazz experience. The crowd at the Priory Tavern was a mix of jazz enthusiasts and music lovers, creating a dynamic and appreciative environment. It was evident that people came here not only for the music but also to connect and engage with fellow jazz aficionados. The sense of camaraderie and shared love for jazz added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening.

Best food ever, proper Italian flavours. Rahul, our waiter was just one of the bests. Attentive, polite and never too pushy. Very attentive to our children as well. The extra mile was extended to two miles at least :-) Many thanks for the whole dinner experience.

Kish Persian Restaurant
7-9 Kilburn High Rd, London NW6 5SD, UK | Restaurant P: 020 7624 2525
Rating: 4.4 (3027) Price Level:
Food is amazing! Aburgine appetizer was perfect to start. The lamb skewers were soft and flavorful. It's such a large direction and everything was delicious.
Rating: 5 / 5
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Kish Restaurant in London, and I can confidently say it's one of the best Persian experiences I've had. If you're craving authentic Persian food, this is the place to be. Their menu is a monstrous 33 pages long, and each dish comes with a photo so even a non-Persian like me could easily navigate and choose something delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The portions are HUGE, so be prepared to leave feeling incredibly full and satisfied. The food arrived promptly, and it was absolutely mouthwatering. From the succulent kebabs to the flavorful stews, every bite was a delight. Whether you prefer to dine indoors or outdoors, Kish has you covered. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. Just be aware that it gets super busy on weekends, so booking a table is essential unless you're feeling adventurous. And if you're too lazy to leave the house, don't worry! Kish offers both delivery and pickup services. It might be a bit on the pricier side, but trust me, the food and service are totally worth every penny. This place is a hidden gem, and I can't wait to go back and explore more of their delicious menu.
Rating: 5 / 5
The food is absolutely amazing, and the staff are lovely from start to finish. I would like to thank the amazing lady, Filis, who helped us choose our food and checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Her smile never left her face. Thank you for the incredible food and service – we will definitely come back!
Rating: 5 / 5
I can not fault this place. One of the very best and reputable Iranian (Persian) restaurant in London. The quality of food is high standard and to be honest the volume of it is huge! The service was good, fast and friendly. The atmosphere is good but when busy you might be seated in new extended part of the restaurant. I will definitely recommend this place for overall quality but the food is the best.

Absolutely love coming here. Booked 2 Christmas dinners because the standard is so good. Food is fantastic and prices are affordable so its the ideal place to choose. They also decorate the Christmas table and make it really festive. Max in particular who served us, was so helpful and kind, always checking up on us and making sure everything was okay. 5 star for him and credits to the manager John who is spot on and always available to help customers' queries.

The food was delicious, quite cheap for London prices and very quickly prepared. Would recommend for anyone, anytime.
