Nice pub hosting excellent entertainment.
The Scarborough pub is our local pub and having not been since before covid. Today we took our daughter for her 18th birthday. The land lady is very welcoming and a nice lady to talk to like you have known her for years. The atmosphere was perfect as a British pub that sadly we are losing too many of. Prices were much better than we was expecting and they even do hot fresh cooked food. The land lady was even king enough for us to have 4 games of pool for free for her birthday. All in all a great local pub to our area and very clean. Thank you for making our daughters 18th just that little bit better. One one thing. The young gent that was helping set up the pub with his mum what a guy very hard working and very grown up well done pall you will go far in life with your skills.
This place ticks all the boxes: fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff, great prices, and delicious food!
Local traditional pub,its perfect as it is,pool table,dart board,afew tvs scatterd about,comfy seating good beer,lovely staff,outdoor area out back,for the love of god please don't change! X
Food is now back on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunch please check with Rachel for times. The food is general pub grub burgers pizzas etc but does look well presented and is fantastic value for money at 2 for £12. The Sunday lunch looks and is fantastic all home cooked, giant Yorkshire puds, nicely cooked fresh veg, we had the beef which was nice n tender. At £12 very good value for money. All the staff are helpful n friendly. It can get a bit noisy at peak times but it is a sports come music pub so only to be expected. Sunday lunch needs to be booked in advance there are three time slot 11, 1 and 3 pm. We went for the 3pm service and it was fairly quiet. Overall one of the best home made Sunday lunches we have had.Highly recommend. 😀😃
