Really good fish and chips from the grumpy fryer! no grumpy service however, everyone is very pleasant and helpful. good value and worth a visit.
Really glad we chose to stop here when looking for a chippy in the area - trust the many great reviews, glad we did! Delicious food, really reasonable prices, very generous portions and lovely staff, thoroughly recommend, will definitely go here again next time we're in the area. Might even say it's the best fish and chips I've had!
Can’t fault it ! The secret recipe batter is some of the best I’ve ever tasted!! Nicely portioned & presented. Only problem is that they weren’t grumpy 😠 Will be returning 👍👍👍
First time called here and it was absolutely lovely. I ordered a large fish with regular chips with a small tub of curry sauce. The staff that served me were so polite and friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The large fish tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection and the batter was just right, not too thick. The chips were delicious also, no crispy or hard bits. And the curry sauce I approve of too. Well worth the price for the quality. Would Recommend!
Gorgeous traditional English fish and chips. The service is really friendly and warm, and portion sizes are great.
