“On a family holiday in the Yorkshire Dales, we decided to go to Haworth for the day. For a late lunch we popped into Pavé. What a great decision! The menu was a bit confusing at first but the patient waitress explained it well. You can choose from the set menu or choose your own fillings and mark the menu with the pens provided. I went for baguette with Yorkshire Ham and Wensleydale Cheese. It came with a light salad and chutney. Absolutely delicious! 5 of us were well fed and watered for £30.20. Great value. Dog friendly. The meat and cheese counter looked well stocked. The staff were all friendly and polite.”

“What an amazing find. Very beautifully restored former post office oozing with history. It has been immaculately renovated over 2 years, and the attention to detail really shows because it is a pleasure to sit inside. We had a lovely warm welcome as soon as we walked in and we knew we'd made a great choice. So many options of both hot and cold drinks, from mocha's to Fentimans. House coffee was a nice strength and very smooth. There is a full food menu including some very apetising warm sandwiches. Also a dessert menu that looked tempting. Our food was beautifully presented and made very quickly for us (wish we'd had more time to stay and try more!). Dont be fooled by the frontage! We nearly didn't go in because we thought it was full, but turns out there is LOADS of seating inside, both at the back and upstairs! There is a lovely seating area out the back which will no doubt be full on a sunny day! When we left a group of holiday makers were about to pass by as they thought it was full... We sent them straight in so we hope they enjoyed as much as we did! Please put some signs out to say you have the extra seats ☺”

“All the tourists appear to be at the top end of town, pretty quiet in here and I’m the first to have the cask ale today and it’s gone 2:00. Great place nevertheless and the beer brewed in Leyburn is on form.”

“Sunday lunch is well worth the time you need to wait as booking is essential. Tip: Phone or Email The Hawthorn, as they may be able to accommodate an ad-hoc reservation. Very beautiful building with a lot of history as you would expect from Haworth. They mix some fabulous cocktails and I can recommend the non alcoholic Ginger and Honey Lemonade (designated driver on our last visit). Exceptional food with amazing staff. Booking is definitely advisable to avoid disappointment”

“After a beautiful Worth valley train journey and a nice walk reached the amazing place of Haworth. A great location for photography and romance. Visited the Bronte's place as well and then felt hungry. Found this cute restaurant/cafe close to the Bronte's place. Entered and found pretty little things in the restaurant. Interesting food menu, beautiful quotes and marvellous showpieces convinced me to sit close to the window and get lost in a living dream. The view from the window was outstanding as the beautiful valleys were lit up by the gorging sunlight. The delicious fish soup danced down my throat and was enough to start the foodgasm. Then the chilled beer with another bowl of soup gave a boost to walk around Haworth with much more energy. The service was like a piece of butter, smilingly melting on the heart of cracking bread. The place was as neat as the first pour of Jack Daniels with two chunks of ice. The beautiful quotes on the walls will bound to make you feel the aroma of life. The restaurant/cafe itself states the character of Haworth and what England is all about. It was such a lovely moment. Beautiful memories. Golden days. Don't miss the charm of life which you can feel while sitting and munching in this little world. Thanks .”

“A beautiful pub in beautiful surroundings. This place is a little gem and serves good home cooked food. The burger was really nice. The beef patty was juicy with plenty of flavour. Service was good and the staff were friendly and attentive. I love the views from the table. The small play area was great for our little boy to burn off energy before eating”
