Fantastic time. Could not have been more welcoming, both proprietor and regulars. Should be on everyone’s Hythe itinerary.
From outside looks like a shop but inside a proper pub serving real ale, cider and wine. A little small. The landlord is very friendly and a real character. Good vakue prices.
I've only been here twice, but both times I've felt welcome and had a good laugh with Peter and his followers! 100% will continue to use this place when I'm close!

Wonderful host and a joy to be drinking ale with good friends who grow wiser. The warmth of the company distilled the chill in the afternoon air in a most pleasant courtyard.³ Now free from Covid-19 regulations and the courtyard experience consigned to history, the good humour is restored, intelligent debate remains utterly absorbing, and calm has returned to the fold under the control of our genial host Peter. The Potting Shed experience is not to be missed, said a family from the USA my wife and I hosted the other day.
