Went here for my birthday yesterday with some friends and had a lovely time, we had 3 courses and all were good. I had the creamy chicken mushroom for main and it was delicious, good portions sizes and reasonably priced. My friend had the lamb shank it was huge! They even packed up the leftovers for us to take home. Cocktails were great and the staff are lovely. Great service. Would definitely return.

A surprise Mother’s Day lunch for 4, including one vegetarian. First time visit and what a pleasure it was. We started with cocktails which were divine, followed by cold mezze which were so tasty and attractively plated. The Turkish bread was a delight in itself and a great accompaniment to the mezze. We then had a main course, one of which was a huge lamb shank!! All very tasty. No room for dessert or coffee. The whole experience was made perfect by the friendly staff, who went out of their way to make us comfortable. We will definitely return, Galatea is a little jewel in Rainham . Can’t wait to go back.

We finally get to try this Turkish restaurant on Valentine’s Day! It’s a little cosy restaurant, amazing service, very welcoming smile faces! Great portion size meals, gods was tasty! Maybe the only improvement side salad could be little larger with main meal 🤭very colourful small bowl but wasn’t my kind of salad 🥗 also maybe cocktails prices are too high ! Amazing dishes for sure and we’ll be back again! Best wishes!

Great place to eat food very good and a big portion. We used by our U3A walking group and found it very welcoming and dog friendly not a chain but a independent. On our vist on Monday it was a eatout to helpout day so the lunch was even bigger than before. Great atmosphere and very welcoming staff.

Just had our mum's wake there and it couldn't have been better. The buffet was lovely and plenty of it.

Superb little place. Having only moved here recently we have become regulars and have just had our grandsons christening here in the lovely function room at the back with over 40 guests. Excellent hot buffet, attentive staff and such good prices. We have seen weddings celebrations and funeral wakes here. All very well attended and being right next to the church makes for a great location. Definitely recommend. 5 stars. 🌟

Wow what can I say Sophie the landlady here is amazing she will really go above and beyond for you. We had our christening here for our son and the buffet food was absolutely amazing. The service was great thank you so much Sophie you made the day go great! The pub is such a lovely place to have events here.

Date night here this eve . Very surprised as our first time here. We loved it so much. Lovely food service and the staff working so hard But still time to make you feel welcome We now will make this a place to visit and have booked up for Sunday roast and a party of us for boxing day. Me and my brother and I were looking for somewhere to have some breakfast in Sittingbourne, and I happened to find this restaurant and decided to dine there. We were welcomed by a wonderful gentleman who seated us and took our drinks order. Breakfast was ordered shortly after by a wonderful waitress who was very polite and friendly, the food came really fast and both mine and my brothers food was really, really good, best breakfast I've had in a long time. The atmosphere was really nice and was something that me and my brother commented on. The restaurant is stylish and very clean, I can't comment on the evening experience, but it's something that I'm definitely looking forward to trying. The owner explained that they will be doing Sunday roasts, which will definitely be my next visit. If you're in the area and are looking for somewhere to eat either breakfast, lunch, or dinner, then I highly recommend visiting Ephesus.

We regularly visit Ephesus to enjoy a decent quiet meal with and without the kids. The owners are a lovely couple who make you feel so welcome and not rushed like other local restaurants. The food has always been to a real high standard so we always recommend dining here. We have booked here a couple of times for birthdays with a larger group and never had any complaints and my family can be quiet fussy. This year I decided to book for Christmas Day dinner for 24 of us. It can be a concern as you want everything to go perfect and with everyone liking there dinner cooked differently I didn’t want anyone to wish they hadn’t joined us as a couple of the family members were unsure on coming as they like their Christmas dinner at home their way, BUT it could not have been any better. With Christmas crackers on the tables and plenty of options for starters, main and desert for the 3 course meal. Some chose the traditional Turkey roast, some had sirloin steak, mixed grill and some had vegetable moussaka. All cooked perfectly. I don’t remember anyone leaving any of there meals (maybe the kids due to the generous size portions). IT WAS AMAZING. Thank you so much for a wonderful Christmas Day.

A nice Sunday lunch at the Ringlestone Inn. Attentive staff, hardworking and polite. Fully booked on Sunday, so reservation would be recommended. I had a pint curious larger and partner had G&T. I had the mackerel to start, which was delicious. We both had roast beef for mains. Followed by two flat white coffees. A lovely, well cooked meal in a nice location. We will be returning.

I treated my parents to lunch at The Ringlestone yesterday and we had the BEST time. From start to finish the service by the Manager was fantastic, he was so friendly and helpful. And wow the food was amazing !!! My Dad said its the best meal he has eaten at a pub, and for my Dad to say that, is a very big complement!! It was so lovely and Christmassy inside as well with the fires going. The homemade mulled wine was delicious too. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend a visit to The Ringlestone.

We had the most delicious lunch at The Ringlestone Inn today. The food was excellent and well presented. We only had the one course as we were going for a walk. I can definitely recommend the chicken and smoked bacon pie. We didn't stay in the accommodation so I couldn't rate it.

Fantastic - Lovely meal out with my wife today. The food was delicious and the presentation brilliant. We have been going to The Ringlestone for years before it closed and are so happy to see it back open and in such capable hands. The front of house service could not have been better. Well done you for making our impromptu lunch out so good. We left feeling uplifted and full of wonderfully cooked food and beverages. We will be back. Keep up the good work Guys. We ordered a takeaway for my wife's birthday as we aren't able to eat out at the moment. We'd always intended to try Plough and Harrow as a restaurant, so this was an easy choice when we wanted something a little special for a celebration. We were not disappointed! My daughter ordered cheeseburger and chips. I didn't get to try it but it looked amazing - packed full with a decent patty and lots of cheese and salad. It beat my daughter but she gave it a good go. My son ordered ribs and chips. He's a fussy eater so we asked for no coleslaw, but the amount of ribs was incredible. He battled his way through it and managed to finish it off. My wife ordered chicken skewers (you get two in a portion) and chips, which also came with halloumi, tzatsiki and pitta bread. Tender chicken, well seasoned and very tasty. I went for the mixed grill - 1 lamb skewer, 1 chicken skewer, sausage, chops, chicken wings, grilled tomatoes, chips (I think I've forgotten some bits too). It was amazing - I nearly finished it but ultimately beat me. We also ordered loaded fries and garlic mushrooms. Probably more food than we needed, but both equally delicious. Finally, as we'd heard good things, we also ordered some Lotus Biscoff and Black Forest cheesecake slices. After a considerable time after our main course, we enjoyed these - creamy and crunchy in all the right places. I would thoroughly recommend The Plough and Harrow Taverna. I look forward to when we can enjoy dining there in the future when circumstances allow.

For a birthday lunch on a Sunday, The Plough and Harrow Greek Taverna was a perfectly decent spot. I'm not going to be too critical here because its charm could be quickly tarnished by comparing this Taverna to finer eateries. Despite the fact that the owners are not themselves Greek, there's a home-cooked honesty to this place. Do not expect fine dining, but do expect plenty of well cooked food. In fact, the Mega Meze for four people was enormous. The ribs were tender, the chicken succulent, the rice fluffy and so on. However, with four generous courses, it was a bit of a food challenge and the food definitely won! Thankfully, the owners boxed up about half of it which became the following day's dinner. Result! The wine selection appears to lean into the cheap, cheerful and guzzly ethos. The Plough and Harrow is a little out of the way and street parking is in short supply. That said, inside is pleasantly airy with larger tables than most restaurants (they need to be for all that food). Service definitely comes with a smile. There's also an enclosed courtyard to the rear that has additional seating. I am sure it would be rather pleasant on a balmy summer's evening. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and wish the owners much success for the future.

Great owner who was very kind and hospitable when my car broke down in front of his shop. Offered me a soft drink whilst I was waiting for a mechanic to come. Many thanks 🙏

Just wish we'd discovered the Three Hats before! Lovely friendly family pub, great hosts and excellent food. Best chilli burger I've had as well as the cheesy chilli chips my wife had. We sat in the good sized beer garden which was very pleasant although it does look in need of a bit of a refresh! Didn't put us off though Sat in a lot worse and we will definitely be coming back very soon. The 20-25 minutes walk there for us is definitely worth it 😀

An amazing family pub. Been going here for 9 years with my family, including my son who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 6. Best food, best atmosphere, genuinely lovely staff and would recommend to all. Loving the food offers they do midweek, really helps out the local Milton and Sittingbourne community. Support local. They even do delivery!!

The Best Sunday Roast in Town! Tried a beautiful beef roast with all the trimmings today, everything was fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection! Lively pub, dog friendly, has a large beer garden at the back, lovely staff and great service! Highest marks on food plus it's 50% off all food Mon-Fri which is just what everyone needs before Christmas! Highly recommended and buckets of wine available!!! ☆☆☆☆☆

We were passing through the area, and looking for a traditional Sunday roast. Popped into this pub. The food was great. Good portions and lovely flavour. Staff and atmosphere were very friendly.

Christine house has the best venue and service ! I use the lounge for my birthday and all my guest loved it, her customer obsession is top notch, the food was flavourful and delicious . Her cocktails and palm wine presentation were mind blowing! I would recommend her venue a gazillion times! Thanks for making my birthday special!

We had lunch at Christine House. The venue had a warm with friendly atmosphere. There was a live band which provided great entertainment. The food was excellent and portions generous. It was a great place to relax, eat and meet up with friends.

A warm welcome at this traditional village pub. The cosy interior makes you feel at home and the friendly and efficient staff are always a pleasure. A couple of beers followed by a decent meal. You can't go wrong with a prawn cocktail followed by their fish and chips board which included a really tasty battered sausage. Roll on my next visit to Rodmersham!

A fantastic country pub in a lovely, quiet, village location. The Fruiterers has a nice recently refurbished restaurant which serves up some pretty tasty food. Staff are all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It has a nice beer garden for the summer and warm, cosy fires for the winter. There is normally some music playing in the background and it has a good atmosphere. Now, under new management, The Fruiterers is now even better than ever, the pub has a proper village pub feel about it again. The beer garden is perfect for the summer with plenty of benches and it also has some pretty cool sheds/cabins you can sit in for added privacy or for a bit of shade. Highly recommended. Update. Returned recently and had a fantastic fish and chips, which was massive and super tasty. The staff and locals are all so friendly and welcoming it is definitely worth a visit.

A pleasant country pub that comes into its own in the summer. Sitting in the garden on a summer's evening isn't a bad way to pass the time. The food's pretty good too (averaging about £15 a dish). The pub is situated in the small village of Rodmersham. The most famous resident was the artist Edward Ardizzone - and yet not one of his paintings/illustrations graces the wall of the pub.

It’s been great coming in here. Never came in here for 20 something years until this place improved. Best owners. Lovely food tastes proper. Beer tastes lovely. Nice coke. Reasonable priced crisps. Darts, comfy, warm and out the way of all the loud places.

Fantastic village pub offering an extensive menu. I always liked visiting this pub; excellent food and it used to have a pub cat. 😻 Back for the first time in a couple of years, we didn’t book and were lucky enough to get last available table in the bar on a Saturday lunchtime. Food menu is extensive and portions are generous. Fantastic steak ciabatta with mushroom pate to start. Very nice. Big onion rings and chips on the side. Big specials menu as well. The beer was Krombacher. Rarely seen but a decent pils. No room for pudding this time, but excellent previously and one to have. Small car park but you can park in nearby streets if full; so not a deal breaker. Whole baked Camembert on the menu. That you like to see. Will have that next time for sure.

Went for the first time, for Sunday lunch, and had the Roast Beef with vegetables and Yorkshire pudding all of which was cooked to perfection and tasted great. A very relaxed ambient atmosphere with pleasant staff situated in a lovely peaceful village setting

Honestly from the moment we walked in we had a very warm welcome from Jade who showed us to our table. Nigel served us and gave us an exceptional service taking our order and serving us drinks. The food was amazing too. Definitely a little hidden gem we found and will come and eat here again. Thank you again to all the staff.
